Anxiously waiting for mine to change from processing to shipped. Premier Chat Agent said it will be shipped today and delivered tomorrow, but I am getting skeptical.
Anyone's order changed to shipped yet? If so, what time did you place your preorder?

I heard from 1 person in Seattle, claiming he received his late last night. I recall from the 900 ship, my device was half way here before I received a shipping notification.
I've never had any shipping issues with AT&T. For me, when they say it will be there....its always been.
Mine says the 9th....I'm pretty much satisfied that it will be.

That has been my experience in the past when I have ordered phones direct from ATT, but in the past 3 years or so, I have bought mine from Amazon, Dell, or in the stores. Glad to hear this hasn't changed!

Same boat as you....i hate dealing with the online and or phone folks....the only reason i didn't just go pick one up from store is because i talked them into giving me an early upgrade on the phone through the 1800 number

my order got cancelled this morning for no apparent reason, so i went to the at&t store by my work place. there's a line, but most people are there for the note 2, and only a hand full are for lumia 920. grabbed my new lumia 920 in less than 10 minutes, although they do not have wireless charging pad in stock
I guess I have no choice but to wait if I want Cyan since it is online only....still no shipping confirmation.

finally got shipping confirmation for Tuesday delivery.
Ordered the red at 4PM EST on the 7th, and I'm still showing as processing. Called AT&T and they told me it's "at least" a 7 day backorder. Wonderful...

Phone arrived today, almost at the end of the window that FedEx estimated it'd be delivered.

First thing Wednesday I went to the local AT&T store and ordered the black 920 to be shipped to my home, The salesperson was familiar with but unsure if I was getting the charging base offer. Thursday I received a USPS shipping confirmation for the phone item 6027A as well as one for a "Various SIM" item 72290. Friday morning the phone was in the store and the shipping confirmation showed Memphis USPS departure that day, Friday.
I assume that I am not getting the charging pad as others have said it shipped separately and it is not on the shipment notification. Item 72290 is an actual micro SIM SKU.
My previous 900 came via FedEx on a Saturday before the phone was in store Monday.

Seriously, I have been a loyal AT&T customer for OVER 10 years, with 5 phone lines and 1 data only line (paying almost $400/mo) and this time, I almost told then to "GO F*** OFF!!"
Back story: First, the news that the 920 was releasing was released in September. In October, we found out that AT&T was able to get an exclusive for 6 months on the device. We also had the WP8 release event from Microsoft. November, AT&T FINALLY releases pricing for the 920 and a release date. No news on Pre-Order availability until it was a few days from release date.
Now, AT&T did such a HORRIBLE job on educating their own customer service reps, that I almost just gave up.
1. I tried to pre-order online, but since I have a corporate discount on my account, I had to go through their Enterprise Portal and pre-order was blanked out so I could no do it.
2. I thought I would be sly and order it by phone. Everything went well until the rep told me it was $199.99... I choked and told her "No Thanks"!
3. I went into the store when it opened (Wed Nov 7). Rep there didn't even know pre-orders were being accepted but after much assuring by me and looking in her computer, she started my order. After finishing she GUARANTEED me it would arrive by Friday, that is what the computer was telling her.
Friday comes and my phone is still in "Processing" state. I called to get an update and I was told it was being processed and would ship soon. In other words, she had no freaking clue.
I bash AT&T on FB and get a text from a rep from my store asking me what's up. We text for a while and come to find out that it may take a week or more for my phone to ship. The original rep should have told me that, but no, set my expectations really high to get smashed.
After looking over my order some more, he finds out that my free charging pad was not added to my order, so now I have to go BACK and get that fixed.
To make it worse, the availability of the phone in AT&T stores has been lackluster at best. I'm talking most only are getting 3 devices in Black, Red and/or White for sale. All other colors have to be ordered.
Oh, they are not even letting people in line waiting to get one know that they are out of stock, instead, they are letting them stay there waiting for an hour+ at a time to tell them they have none, but then try to sell them on a S3, Note 2 or an iPhone 5.
So, where did AT&T drop the ball? Hell, if you read up and also what others around the country have been saying, they pretty much dropped it everywhere they could, and even in some placed you didn't think they could!
I'm going to wait out for my Yellow 920. I am going to get over all this eventually, but all I can tell you know is, if I ever go to pre-order a phone from AT&T and am told it will arrive on launch date, it will be in writing and someone will pay for it if it falls through.
If you plan to go to a store and wait in a "line" for this phone, just go up and ask over someone shoulder to see if they even have one.
Agreed. I preordered my red 920 on the 7th, was guaranteed that it would arrive by the 9th. Now being told it won't even ship for another "week or two". Being told that it was first come first serve, but I know people who preordered on the 8th received their phones on the 9th as promised. Very annoyed by all of this, honestly.
I learned a long time ago not to preorder from AT&T except in store. I have yet to in the stores on morning/mid day or even early afternoon of a release day device and not be able to get one. Now I live in Maine so obviously that is a lot easier than if you live in a big city or what not.
2 Stores near me got plenty of Note II's, 8X's and 920's. The one I chose to go to had the 10 black 920s, 10 white, and 5 red. No Yellow or Cyan.
The last time I preordered online I got my phone about a week after release, even though the devices were in stock at the store.
I preordered both the iPhone 3gs and 4 in store and they were both there release morning.

