Hello,
i have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and lost some photos from the internal SD-Card. How can i mount the internal sd-card as UMS and not with MTP. The reason for that is, the recoverytools need a driveletter to search for lost files. The phone is connected with MTP. Can you help me please?
Thanks in advance

Hey guys, I know this has nothing to do with the vibrant but I've searched everywhere and I can't find any answers. I'm trying to mount my friend's blackberry 8350 to my computer but I can only view the external SD card. Is there a way to view the internal as a mass media storage that isn't just recognized through the blackberry desktop software.
I have accidently formatted interal storage (SD Card) while connecting external microsd. is there any way i can restore my data back?
It's possible if you haven't written anything new to the card. You'll need to get a sdcard adapter for you computer and download data recovery software. I haven't done this in quite some time so I don't know what the best software is but a quick Google will help you out I'm sure

Now that s3 does not have Mass Storage option, what is the best way to Synchronize Files in a folder on DESKTOP with S3 storage and SD card!
it is always possible to remove the SD card and put in an adapter but things would be easier with Mass Storage and wouldnt be practical to always remove the SD ..
File Sync. solutions like Vice Versa cant read MTP folder....
Thanks....
I just flashed a new ROM on my galaxy S2 GT-I9100... But the USB storage is not mounting. I have inserted an SD card ( 2GB ) .. But instead of showing the SD card in the external storage, it is showing it in the internal storage. My 16GB internal storage is gone.. How can I mount my SD card to external storage and get back my internal 16GB Storage.... ????

The sd card is mounted as a folder and its shown as a folder in internal memory (that aint a problem since if you copy anything into that folder you are copying into the sd card) , and if you are saying that only the sd card is getting mounted and being used instead of internal memory enable root access for aps and adb in settings - developer options, this will mount internal as /mnt/eMMc and if you want to change the default storage go to storage settings press settings button and change from storage configuration, and please include more information like rom type, os version and many other relevant information if you want people to help.

Hello..
I deleted a folder in my picture gallery which I want to recover but I am unable. I don't have an external memory, I am only using the internal memory of the S3. My phone is visible but like phone (GT-I9300) not am external drive.
How to recover them back?
Also, I read about USB debugging, what is this? I didnt find any option about USB in the S3.

I don't think so it is possible to get them back. However, you can try some recovery software tools like Recuva
search for undelete apps in the market, or use recuva with a card reader
Both is not possible.
The internal storage is a shared EXT4 filesystem partition between the phone's storage and the internal sdcard.
So it's not possible to mount it or access the filesystem's blocks for data recovery.
Sorry
disk digger helped me.
