I dont understand what you are asking. A stock rooted GB ROM? The only GB ROMs we have that are worth looking into is Eclipse and CM7. Eclipse is more stock as in how you baught the Droid X2. CM7 is more stock as in pure android (AOSP). And again, I dont know what you mean by "losing my flash so I cannot sbf to stock"

My x2 is flashed to cricket cause I can't afford Verizon. Sbf to stock would mean losing that flash putting the phones network back on Verizon making it unusable and would be paper weight. I want a stock moto DROID rom like blur

Can i flash a eclipse on 181?

I have the 181 update installed but seems like waiting for Ics on RAZR is going to take way longer than expected. I want to switch to something new like eclipse....Ics leak had too many issues for me. So can i flash a rom while running on 181?
Sent from my XT910 using XDA
Absolutely, I flashed on .181 and have had zero problems. Eclipse is even a little more battery efficient.

Awesome I cannot wait to flash later. What's best way to go about this?
Bootstrap or safestrap?
Sent from my XT910 using XDA
If you're an XT912(CDMA-Verizon) owner go safestrap as its safer,no bootlooops, switching between ROMs. Sadly, if you're an XT910(GSM) owner you'll have to use bootstrap.
Here's a website with some helpful guides on how to install either one of them, how to install ROM and more.

Need help with OTA/updating

So I uses the ICS Installer v1.0 by Rouxe41, for the leak of android 4.0.3.( SV 6.14.75) a while back, i'm still on it but i want to get to .211. I know i have to get to the stock OTA first.
I'm afraid of soft bricking my phone by just letting the OTA run. Should i use RSD, if so what files and how. Can i just get the OTA and use Voodo root keeper and be fine? How do i go about gettting this and from there how do i go about getting to .211 (.211 is the latest leak, right?)?
Is your stock os gb?

If so download droid razr utitlity 1.4, go into ap fastboot, run option 1 and you should go back to stock os where you can do ota's. I had the same problem when i was going from eclipse on gb to ota ics official.

droid x2 custom rom

Ive been searching for a clear and concise how to for flashing the X2 rom i have the cm10 port and it fails something to the extent of wrong kernel
the X2 was givin to me so i dont know the history
The specs are as follows
system version 1.3.418.Mb870.verizon.en.us
Android Version 2.3.5
Baseband N_03.13.31P
Kernal version 2.6.32.9-00008
id read somewhere about having to sbf down to froyo before rooting is this the issue?
all roms are flashed on 2.3.4, with exception of eclipse, which is flashed on 2.3.5
flash back to 2.3.4, using sbf and rsd lite,
reroot, install bsr, install cm10

this is how i sbf my phone to 2.3.4, it seems to be the easiest. just make an iso disk, restart your computer with the disk inside, sbf. heres the link http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x2-hacks/41697-tool-ezsbf-dx2.html , although i think it is the same link that shadow gave you. just making sure you saw the ez sbf disc option. good luck.
Your best bet would be to SBF and run a ROM like CM7 or Eclipse 2.3 or Liberty3 (most stable roms)

So..I rooted my phone on 2.3.5. If I SBF back to 2.3.4, can I use RootKeeper to get root back?? Or will that cause problems?
flashing a sbf rewrites all system files, there will be no rootkeeper backup

One more question, will I need to go through the activation process with my carrier after SBF flash?
which carrier?

Page plus

just dial *228 if you don't get an activation screen.
it's an automated call just press 1, when prompted.

you should just use ezSBF DX2 2.3.4
less likely to cause reactivation problems

What ROM can I use AFTER flashing to Cricket on my Droid X2?

What roms, if any, can I use on my Droid X2 after flashing it over to Cricket? Can I even root the phone now after its flashed over? Thanks.

1.3.418.MB870.Verizon.en.US
you can install eclipse 2.3 as phone is on 2.3.5
if you soft brick, do not use rsd lite, it will wipe radio settings
you should be able to use DX2 2.3.4 ezSBF or flash SBFs with 'sbf_flash'
links in my list
sd_shadow's [Collection] of Links: FAQs, Guides, Rooting, SBFs, ROMs... - Google Docs
good idea to back up apn settings, using 'apn back up and restore'
and make a nandroid in DX2 bsr (bootstrap/ system recovery)
There is a very good flash to Cricket tutorial over on cricketusersforums that will guide you through the flashing process... I had to reflash my X2 so many times I became a pro lol... Just in case you have to sbf you won't be totally screwed.

[Q] Droid Razr On Page Plus (Can I install ROMS) |Solved|

Ok. So I have a Droid RAZR original verizon (xt912 I belive) on page plus. I have had someone flash it so it is full 3g so it works on Page Plus. I had it on ICS when it was flashed. Then I updated to the Motorola 4.1.2 Update and I had to get it flashed again. The person who flashed it charges 60 bucks, so it is impossible for me to get this phone flashed again. I have successfully rooted this phone on android 4.1.2. If I install a custom ROM, will I have to flash it again, because I don't want to fork over another 60 bucks. If it does lose page plus 3g, is there an easier way to flash this myself?
Thanks,
VLASP
Yes I have Pageplus and I always flash roms and get everything working with out flashing again. And you didnt have to pay that much! 60 is too much. Google "Droid RAZR on Pageplus" and you will find the tutorial on how to flash it step by step. I flashed it without knowing anything about flashing phones. Good luck!

So those tutorials also work on custom roms? That's nice to know. Thanks! I will try it.

Just flash on stock ROM, and as soon as you install roms it will automatically stay connected you do t have to reflash after each install of a ROM.
