G'day,
New I9300 owner - love that phone.
Posted on Samsung Forum with no responses.
I have call recipients reporting a problem.
My call volume seem to fade at their end - they can't hear me for 6/10 seconds every 30 seconds or so.
I don't have a problem hearing them - they can't hear me.
I have full signal strength.
I've searched the forum with no luck.
Any clues on a fix for this?
regards

I seem to be experiencing a variation of the known "silent call" bug. Instead of not being able to hear a person when they call me or I call them, the audio cuts out for about 5-10 seconds at various times during most conversations. This was never an issue with my previous phones (3VO, Instinct, Nextel phones, etc.) and most of the time, the other caller has full signal strength on their end when this happens. My signal strength is usually good too at the time of the occurrence. The good news is the audio eventually picks back up after the 5-10 seconds of silence and I'm glad I don't have to reboot my phone to resume the conversation but it is very annoying. No one likes to ask, "What did you just say?" repeatedly throughout a conversation.
Anyone else experiencing this one? Any solutions?
Hello All,
I have recently purchased Samsung Galaxy S2 which is just an awesome model I have come across. I purchased it just 2 weeks back
Now what the problem I am facing is that when I receive any incoming call on my mobile I hear the ringtome for 10 second sec and then suddenly it gets stop. I have tried all the function in setting option but still the problem is same. Previously I was thinking I might not be knowing some features but after seeing some post here I came to know that I am not only individual who is facing this issue but there are too many people who are facing same kind of issue.
Now the surprising thing is that this problem appears sometimes and not everytime.
Could somebody assit me anything on this?
Hi all
After getting the update to ICS I have experienced this twice:
My phone starts ringing with a very loud ringtone (louder than I think I left it) and I cannot answer it.
The phone doesn't lock or anything, but there just isn't any option to answer the call. It just behaves as if it wasn't ringing.
The first time it was in my pocket when it started and I turned the phone off to make it stop.
The second time I was writing a text and I just turned the volume down, and eventually it stopped.
The calls doesn't show up in the logs, and I haven't been able to find out who was calling, so in reality I don't know if someone was actually calling or if the phone just decided to suddenly play the ringtone out loud.
Anybody else experienced this?
/Brian

Moving to Q&A
My samsung mega doesn't ring only some time. If it doesn't ring the call will go to voice mail. If the caller hangs up before it goes to voice mail I never know I was called because it doesn't show a missed call in call log. I have read all I can find here and other places. However my problem isn't exactly same as I find. All sound is on and volume is up. I also know this since it does ring some time...
Now on the dialer pad on the # key there is a icon looks kinda like a speaker with a line through it. I can't remove it, what is it. Even though it is there the phone will still ring sometime.
From what I read I might have a software problem. Can I put the KIT-KAT on and perhaps solve the problem
Any help appreciated.
I posted this on the incorrect form a couple days with no answers. Probably because post was wrong forum.

Hi,
My wife and mom both have new Galaxy Ace 4 Lite G313ML's; they're both new and unlocked. Most of the time when they make calls, the recipient hears repetitive beeping continuously when they're not talking. Sometimes after about a minute of being in the call, it stops. I think that after it stops, if they make a call again soon after, it is still gone. Both of them are on Straight Talk (on AT&T's network).
The beeping is not every few seconds or every minute; it occurs continuously while they're not talking (but it's still individual beeps, not a continuous tone).
I tried disabling various things that could be related to notifications or anything network-related, but I wasn't able to get rid of it. I thought that turning off Wi-Fi made a difference at first, but since then it has continued to happen with Wi-Fi off.
Has anyone experienced this problem before, or does anyone have any suggestions for was to fix or work around it?
Thanks!
