Hello,
I can see that some widgets and skins are removed (by HTC) in the Desire X.
I have another phone HTC Desire S rooted and has a custom ROM installed, I pulled the Calculator Widget apk file and copied it to the memory card of the Desire X but it cannot be installed.
The Desire X is rooted and the bootloader is unlocked, so do I have to flash the deodex one in order to install those widgets I want?

Flash it. The HTC official widget may not allow custom installation

I have a rooted HTC Desire C and I wanted to change the font of my phone with Rom Toolbox Pro, the app ask me the reboot of my phone, then the phone stay blocked on the HTC Logo, I have access to the recovery menu, I have ever done a factory reset but it doesn't change anything. I have downloaded the official HTC Rom of my phone at this adress
I don't know how to install it.

Hey guyz i tried to install busybox versions 1.20.2 , 1.20.1 , 1.19.4 but all of them says installation failed i tried to change location but no success help please...?

How did you install it? Busybox installer, flashable zip?

You can only install it via recovery, because on Android /system is locken to ro (read only), this is beacause S-On.
Jann F is right, without s-off isn't possible
The easiest way is to Flash it in recovery or to Flash a customrom with busybox inside

Ask me what you think its important because I only can tell that I am on JB HBOOT and when I try to install any other ROM that is not made by ckpv5 it says Installation aborted! (PA, Non sense revolution, Sense revolution, Unofficial AOKP) Every time I flash boot.img as it says in the OP, changing updater script and etc. I use fixed recovery for JB HBOOT by atis112

Happens to me too, but my problem is that roms flash but when I reboot, I'm on stock.

I Have Stock Rom 4.1.1 and I Want To Flash Custom Rom On My Desire X because Jelly Been ROM is very bad and slowly
And I do not know what is the best rom for me device

There is no best Rom. Just try some of them and keep the one that matches your preferences.

Stock is the most stable. For jb.
In ics, you have choice of a few roms. Pick yourself.

try stock like nexus said but if you need a custom then myonedx+ (sence lite) or mysencedx+ (sence full) theyre best modded custom jb roms for now

Hey guys, I had rooted my HTC desire X using a friends laptop originally as mine was defunct at that time, but now I wanna go back to stock and install TWRP and all and now that I want to do it through my own laptop it doesn't read my phone, what all do I need to get the fastboot commands up and running again.