I preordered in store early Wednesday and am still waiting, so this is no sure fix. I also am not getting the charger and will have to return to the store to argue about it. I did have the option of shipping the phone to the store, which considering the store had it in stock on Friday would have been a better idea this time since even if my phone wasn't there I would have just taken one of the ones they had. As preordered Lumia 900s that were shipped directly arrived before the models in store, how would you have guessed? Certainly AT&T botched this release in the US.
Damn unfortunate . I ordered a 920 Cyan thru Att premier on Nov 8 and got it today Nov 10. They shipped it overnight instead of 2 day :good:

The bigger question is why in the name off all things good and holy are you paying AT&T so much money? Switch to Straight Talk and pay half of that for four lines, and that includes all-you-can-eat minutes/text/data?
I'm confused, why are you paying so much??
My family plan with 5 lines and 4 out of the 5 have 3GB data and we're only paying $250 a month.
AT&T stores are having issues with the amount of L920 they are getting in stores. The store I went to only had 1 nokia in stock which was in black. Couple other stores in the area had maybe 2-3 in stock. Maybe none.
I avoided the whole pre-order nonsense and
took a chance that I would get the phone by getting in line at the store Friday morning. I have pre-ordered before and had a similar experience and will never do it again. All in all, I was able to get the phone Friday after waiting in line outside the store for 30 mins. and once I got inside the store, about an hour.

You guys had lines for the Nokia? That's weird, I've seen videos of people waiting in line and there's about 5-10 other people but I never seen any type of line at my AT&T store.

I got there at 8:30 and attached is a picture of the line at that time. This AT&T is across the road from Dell here in Austin so maybe that would explain it.

I have a similar story, but mine was worked out so I actually received my phone today via FedEx and I will never order another device where they have to deliver it. I went online after mid-night to try and order the device, but everything it kept trying to charge me an extra $150 for the charging plate and the $100 which was to drop the phone to $99. So I called ATT and the first rep couldn't tell what was going on and chalked it up to me being a corporate account user. So I had to call back the next day and waste another hour on the phone with a corporate rep who finally told me to just order it and they would credit it back after the fact - what part of stupid, do I look? So I wasted an hour on phone before work and called back at Lunch to find out that I had a code which showed my service plan wasn't compatible with the offer, and that they needed to update it. So I wait for a supervisor, explain my situation for the third or fourth time and get cut off before she can correct the freaking problem. I finally call back and speak to gentlemen by the name of Jose, who walks me to through, count them, 4 transfers before we get back into the corporate account section and a darling young lady sets the code correctly to reflect a current voice and data plan compatible with the offer and I immediately am able to order the phone on their website. This is the afternoon of the 7th of November. They process my order, it gets sent out to FedEx and of course, two day deliver doesn't mean a hill of beans to them. I see a status that it was picked up the morning of 8 November and estimated for delivery on 12 November. So I go through the entire weekend without a new toy to play with; but no biggie, I got the phone and charging plate after being told by ATT that the plate was on backorder. SO I AM NOW HAPPY. If I could only get my wireless hotspot, all would be golden.

