I have made this ROM Compitable with nAa14 with awesome performance..My first ROM was GingerSony for shakira ( XPERIA X8 ) 2nd was for mimmi ( X10 mini pro ) so i made it for x10 mini ( robyn ) too should we start the fun?? Pretty much everything is working.
Reporting Bugs:
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running custom kernel, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
Please use the project's tracker for reporting bugs. Please file them properly following the template or they will be discarded.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow.
Requirements:
A X10 mini device
CWM Recovery
Unlocked bootloader
Latest nAa kernel
Download Rom , and latest kernel (nAa)
Flash kernel using flashtool
Boot into CWM
Wipe Data
Flash the ROM
Reboot and Enjoy!

After first installation, it may be a bit lag..The lag will gone and performance will automatically increase after 10min!
Please make sure you followed the above steps before reporting any issues, especially 'wipe data/factory reset'
If you're having trouble booting while using nAakernel, please follow these steps
1.Turn off your phone
2.Remove the SDcard
3.Turn on your phone without the SDcard
4.After successfully booted into the ROM, insert your SDcard!
If you having bugs on Fonts ( or if you dont like it ) you can flash thisHOTFIX
If you have battery drain issue, try this following:
Generally, I usually get 2-3 days out of a charge (give or take depending on usage).
Clear battery stats in recovery
Don't set brightness too high
Turn off Wifi, 2G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use!
Don't install too many unused apps ( install needed apps )
Freeze unused services like (DSP Manager, Maps, Facebook, Music)

1. You are not allowed to soft-mod this ROM. Why ? Read this. Since I started developing this ROM! and optimized parts of the ROM, I know each and every component of it, which means I'll know if someone has illegally based their ROM on mine.

Our fun continues, from Froyo, passed Gingerbread, and now to Ice Cream Sandwich...
Many of you may know, I have been away for quite a while. I've been quite busy with my personal life. My baby is now a little bigger, and there's less stress for me. I suddenly found some free time during weekends.
So, here it is, the third ROM series, "IScreamDX"... I believe many of you have screamed "DX!!!" when first seeing this thread, it worths its name. And also the pronounciation is similar to Ice Cream Sandwich Like previously with FroyoBread and GingerDX, our main goal is to have a fast, smooth and lightweight CM9 based ROM with some special features.
This series is developed, tested and released by TeamFun (doixanh, B.Jay, eagleeyetom and djnilse). Basically it's doixanh + Team GingerDX.
I have to take several lib/configuration files from MiniCM9. Approved by nobodyAtall. Thanks a lot, man.

All versions will preserve your DATA partition. You don't need to worry about your data. However, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (but optional) to make a full wipe after flashing (step 4).

4. If you have battery drain, try the following:
Clear battery stats in recovery.
Freeze unused services (like Email, DSP Manager, Maps). This is important.
Turn OFF 'Allow mock locations'.
Don't set brightness too high.
Don't install too many unused apps.
Turn OFF WiFi, 2G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use.
Reboot after you listen to music. Music service caused battery drain (in the past).
Generally, we usually get 2-3 days out of a charge (give or take depending on usage).
5. If you still have battery drain after following Step 4, try:
Full wipe in recovery, re-install IScreamDX.
Use Stock ROM for several days to see if the battery problem is caused by IScreamDX or not.
If it doesn't drain, try installing one of your apps, test battery for a day, install another one, and test.
and so on...
That way you will know what's the cause of your battery drain.

It's on our list to try and make it work on Stock.
For that to happen we, however, need to write quite a few things from scratch and also find a way to make the ICS Adreno libs working with Stock.

Since you can't upgrade the hardware of the X8 ... I think you have to stick to the hardware specs the X8 give you.
APP2SD is not enabled by default? After downloading some apps i was about to move them to SD Card but the button is disabled ?

i think that the problem is that phone doesn't recognize the sim card (it says sim card isn't inserted) - this bug was presented in first MiniCM9 rom too, there was a simple hotfix for it
edit: here is the hotfix, can somebody try if it works?

