[Q] [ReVolt 2.7] Problem after flashing rom - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi to everybody, and sorry for my poor english.
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S II running ReVolt 2.6.
I got message for upgrade the rom to version 2.7. I follow the upgrade procedure found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28380395.
But when phone restart it doesn't recognize operator sim. It always reboot itself when I unlock it and put the pin code.
If I use phone with airplane mod all works fine.
Any suggestion?
Thank you in advance.

I heard using the phone sim lock was the problem, try removing that and start the phone and I joined on December 3rd, anyway please note that nobody is inclined to give you an answer, so there is no need for sarcasm.
Using GT - I9100
I thank those who give helpful comments
I expect the same from others.

Possible that you may have to unlock it again after you updated to the new jelly bean.
Also please post questions in the q and a thread for more detailed answers

[Q] Simlocked alter flashing I9100XWLS8 [SOLVED]

Hi,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 couple of years ago alone, without any operator.
It worked perfectly and I upgraded it number of times.
The penultimate time it was the 4.0.3
An hour ago, I did the migration to the 4.1.2 (I9100XWLS8_I9100FOPLS3_FOP) with Odin3-v1-1.85.
It worked perfectly and said the it was successful.
However, after booting, the Galaxy S2 asks for a code to unlock the network ("code de déverouillage réseau").
I typed-in the PUK code given by the operator, but the phone told me it's a wrong one.
I'm used to upgrading Samsung phones (S1, S2 and S3), but its ths first time I have this problem.
Can anybody helps me?
Thanks.

[Q] No reception/service on SGSII on beanstalk 4.4.2

Hi All!
sorry if this thread is a repeat of another somewhere else on the interwebs, but after thorough searching for a few days I could not find a solution or even a similar problem.
(oh and sorry if my question is a little weirdly-put, an xda newb in the flesh, and my first post :fingers-crossed: )
In brief, I had recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 from overseas, but as i was overseas I had no sim card and the phone was in aeroplane mode for about a month and a half. while overseas I had flashed many kernels and ROMs, but when I arrived home a few days ago, I had realised my phone wasn't receiving service or reception. at the time I was running a carbon ROM nightly (android 4.3.1), now I have switched over to beanstalk 4.4.2, and I am receiving the same issue, and when I try to flash a different modem/radio in CWM, it always appears with either "error with zip" or "status 7".
When I type *#*#4643#*#* and try to turn the radio on and off, the radio does not turn on or off!
Also; sometimes after boot the carrier name would show up as "YES OPTUS" but no reception, and when I try to make calls its either "please "Turn aeroplane mode off" or "Network is unavailable"
I have changed my sim card with a new one and had fully recharged it too, but on other phones it works, on mine it does not.
so my questions are:
1) What would be the cause of the issue?
2) What would be the best way to solve it?
3) Could it be because i bought it from another country?
4) Could it be a hardware problem?
Phone Specs:
BaseBand version : I9100XXLPW
Android Version : 4.4.2
CWM : v6.0.4.5
Beanstalk Version : Beanstalk-4.4.200-20131222-i9100
Thanks in advance for anyone with any help !!!
And sorry again for the newbiness...this is my first post in my life so you may understand the confusion
Good Day!

Sorry had to explain that of course.
Go to settings - about phone - status and look for IMEI.
If it's empty or showing 004999010640000 it's wrong and restore your EFS back-up or go to the thread to try recover your IMEI and hope it helps.

Official firmware Post 2 is the guide and post 3 are the official firmwares. Look what firmware you need and google for a download link.
You do all the steps before flashing a new rom? Wiping and formatting data, caches and system?

You have 2 options depending on your willingness to unlock. UNLOCK VOIDS WARRANTY AND nobody but YOU will be responsible for bricked device, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
1) If you unlock then you can try custom software such as Carbon, AOSP etc or you can try to factory reset your phone to see if it works.
2) If you don't, the best you can do is factory reset your phone and hope it works.

i dont think the CID is affected by ROMS, as it stands for Carrier ID (say at&t or EE)
and what is boot flasher? just use a cmd adb command line