I pay more because I am on an Enterprise Unlimited Data Plan (means no throttling, EVER) with all 5 lines and a few of the devices have insurance.
Strait Talk is out of the question because of the plan stipulations and level of service I would lose with those plans over the Enterprise service.
As for an update. Nope, still no phone and still no word on when it will ship.

Ok, when I pre-ordered, I ordered the phone and a charging STAND. What ended up happening is, they placed the order for my PHONE and a charging PAD (after corporate discount, it was $25). You ordered a color, didn't you. I did red and it took 7 days to ship. I heard yellows and cyans are 14 days or more to ship.
What was/is bad about AT&T, once in process, you can't cancel.

It depends on the rep if you can cancel. When it is shipped, you cannot. I pre-ordered a Charging Stand as well and when I got my phone (which was a Yellow that I ordered on Nov 7 and was in my hands on Nov 16th) I saw they had one in stock, so I had them cancel my order and picked it up in the store. I would have done it with the pad as well, but they did not have any. I found out later the reason mine didn't ship until the 14th is that only the Black, White and Red were released on the 9th, with the Cyan coming next (can't remember the date) and the Yellow was not release until the 14th which is when my yellow one shipped.

They also ordered my free charging plate. The whole preorder thing was a complete debacle especially if you are on the Premier side of AT&T.
Amazon has the Lumia 920 for $49 and rumors of a 99¢ Black Friday sale. They are backordered too, but I have more faith that my order won't fall into cyberspace and never get shipped. Ironically enough, I was able to order a second Lumia 920 through AT&T Premier system for the discounted price. I'll wait and see if they ever ship them.

I purchased the HTC One from Amazon.com on Monday with an expected delivery by Wednesday 5/22 at 8:00PM.
At 1PM today, Amazon updated the status to "Shipping Now" and has still been on that status through right now.
I have a trip leaving in the afternoon tomororw and I really want the phone before then.
Anyone who has bought from Amazon, can you tell me what time your package arrived and what state you are located in?
that depends. what speed shipping did you choose? i know that if you chose 2 day shipping, you should get it tomorrow. i live in CA and with 2 day shipping and with it coming from there (ive had stuff come from there) ive always had it by wednesday if i ordered on monday.

If it says it'll be there then it should be there. I have been using Amazon forever and then some and have never received a package later than estimated. More often then not my packages actually tend to show up 1 or 2 days early. Amazon is extremely reliable. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

It's shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver, says it will arrive by 8PM. I am wondering if there's any chance it would arrive around noon.
It depends on the route. Over the last few months , what time does ups drive in your neighborhood. So give or take 1 hour.

I called up sprint today to get a status check on my order. the order number i gave him from my receipt did not work, so i told him to look at my account he saw that i had pre ordered the phone, he let me know that since all pre orders come with gearVR my phone will be shipped on the 11th of March along with the gearVR to a sprint store. he said i should get a tracking number right before its going to get shipped
The rep I talked to on the 29th said the phones were getting shipped to them from ***** on the 4th and they would ship the 7th. FWIW. She also said the Gear VR was in stock and would ship the 29th LOL.

Just chatted with a rep online. He says that they are back-ordered, but they'll be getting more in over the weekend and have them out next week. I sort of feel like a whiner because i'm not getting my phone earlier than I expected it. This process is making me act like a child. HAHA. Information: for some reason sprint thinks that it's expectable to send out the phones that were purchased on 2/29 and 3/1 immediately , however who ever placed it on the 23rd we have to wait ! How does that make any since in hell??? I don't get it why are we the ones that are "backordered" ? We ordered nearly a week before them it's not fair that they are getting them , I complained and I suggest you do as well and let them know people are receiving it I received 30$ bill credit and a 30$ assessory because they agreeded and couldn't explain why mine wasn't sent even the person from the shipping department was confused !

