Try the new Samuaz's ICS build MedroidModHWA-1.4.4.
I try it for almost 2 days and seems not bad. I don't like the application that amuaz built in (like Astro, Titanium and Nova Launcher Prime) and uninstalled them via Root Uninstaller since I use the License prog....
The camera previous view ok.

Can somebody tell me, why in ICS energy usage by display is so big (60-70%)?
On MIUI 2.3.9 I had only 25-30%.
thanks for your link... would like to ask, does the launcher go crazy after taking few photos like it used to happen before???
nice to see samuaz is still developing! Is he using latest HWA from Drewis like dk_zero-cool rom?

Probably because MUI has a battery drain somewhere else? Another possibility is that your phone with MUI was mostly pn standby. 60-70% is quite normal if you use your phone, as the screen uses the most power in a phone.

Too late for me, I'll try in the next night. Thanks for the thread.
Lag while transitioning between settings menus, or while opening any app such as messaging. Wasn't there till 1.4.1, has been there since 1.4.2. Frustrating to be stuck on 1.4.1 to avoid it!
@samuaz, I've posted about it a couple of times. Could you identify why this is recurring? Its not there on the BCM9 ROM either. I do full wipes before EVERY install, so doesn't look like an issue with my installation.
Also, the multitouch fix posted in the @texasice Evervolv thread causes the phone to get stuck on bootscreen! Fix please!

By default its start as 3G without any problems. When you change it to 2G still not any problem. Just if you want to repeat to 3G it'll reboot and start up again as 3G with no problem at all.
still use medroidMOD,am in luv with this rom
but seriously,am on ver 1.4.4 atm and my mic dont work, i cant speak my sms or do vocal command, this "feature" work only if i use MedroidMOD ver 1.4.2

We already have official CM10 support. That's what the early builds have been based off of, since the code has always been available. This just means the CM team will be cranking out their automatic nightly builds, including one for our devices. I do hope that the more device specific changes (dual battery meter, keyboard function keys, unique recovery, etc) get implemented soon.
I hope ASUS does not think they are off the hook...
YOU ARE NOT!
Hear that ASUS.

Here's the link for the official nightlies:
http://get.cm/?device=tf201&type=nightly
I flashed the CM10 build, but it won't boot.
I wiped data, cache, and dalvik.
The ASUS screen loads, but just a black screen after that.
Anyone else try it yet?
Nightly CM10 is discussed in the preview thread in android development forum.
seems to be fixed in next build according to rayman.
I am having alot of fun flashing these new roms. XDA rocks.
flashed latest nightly 0820
overall performance very smooth and stable,
but does not have keyboard dock status
i hope fix soon

Flashed the 20th Aug ROM, the BT audio streaming not working. Have to use TeamEOS ROM as that's the one I can use with my Sennheiser travel headphones...
Bluetooth Streaming
I just flashed the 8/21 version and still not able to stream via BT. I saw the post before me has the same problem. Has anyone found a workaround? I love the ROM and really need this to stream to my new big Jambox.
Banding and Google account
Loving the nightlies, one issue I have is horizontal banding. It comes up when scrolling a web page or switching desktops. Not all the time but often enough. It's fixed by setting the cpu to a constant freq.
One other thing if anyone knows how to resolve... after applying a nightly (i wipe dalvik cache) my google account disappears from 'settings' and none of my google related apps work. Play store pops up and closes auto... youtube wont log me in. etc.
Any ideas out there? So far i've had to wipe /system to get back into my google stuff.
Bing.
You need to flash the JB gapps from 7/26 for your Google apps to work. You probably still have ics apps.

I'm assuming your building from the latest source at the time of the build or are you making any other tweaks and changes?
So this is the same as the CM10 nighties with the addition of the FJ's kernel as standard.
SO glad our Notes are getting the support they deserved.
I still it's the most amazing device ever and you just keep making it better and better.
Thanks so much for this! As soon as I'm allowed to thank people again (just a few more hours I think lol) I'll thank you!

It basically is just latest source with FJ's kernel. I may be adding in some fixes before they hit nightly though. I do realize we could all use nightlys, but I like the small community we built up, as well as the think tank of sorts. I think it's better than all going our separate ways.
just curious, will i be able to flash this over CWM touch recovery?? I tried doing quincyatt nightlies before, flashing them over CWM touch, but they fail!

Well, if you couldn't before, you probably won't be able to now either. You have two options though. You can update to the latest CWM and it should work, or you could install TWRP which I recommend. I have a link above to TWRP and the instructions are easy to follow.

