I flash makdroid v2 then after some days i also flash vm00 v29 kernel,and everything was working fine,so yesterday i switch off my phone and when i try putting it on,i get kernel panic upload mode,and i cant boot to the OS and recovery.i can ony go to download mode,so i tried to flash stock rom with odin but, odin does not detect my phone.pls i need help to get my phone working again.thanks in advance.

2 days ago i restart my phone but it dont, it just flashing the touchscreen and stay so until i drop the battery, i try an update whit odin but fail... so anyone knows?(sorry for bad english)

Just boot into recovery mode and choose wipe data/factory reset. Otherwise flash new rom via Odin. Use only backfront panel of your PC to connect USB.
how can i start recovery mode because i tried all combinations and does'nt work

home button + power ...hold till screen comes on ....will b a bit tougher on stock recovery ....try untill u succeed
i tried home+power button and again its flashing... i install a stock whit odin and again its flashing....

i cant understand what u want to say bud but theres an alternative :
IF u can access your recovery mode , flash cwm recovery , root your phone and flash stocklitev7 ...its a stock based rom ..u will like it ....and then after the phone boots try to flash your stock rom again with odin ,,,the flashing aand rooting guide is present in sga android development section .......
ohh wait mayb i can undertand what u mean .....do u have kies installed on your pc ??? kies is needed for the usb drivers needed to get your phone recognized by odin .....u cant flash a rom until that " yellow box " appearss,,,,,.....
i cant access anything because the phone doesnt start, he is just flashing, i can use only download mode, i have kies,odin etc but when i install a rom whit odin the phone its flashing again...

this u have to do in recovery mode i cant get why u cant access it is your phone GT S5830???
He meant that his touchscreen is flashing and he can't do a thing with it.
The answer is simple. Take the phone to the local Samsung service centre.
Just don't mention that you tryed ODIN, or KIES to revive the touchscreen.

It flashed fine but then it was stuck on the PA bootscreen so then I tried restoring a backup through TWRP but it said no backups found even though I made 3, i later realised they were in a different folder and I couldn't get them.
Anway, desperate to get a working phone, I downloaded the I9300XXELLA firmware and flashed it via ODIN, it failed so I disconnected my phone and now it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, select recovery mode through kies". I cannot go into recovery or download mode.
Is there anyway to get my phone to work or have I successfully created a paperweight?
The phone was bought from India. If I need to provide any information, let me know, I'd love having my phone back.
First step is to source a USB recovery Jig to get to download mode .
That fails its a service centre .

1st u remove battery and install again and try to going on download mode after that u just flash stock recovery via odin and then u flash stock rom via odin,find zip for stock recovery,

I have a Galaxy S2 on 4.1.2 jellybean.......I tried to flash Siy S2 V4.1.5 during the process the reset icon on ODIN came on and the process had stopped. I reset the phone as I thought that what was required(by switching it off and on). My phone is unable to boot past the logo which is a yin/yang symbol which keeps on flashing.
I have tried the recovery mode and wiped all data but this has not worked i.e the phone is stuck in the logo stage. ODIN will now not recognise my phone and I have reinstalled and uninstalled the samsung drivers,Kies etc ...................... Can you plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help as I am at loss what to do next.....I have searched the web and I am unable to find an answer as ODIN doesnt recognise my phone therefore I cant flash any rom etc...........
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease help and many many thanks in advance......

On 4.1.2 you need Siyah 6.04. Find here on xda patched zip of siyah 6.04 and install it from recovery.
You havent "bricked" your phone. Bricked is when you cant access recovery/download mode or power on phone etc.
What you have done is flash a incompatible kernel version for your rom so it wont boot to system. Siyah v4 is for ICS not JB. Just reboot into recovery or download mode and flash Siyah v6 beta4, .tar for download mode and the .zip for cwm.
Make sure you're flashing the right stuff for your device's model.

Just a note what is the difference between the siyah 6.04 and the stock ROM I have...I mean are there any tangible benefits I will see etc...Forgive my terminology as I'm new to this.......

Hey guys, i was running the latest version of Slim Kat rom for my i9100 when it turned off and then was stuck on samsumg boot logo. When i try to access twrp it just says teamwin and wont go any further. It happened once before and so i just flashed a stock rom and then went back to rooting it. However, now when i try to flash any rom (stock/custom), or another recovery with odin it freezes at "nand write start". I have access to download mode which is really the only thing i have working atm
Ive read around and done everything (eg try other usb ports/cables/odin version) but no luck. Is there anything else i could do? I dont wanna do a pit flash cause im scared ill completely screw it up.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Try installing the stock kernel and then try using odin.in download mode,try installing cwm recovery image using odin

Hello i got samsmung tab 2 p5110 whit cmw instaled and cyanogenmode 10. I was trying to get back to original coz the tablet is reseting , i done all what i can even when i load stock firm whit odin and said pass nothing happens try all difrends roms using odin and cwm and anything i done nothing change still boting to cynagenmod... any one can help me ? pls