Keep complaining over live chat and over the phone i was pissed too i don't get it ! Why does someone who ordered after mine is the one who gets it ??? it makes no sense to me, and even the order specialist (shipping department) didnt even understand. My assumptions is that sprint originally gave us the 3/7 deadline but if you noticed on 2/29 and 3/1 the statuses changed and the people who placed orders on those two days originally received a shorter shipping period . So to avoid any problems they just shipped it due to whatever your original shipping said to avoid any problems and we are the ones that got backordered.

Bingo.... I work 2nd shift and missed the cutoff (was it noon on March 1st? Original date Sprint said to get ur phone first?) Saw people were getting there phones early..ordered around 2pm... Got my black edge almost exactly 72 hours later...had no idea it was coming..never had a tracking number

I ordered on the 25th, same status changes on the order page as you guys, no shipping info yet. Regular s7. Seems like edge orders have shipped first, I think I will hop on chat later and complain a little and try to get some clarification.
The information I have from Vodafone regarding my order is that it will ship on the 21st of September. I'm guessing it will take a couple of days to get here.
Did everyone who pre-ordered get the same shipping date, or are they going to stagger the deliveries? Post your shipping experience and expected delivery dates.

That would be awesome but I doubt it will happen. If Vodafone and Samsung both have the same shipping date, it's likely that Samsung has instructed all carriers not to ship preorders until the 21st. Retailers like Kogan and Harvey Norman might not be under such a restriction. If anyone's ordered from a retailer, let us know your shipping date.
Vodafone sent me an SMS yesterday afternoon (14/9/17) saying that my order had progressed. When I clicked the order tracking link, their site said that it was being prepared for shipping.
I checked the order this morning and it says that it's being delivered. Should get a visit from Startrack with my Note 8 today! That's about a week earlier than expected! Nice work, Vodafone.

I received the same thing from vodafone. The first link takes me to the Vodafone website and shows "on it's way", but the actual consignment order on Startrack states an error with instructions to contact the service desk. Very unusual considering Vodafone told me they themselves would only receive the phone on the 21st of September.

Yeah, I got the same error when following the link to Startrack. Not sure what that's about but I assumed that might be due to the high volume of packages Vodafone must be sending out. If it doesn't arrive today, I'll update the thread.
Well, it's 4.45pm here and the phone still hasn't been delivered, so I'm guessing it's not coming until Monday. Bit disappointing as I was hoping to have the weekend to play with my new toy.
Even if it comes on Monday, that'll still be much earlier than I originally thought, so all good really.

I myself am expecting it on the 22nd at the earliest, but hopefully by the 26th.

The Startrack link now works and they estimate it will be delivered on the 21st. Seems like I got my hopes up for nothing and it won't actually be delivered early. Oh well.

It's worse than that. For my details on Startrack, it shows that the phone has already been picked up from Sydney and delivered to a local Depot only 20 minutes away from me. It seems they have orders to only deliver at a certain date (21st). It drives me up the wall that it will be just sitting on a shelf for four days at the depot until Thursday. Very frustrating.

I received an SMS from Startrack this morning saying that my phone will be delivered by COB today. The link still says the 21st for delivery but I'll keep you updated. If mine gets delivered today, yours might also find its way into your sweaty palm before you were expecting it.
My Note 8 just arrived!!!
Compared to my Note 3, this is one sexy device in the hand. Still setting up the account and sh*t so I can only comment on the physical attributes at this point.
If you're waiting for a Vodafone Note 8, it appears that they're not waiting until the 21st to send them out and the delivery estimates in both the Vodafone portal and Startrack can be disregarded as potentially inaccurate.
I got my note 8 from Vodafone delivered at 10.30 this morning by startrack.
Got mine at 4:30. I am a much happier man.