Just so you know, this problem is not limited to the yp-g70 on pacman, i\t also affects the yp-g1 on pacman, cyanogenmod, and aokp. I bet that the same applys to the yp-g70 variants of those roms as well.

FM radio do work with the YP-G1 on CM10 and pacman. Maybe you can't hear anything because digital audio is set instead of analog. The digital issue is fixed and you can listen to digital in PAC, CM will follow in the next preview build.

Im am interested in this as well I just updated to the latest PAC (6/24 build) and changed the settings to what you listed above zaclimon but I dont hear anything either weird.
Also zaclimon did you happen to purchase the full version of SpiritFM already if so I had a question is it possible you could test something for me? Does the record function work with our device?
Thanks

Hmm depends on if you have the 4.0 (seems so). And yes I have the full version and I do confirm that recording works. However it works only if you're on digital mode which I'm running. You should be able to listen if you have pac running to your 4.0. (don't forget your headphones plugged in)

You won't get audio working. As I've said on the second post, any devs of the 5.0 didn't added support for the fm radio drivers.

Just wanted to post for anyone else who may be trying to find this information as of this post SpiritFM (2013_8_12) works with the YP-G70 (5.0) if you use the option under Audio > Method then Galaxy SL/i9003 and FM radio should work. This has been tested so far with the 10.2 ROMS and Sultan Kernel.
Hope this helps

Sorry to quote you on a old thread but didnt want to start a new one. I noticed here that you were able to get the Digital audio work hence also the Recording function on the 4.0 did you have to do anything in addition than adding the Radio drivers in the kernel to make this work? Would like to try to get this working for the 5.0 if possible. Thanks again
Well I just needed to add this line to the init script:
mount debugfs /sys/kernel/debug /sys/kernel/debug
The reason for it is because Spirit searches for this component: /sys/kernel/debug/asoc/smdkc110/wm8994-samsung-codec.4-001a/codec_reg
If it can get it, it can decode digital fm, if not, you won't listen a thing. The problem with your device is you don't have the wm8994 codec so I don't know if it will ever work on your device.
Hope it helps!!

I was also able to get this working with the settings above, just an observation when I left the Audio -> Method at automatically it worked when using the speakers in the back but didn't for headphones. However setting the setting for Galaxy SL/i9003 allows both the speakers and the headphones to work on my U.S. device running the R6 sultan kernel.

ANDROID 6.0.1 MARSHMALLOW SM-G900P
Screenshots in post #2
HELLO EVERYONE!!! This rom has taken a kind of backseat for awhile, i do apologize on that! unfortunately at this time i just had a new baby girl enter my life and crazy busy hours at work, so i hope the current release is still working for everyone and im glad to see others still helping each other out!
Also i am SKRANTIX if your wondering when you boot up it says skrantix.. well thats because i named everything that not thinking about my name on here not being the same.. sorry..
This is my first time ever doing any sort of build for any android phone, and i know that there are other roms out there, but i felt pretty proud of myself that i was able to learn how to do this. Of course none of this could have been possible without the help from a few people, @T-Macgnolia, @DevVortex for helping me get the proper setup going and showing me/teaching me how to get things from git. @Prasanna V (Vega TaySailor) for moral support and also @albinoman887 for all the work he and his team have done to get this off the ground. Of course i want to thank cyanogenmod and team for all they do as well. Also this is my first ever post on xda of this magnitude so.. im sorry for the all over the place sloppy nature of it. Later on down the road i would like to incorporate other things into the rom.. but im not at that level yet
PLEASE NOTE, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING THAT MAY HAPPEN TO YOUR DEVICE IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY FILES. THIS HAS BEEN TESTED ON MY PERSONAL DEVICE AND DOES WORK
When you flash this rom, the rom will do the normal, show boot animation for a few then continue into the starting apps process. After that is done it will go BACK to the boot animation for just a few seconds before it then fully boots up.. Just so everyone is aware and don't want anyone to think oh, its bootlooping when its indeed not doing so
What Works

in my personal opinion, the things i have noticed that are different are.. system overall is much faster and fluid, transitions seem to happen a lot faster, i personally like that it now asked almost anything you do to allow or deny permissions for usage. the battery life is overall much better, the ability to optimize all or one app for better battery life/performance is a plus. I am sure there are things i am missing, but those are a few things i notice in day to usage
I just want to apologize to everyone, i wanted to have a new build out for you all today but i am currently having some building issue hoping to have everything resolved shortly. until that time, the current rom that is on here is still working and available!
Is native hotspot hack built into this rom?
