I had done several things before (rooting, installing cwm recovery through rom manager, etc) until my phone got bricked, and tried a lot of things until i have flashed Cyanogenmod, and it woks just fine (and its cool), but I have changed it back to original stock firmware using KDZ flasher. Now, I tried to boot my phone in recovery mode (by holding volume down+back+power button) and CWM recovery is booted. I want to get rid of it and restore back my original recovery, because, i suppose, it was the reason why my phone was bricked before (i wiped and formatted the system and updated the firmware using fOTA, and the result was a CWM bootloop)
I had read several forums, threads, and blogs but found nothing.. Please help me, I'm totally deppressed!
PS sorry for my bad english

So.. I was using my phone normally .. but suddenly my phone went very very slow and then I turned off... I was running Unnamed rom.
But here is the deal , the phone didnt woke up! I mean , The phone got stucked into a boot loop , So I treid to enter into recovery with no luck!... Then I managed to go into download mode without any problem.
So after that I restored the phone to stock (One click root odin) . BUT the phone is still showing the Galaxy S Screen Boot loop.
HELP!
I´ve tried many things.. 2 Laptops and PC´s , ports , etc.. I also removed the sim card and the micro sd , but that didnt do anything.
So , any suggestion?
PS: Sorry 4 my english
I'm going to assume that you flashed UCKH7, either the stock without root, or the stock with root one click downloader. If you flashed something different than one of these, let me know.
Since you flashed the stock package successfully, you should now be able to get into 3e recovery by holding vol+ vol- and power buttons. Once in 3e recovery, you should do a wipe data/factory reset and your phone should then boot normally.
If you are unable to get into 3e recovery, then there is some sort of unusual problem, so post back here and we'll try to find out what it is.

If you can't get into recovery using the three button technique then there is something seriously wrong with your phone.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Yes... I'm thinking possible hardware issue. But since you can still get download mode, I'd try flashing the full stock package which you can get from the Download Repository. The one you already flashed did not contain the bootloaders and other stuff. If that doesn't clear it up, then I'm thinking repair or replace.
Noob question.. Where I can find the download repository?
thanks

Hey, this is my first post so be easy!
I rooted my One X a while back and it has been fine and only now I decided to install a ROM.
I went for Cyanogenmod 9 and followed the instructions to install it on my phone.
IT went smoothly and runs okay as far as I can tell apart from Recovery Mode.
Everytime I go to boot into recovery it just starts the phone as usual. It doesn't get stuck on the boot screen or anything, it starts just like normal but it doesn't start in recovery!
I have tried doing to through the Power + Volume Down method and through CLockworkMod app, no luck.
I have also tried to reflash Recovry but it still doesn't start.
This is frustrating as I can't even restore my phone to an earlier backup due to this.
Any ideas??
Cheers!

Sorry for my complete 'noobness' but whats that adb?

ADB is short of android debug bridge. It comes with the android sdk.You can google it. Once ypu install the sdk you can google how to set up and use adb. Also don't forget to put ypur phone in debugging mod via Settings> Application>Developmemt

I have tried that, using adb reboot reovery, and it will doesn't load. Just boots the phone like normal. :/
Any other ideas?

Hello all,
I have an issue with my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-5830i that is stuck in Android system recovery (3e) mode, and it seems there is no way to get it out of there.
- upon selecting wipe data/factory reset the device is stuck with one message "multicsc: src /system/csc/MTL/system/ ." and "Formatting /data..." bellow
- upon selecting apply zip from the SD card the installation always fails with various error messages (I tried to install cyanogen mod rom in an attempt to recover, but failed as well)
- upon selecting reboot now the whole screen disappears with only the "multicsc: src /system/csc/MTL/system/ ." message at the bottom of the screen and I need to remove the battery.
I will greatly appreciate if anyone on this forum could help with the issue, as I have search for possible solutions without any luck so far, and my phone appears to be bricked.
Thank you,
John
My guess is u still on stock recovery. Flashing cm rom or any other custom rom needs clockworkmod recovery, moroever theres no cm rom for s5830i yet.
For now u could try to reflash stock rom with odin. Theres a thread somewhere guiding howto do so for s5830i. Also do note that anything for original s5830 wont work on your s5830i.
Last but not least, do read more and understand what you're trying to do before u really hardbricked the poor thing.
Thanks for the pointers, I really appreciate it and everything works fine now.
It was actually my nephew's phone, so I have no idea how he managed to brick it like that.

I have the exact same problem. Except I can't even enter into download mode. Phone boots into recovery mode regardless of what buttons I press, get stuck at "formatting /data", and I can't flash anything. All the buttons seem to function as intended in the recovery menu, so it's not a hardware failure. Any ideas?

