I experienced this weird behavior on cm10 ROMs. Now I switched to omega Aopk and the problem is solved. Stable, fast and no battery issues.

It's something normal. The system is calibrating the battery, as Android calibrates the battery automatically. Nothing to worry about

Flickering screen whilst on charge

Recentley everytime I've left my phone on charge I've noticed it flickers the screen, also yesterday I rebooted it to find it wouldn't start I have a tempreture gauge and battery icon on boot,I figured it was my aftermarket battery so replaced the original, it booted fine, and this morning when I've gone to take it off charge I've noticed the screen is flickering again until I take it off charge
Any help

Freeze and Battery drain.

I had about 80% of battery life. Using Skype then phone went black and froze. Held down power button to restart and phone came back on but required a charge as the battery was down to 12%. Wtf happened? I did press data connection on while on wifi before it happened. Could that be the issue? Am running ICS Android 4.0.3.

slow charging (ac)

very slow charging I'm using omega v23..is there a fix?

Tweak
Tweak AC charging values using ExTweaks or equivalent. Extweaks works only with siyah kernel. Learn some tweaking tips from similar posts.
i have tweaked with siyah but still no use

Same problem here, nothing that I do resolved...
I'm on Omega v23 and phone charges slowly on the Sammy usb and plug charger supplied with the handset but charges in no time on my wife's S2 charger for some reason.
There'll be a geeky reason but I don't know it

should wait till next release of rom and see if it is fixed

This is a known issue in many of the Jelly Bean leaks coming out of Samsung (which Omega v23 is based on).
is the bug still there on omega v24??

What is the approx time that your phone takes to charge??
And what kind of graph does it form..
I just reverted to running check ROM V5+(phenomenal kernel) from fox hound (jelly Bean) on which even after charging for the whole night my phone would just charge like 30-45% with the stock charger...I am testing if the same would happen with ICS I would return to stock and get the charger replaced..
with siyah kernel i increased the charging power to 1200ma and on ics it would charge in 2-3hrs and on jb 5-6hrs

Standard AC charge from zero is 3 - 4 hours .

Interesting problem:battery

Hi friends, I have a big problem. When I shut down my s3 and open it after 8 hours, my battery discharged about % 12 -15 t,that is, my S3 is discharging when it shut down. Now i ama using Turkbey rom v17 but i have the same problem with 4.0.4 and 4.1.1
What can you say about my problem?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
It doesn't discharge when off, it's a problem with battery calibration when on. Try to shut it off and on immediately and you'll see the same.

Trust me, it really doesn't you said, it is discharging in time just like it is on

Wow, that's super weird... Is it possible that you have too many programs running in the background? I downloaded the battery saver app and it keeps my battery from going on the fritz, might help you too
İ have not a problem with my battery life only with discharging when off ...

tried charging it via usb port on a PC/Laptop?
I get 80% in like ~2h. I once activatet the fast charge script.but After i recognized the problem i wiped all and flashed other roms. Might be an Hardware Problem? Everything is working but drains too fast

I don't know autralian voltage, but 2 hs sound about right to me.
Try to find out what is that is draining your battery, what are you doing diffrently since you got there.
Try pluggin it to the pc/laptop, let it juice up and then see if it drops like when charged via AC.
I didnt change anything. Is it possible hat somethings wrong with the Hardware? I got 50 % usage by the display. But i set it to very dark. I dont understand it: (

Try JuiceDefender app. Works very well for me!
I am using an AC switch that generates 230 Volts out of the 12 Volts cigarette thing from our car. Might it be that this is not working fine with my device?
