I want something similar to SpeedRom you can see on the Amaze 4G/Ruby.
So far I think the LiquidSmooth and the Psycho (Sammy) roms are extremely fast in terms of UI and Internet. Unfortunately, neither seem to allow my Mobile Data Plan to work.
Any recommendations?

Try change the modem based on your country. Maybe it will help.

Downloading MS Team rom now.
Tried all the different Modems (ICS) from my area, they all show reception, but do not allow me to connect... Thanks though.
I believe the last two users misunderstood my intentions:
1) The best rom will always be preferential based on what you are going for (e.g. speed, ease-of-use, tweaks available, etc.).
2) I have tried roms, which is why I stated the two I find to be the fastest as of yet. I should have clearly stated my criteria for a quick UI and Internet speeds.
Maybe the title was in bad taste, but my question still stands valid.
So your data works on wifi but not on 4g? Have you got your apn set correctly?

ive read some of the threads and not been encouraged. basically looking for a 2.2 based rom, no less capability than stock. I mean whats the point in flashing a phone if I cant even use stereo bluetooth? Looking for better processing speed, no bloatware, faster internet speeds, but not losing stock abilitys
gingerbread themes would be a plus

As far as most of us in this forum are concerned its Adrynalyne's Super Clean ROM's here are links to his ROMS and his new kernal.

I have tried just about everything out there and this works much better IMO than anything else, especially stock.
EDIT: You will need to look around in this section for themes that work with the version of rom you use, but there are alot of GB ones in there. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=722

ROMs (and kernels for that matter) cannot give you faster internet speeds. The only thing that will give you a faster connection will be a better signal, and the only thing on your phone that can give you a better signal that you can change is the modem. What ROMs and kernels can do is make the connection more consistent, so the connection speed doesn't fluctuate as much, but that is the best you could hope for.

there is no throttling enabled in the kernel or rom. Any throttling Verizon is going to do is on the network side, and no kernel or rom you flash is going to do anything to fix it. The issue with the stock kernel, at least the Eclair one, was that during periods of high data usage, the kernel drivers weren't coded well and they would easily bog down under load due to the issues and cause heavy fluctuation in your connection speeds. SirGatez fixed the issue in his Eclair kernel, and I'm sure that when the Froyo source is released, or if he gets the i9000 source working, he'll do the same thing again with that. But, there is no throttling or other bandwidth control setup.

A rom is, as good as the operator and what that operator may have installed on his or her device. Sod, mms, and clock lag and other issues are not the fault of the rom.

good day.
Another +1 for super clean.
As a further example of how complications are usually the fault of the user..... I was rooted running S.C. 2.9.1 voodoo EB16 Kernal and I starting having restart problems and even a bootloop at one point.... This was not the ROM but a theme I had decided to flash over it. Anything outside of what is provided for you in the Super Clean threads is a gamble.
Currently after returning to stock I am running the same set-up minus the theme and am having no issues. Running smoother and faster than ever.

There are so many great ROMs out there. It's up to you when it comes to your favorite. Just try keep trying different ones until you find one that you love.

Sense: inbREDed ROM is smooth and fast, MeanROM is another one. Both have all stuff working without problems. MeanROM is more stock look while inbREDed is a fully themed ROM, ledroid tweaks, 2 MPx in front forced. Also, OP is working on 1080p recording

The two ROMs I use:
Mean ROM: everything works. Uses the Ziggy kernel which is stable with great battery life. Very active dev (new release every few days) and very active user community. Has Beats working without the headphone hiss. This ROM looks mainly stock with some addons included or flashable.
Nocturnal Adrenaline: everything works. Uses the Anthrax kernel which is slightly worse on battery, but a little better in performance. Active dev (new releases about once every week or two) and active community of users. Less stock look since Leedroid tweaks are built in and some of the widgets and apps are inverted.
I flashed version a 2.2 ZR3D rom and it is great. Really sped my phone up!