Flash stock rom thru odin then from recovery mod Clear data and cache then reboot. [emoji4]
I know this is kind of old but I have same problem, i got this phone from cousin and it wasnt booting , it was going straight into recovery, since my mother has same phone and i used odin before to save her, i am familiar with odin so, I tried new firmware flash with odin , it passed on odin but again doesn't want to finish install on the phone, it says
installing update...
--appling muti-csc --
Fromatting /cache...
-- Appling Muti-CSC __
and it wont go anywhere from there , and if I reboot it goes back in recovery again and it wont format data again, formatting cache works. I also tried to flash cm7, rooted it, installed cwm but when i do reboot it is not in cwm but in regular recovery, so after that I installed cwm again and without reboot installed cm7 kernel wich succeded , after that installing the cm7 itself stuck on "installing update" , could this be hardware issue, it always seem to be stuck when its doing something with "data". I tried couple odin flashes multi package and single package, i was carefull to chose correct firmware, only thing i could make mistake is maybe with pit and re-partition. Anyone help i would appriciate it much since i have no other phone than this.

Hey guys
While using Rom Manager the application asked me to install clockwork mod recovery (although I had a previous version), it installed it (a newer version I guess) but then when I rebooted into recovery, I got the "emergency mode" screen for a couple of minutes. I removed the battery and put it back, restarted the phone but it got stuck at the LG logo. I tried the recovery combo (with volume-up key), and the other one (with volume-down key) but no result. So is my phone bricked ?
If repairing it requires the computer, please send me the drivers links because the ones from the LG website don't work properly for me. I'm on windows 7 64bits.
Please help guys.
Thanks.
Search it in hehappy thread he posted it there

I flashed the officiel firmware through KDZ, the device booted correctly but stopped at the "android" logo. I tried with another firmware image, same result. Then I thought about flashing cwm 5.0.2.0 with lgmdp, and then flashing a custom rom, using this tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318750 but it didn't help. When I try the recovery combo now, I get a loading screen from the recovery (a progress bar) for seconds and then the phone reboots.
Guys please help me I need to fix my phone. Any help is appreciated.

do you now how to use LGMDP???
Yes I tried with LGMDP I tried flashing a .kdz file, and tried flashing custom recovery. I'm not sure I selected the right folder, and not sure about the files for the custom recovery on LGMDP but it didn't work.
im uploading a zip inside zip it have a folder with V20I to flash by LGMDP.
you put your phone on emergency mode go to lgmdp connect to to phone and then in that window whre you put the path to recovery you flashed you will put the folder im uploading and then start flash phone when it finished it will reboots or turn phone off and you should be fine.
10m i give you link to V20I to flash by lgmdp

Flashing a kdz means stock rom and stock recovery. You'll have to re-root & re-flash custom recovery.
CWM 5.0.2.7 is reportedly buggy. Use 5.0.2.0 or better still, Amonra recovery which works flawlessly. Then you can go on to flash any custom ROM you like.
Hope this helps.

i already did a search in google and XDA but nothing worked ! please read carefully
my G925I just restarted and never be able to boot again, so i enter to stock recovery and wiped cache data BUT no luck, and flashed a stock firmware and still the same, it's boot to stuck recovery and show installing updates BUT at 30% its stop and saying "erasing" then its reboot and stay in bootloop,
i managed to get into download mode and flashed TWRP recovery, when ever i try to flash a rom the phone restart again and enter bootloop and it's never shutdown!!
tried :
1- wipe everything
2- flash more than one stock firmware
3- flash recovery and succeeded BUT it's keep restarting !
4- flash custom ROM BUT no luck, keep restart at installing !
5- flashed custom kernel and it WORKED :good:
for now i can only boot into download mode without restart

This is a soft boot due to the fact you still have the ability to access recovery and such what i would suggest you do is get factory files and restore phone back to stock and start over this should fix your problem. If you look around XDA you will find the files you will need ODIN being the main tool you will use to flash your phone.

You have flashed a stock firmware with stock bootloader etc. using odin and still stuck in a soft brick ? remember to wipe the phone a rule of thumb i use is to wipe the phone 3 times before i flash and 3 times after i flash. during the first boot up it may take a little time to boot as it must rebuild the cache. I dont think it is a motherboard issue i think you may have just flashed a wrong file that needs to be wiped out before continuing on. i have had this problem in the past with a galaxy s2 when i was developing custom roms for it. it took me a couple of wipes and factory firmware reflashes but i eventually got the phone back in working order. look here for the factory files you will need to re flash your phone with odin ----> https://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-G925I/ also make sure you are using the latest version of ODIN you will to put your phone in download mode instead of recovery
Hi, could you fix it ?? I am facing the same issue.
