how does dis work buddy?
MAN! WHY IS THE UPDATER SCRIPT INSTRUCTED TO FORMAT THE SYSTEM PARTITION!!!??!?!? PLEASE GO THROUGH IT!!!!
PLEASE REMOVE THE ATTACHMENT AT ONCE! IT WILL DEFINITELY FORMAT THE SYSTEM PARTITION!!
The updater-script looks like it has been directly pulled from a custom Rom so it obviously formats the system partition . Please edit the updater-script accordingly!

It's not a full apk . I don't know how to call it because I haven't used it before . I think it's called zipthemer or something like that. It looks like an apk but it's just a folder which only contains the files which has to be replaced inside an existing framework-res.apk in your device. So it would probably work with any framework-res.apk.

I don't know if I'm wrong but still the updater-script looks broken to me (forgive me if I'm wrong).

Okay, but you better remove the attachment for the time being.
And why is the data partition mounted and unmounted unnecessarily? And you cannot unmount the sdcard because the flashable zip itself is present in the sd card during execution and you can't instruct it to unmount itself .

Okay, I think I've bothered you enough for today but a piece of friendly advice, test your product atleast 10 times before you release it and after releasing it, download it again from where you uploaded, and test the downloaded product once again. Sorry to bother you .

lesson no. 1
you need the base files...
you can get it from?
1. a nandroid backup of your own device
2. a pc companion blob
3. someone else's rom
4. an ftf file
option 3 is best usually
option 2 and 4 are worst...and anyways can be used only for stock based roms
Sent from my X10S using xda premium
lesson 2
how to extract files
1. if its a .sin file, use sin2img.exe by azuzu or sin2img.py by defer and continue to step 2
2. if its a .img file, get unyaffs.exe (or get the whole xperia rom manager package) and use it to extract
3. if its a zip...well....what do you need then? nothing

thre is a thread in dev section written by spaarc which is about porting roms (its 80% complete...lol)
though it may not pertain to you, if you are not porting cm7/miui but still that's a very informative thread...read it thoroughly

Flashing the zip won't work, pasting the files just sent me into bootloop, and pasting the files changing the permission sent me into bootloop as well. I reccomend avoiding this "fix" till we get some decent instructions. Going for 3RD reflash now

Firstly, I install srs from paul via CWM.. After that, using root explorer, I copy both of the extracted files you provide in the zip to the specified folder, replacing the previous one.. After that, I changed both files permission to rw-r-r... I reboot my phone and gets bootloop... Any idea why the bootloop happening ?

Change the .apk to .zip and extract the aplication to find your image change it to transparent and compress files again to zip and normal comperession method with win zip or win rar then change the .zip to .apk and replace the new aplication with root explorer and restart .....enjoy

Easy solution
you can just try this mod in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797064
you will be able to remove the bottom line completely but not the upper line
and it's more customizable than stock

Yes. I also used super one click, gingerbreak, 8 others like break droid.
Also is that the only bug u found on the r800i?
It's not a ROM bug. It's the zip. Nobody will be able to flash it unless they know which folders to extract and how to re-zip it.
What ROM did you port it from? Because as far as I know it's the first ROM without the audio bug.