X2. I am not new to rooting, but just recently finally rooted my Evo3D. Tried several different ROMs. I found that Mean ROM was very stable, very quick and snappy, everything works, and very active dev, as stated before. Many that use Mean are changing to the Anthrax kernel to go even faster, but the Ziggy kernel that comes stock on the ROM works great, and is a huge improvement over stock.
I AM looking forward to an ICS ROM that has everything working. Every time I try a ROM with something as a know issue not working, I think it will be no big deal to do without. Then I find that is the feature I miss the most. So I choose to stay with fully functional ROMs. Just my opinion...

THIS ISNT A WHO's BETTER THIS IS A WHICH DO YOU PERFER AND WHY THREAD
Example:
I use AOKP Because I like the speeds that I get with it the fact that it's a more minimalistic rom and that fact that it has a very nice GUI to accompany it however, CM9 also holds a spot in my heart because I do like many of the features that Cyanogen Mod comes out with, that are sometimes delay pushed into AOKP due to stability checks.
Which do you perfer AOKP or CM9
AOKP Pro: Sleek, Fast, Large User Group to help bug resolve, Nice GUI, Hilarious Thread posts. Compatible with NEAK kernel.
AOKP Con: 2 Con's atm. Dialing on dial pad creates a very bizzar vibration bug in my device not others and google play is still having purchase bug's however I believe that is just my gapps
CM9 Pros: large dev crew, very speedy development, Nightly Builds if you wanna see whats going on, Cutting edge coding, very few bugs on stable releases.
CM9 Cons: Flashing Addicts HEROINE :|, Leaves more to the user to design and set up rather then a flash and go kinda rom.

You've been around long enough to know comparing the efforts of developers isn't good form on these boards. We're lucky that we have several devs working on projects that have come a long way. Unfortunately, all of the current JB and KK ROMs have some type of issue, mostly involving Bluetooth and portable hotspot tethering. At the moment I'd say the PACman ROM is closest to being ready. Followed closely by evervolv. I haven't tried MIUI yet, but the reactions in that thread have been very positive. Of course you could also try one of the CM ROMs which many have been using as daily drivers for awhile. Read the threads, see which ones have issues that would negatively affect you the most, then try the one that suits your needs the best.
Well yes I know what you're on about, I know about the developers putting in enormous amounts of efforts in the roms but the point was to highlight ics roms or those based on it seem to be bug free, I could use something like that myself to come up with a rom myself

Your first post asked about JB, this one about ICS. Two different animals. On ICS we have many great fully functioning stable ROMs it boils down to the level of bloat you want removed for you, the theming, and the amount of tweaking and optimization. The leanest one that still maintains a fully functional sense is the one I'm using the Energy ROM, however, it's dated and the dev indicated last week that he'd be updating soon. SuperAfnan has a couple of outstanding ROMs both themed and stock. The ARHD ROM was updated yesterday and is totally stock with tweaks, it's probably the closest to the stock factory ROM. Then if you can live with a few minor bugs involving Bluetooth and tethering, the Viper Amaze is one of the most heavily tweaked, optimized, and full featured ROMs for our device, and it's sense 4 not 3.6 like the rest. I hope this helps.
Yes I'm on the energy one too tried nearly all of them but came back to this one. Somehow the amaze doesn't feel that smooth with either of the jellybean roms, which would you suggest for 4.1.2?

ROM comparison threads are not allowed. You need to test them out and find one that works for you by yourself. Please read the threads instead of asking because ROMS are subjective.
Please do not take developer work for granted.
As @Odysseus1962 stated there's so l many to choose from and he has already provided you with information so please just read the ROM threads. I'll give you a hint, there's a "broken" / "not working" section on the ROM threads so you can find bugs accordingly. Ones without it are usually more-or-less problem free.

There are several. Just about all of the ICS ROMs based on sense-3.6 meet your stated criteria. For example, SuperAfnan has 2 ROMs, one themed and one stock, and NRGZ28 has both a stock and themed ROM too. All 4 of these have either additional tweaks or features than ARHD. There are others, take a look at the Amaze wiki page, anything marked as stable should be fully functional. Try them out and see for yourself.
As mentioned above, users are expected to try ROMS and see for themselves what they prefer instead of asking which is the most stable, or "best".

Please take note of what is recommended above. In essence, you are making a request for a "best rom" and we tend not to keep these around, as they can lead to arguments. Many people have many answers, as each rom meets each users expectations to different degrees.