Many people have pestered me to do something other than Gingerbread. So here it is . Like GingerZaraki, ICZaraki is my own ROM built from clean CM9 sources plus nAa's MiniCM9 sources to make it more compatible with our tiny X8's. I'm still trying to get used to ICS/CM9 compared to GB/CM7 so please be patient . As always, the goal of this ROM is to have an extremely lightweight, fully functional, performance driven ROM running the latest CM9 sources with some special features . I know many of you will be thinking why ICS over JB, right ? Well JB is still a train wreck to be used as a daily IMO plus ICS still has a lot of hidden potential

DOWNLOAD ICZARAKI V01
Please DO NOT MIRROR ! PM me if you want a Mirror and I will make one !
Instructions :
1. Download the ROM
2. Place in in your SD Card
3. Flash nAa-04-ics
4. Reboot into CWM, full wipe, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and wipe battery stats
5. Flash the ROM
6. Reboot and enjoy
NOTE :
1. This ROM will only work with nAa's ICS kernel. Do not pester me if you decide to pull some smartass stunt and use another kernel.
2. You do not need to flash any Google Apps. It's already included in the ROM.
3. During an update, there's no need to full wipe. Each update will preserve your data.
Battery Drain : So far, I have not experianced any battery drain and I usually get 1 day + of battery life with really heavy use. If you are having battery drain, try this
Charge your phone up to 100%
Go to CWM Recovery with the charger still plugged in and wipe battery stats and dalvik cahce
Reboot and you will notice the 100% battery has dropped to about 96%. Let it charge till 100% again
When it displays 'Charged', pull out the charger and lave the phone alone for about 5 minutes.
Use the phone like normal and make sure you drain it to 0% before charging in the future (let the phone die out by itself when it's 0%)
Charge it to 100% again and repeat step 4 again.
Hopefully that would have fixed your battery drain.
NOTE : It is advised to follow those steps especially if you're coming from another ROM

Tips for Better/Faster Performance
1. Overclock, as always my values, which I think should be ok for most is Min CPU = 245mhz, Max CPU = 729mhz/748mhz
2. Enable zRam (either 18% or 26%).
3. Enable KSM.
4. Disable CPU Rendering (may decrease Antutu Scores and bla bla bla)
5. Delete system apps that you don't use or think you could substitute with something better from the Play Store
6. Don't bloat your system with useless apps.
7. Create and use a Swap Partition if you have a fast SD Card (IMO, class 6 and above)
8. Use any tweaks, mods, apps that you think may help. P.S. If something goes wrong or some bug is created via these tweaks and etc, please don't report them here.
9. Use This MOD by CnC ROCK. It should provide some free memory for those of you obsessed with free momory on ICS ROMS
Note : These are my and others personal recommendations for a better experience on ICZaraki. The fun part about Android is you can conduct multiple trial and errors to venture out and discover a totally new performance tweak. That's why I urge many to try and report if they make a breakthrough. I'll gladly add it to this post. However, they must be proven to work (at least 2-3 people who agree they work) and they mustn't f*ck up the ROM

Thats is Jellybean a.k.a JellySony, My previous rom was GingerSony!! as you know the name is same..So CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway. This ROM is made for the SEMC msm7x27 devices..And yes..we will release nightly until this ROM has reached till the end,Now we should start! Just amazing, perfectly smooth so you should have it now, right?

If you have battery drain issue, try this following:
Generally, I usually get 2-3 days out of a charge (give or take depending on usage).
Clear battery stats in recovery
Don't set brightness too high
Turn off Wifi, 2G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use!
Don't install too many unused apps ( install needed apps )
Freeze unused services like (DSP Manager, Maps, Facebook, Music)

The sound is the one thing that is messing all roms and no one is beng able to fix it, and even mporting some files from the ics working version the sound is still the same so i think that for now no one is able to do it unless someone Completes the WIP library :S, and like you know music is a very important thing in a rom, for now i'll be using your gingersony . If this rom is almost the same as others ( even if it is better in performance and stuff ), i think the only bugs would be the radio by bluettoth, sound volume/quality, distorted letters/numbers in some places like the status bar, and maybe the keyboard not working properly if you don't import the fix for it. I think that is it for now.

I almost forgot, yesterday i give a try on porting roms, i tested to combine gingersony with arc mini and the rom had 11mb less in winrar and it was working xD, it was just an experience for fun and i am now back to your gingersony original rom xD. But my question is: can i port mini x10 roms to mini pro x10? or what kind of rom imports can i make? i wanted to try to make a stable rom myself 2 xD.

-Flash ICS .54 Stock ROM Even If YOU ARE ON ICS STOCK BASED ROMS
-Flash V6 AGAIN EVEN IF ALREADY ON V6 OR V9
-Download the V6 ROM(NEEDED TO FLASH V10)
AND HOTFIX V9 BEFORE READING FUTURE(STRICTLY)
DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT FLASHING THE ROM WITHOUT HOTFIX V10
-FLASH KERNEL IN V6 ROM ZIP
-Copy the V6 ROM,V10 to your phone's SD card
-Boot in recovery by pressing volume UP button continuously at the Sony Logo.
-Wipe cache, dalvik cache CWM
-FLASHING V6 ROM TAKES TIME DONT PANIC OR SHUTDOWN PHONE it takes 2 to 5 min
-FLASH V10 HOTFIX WITHOUT REBOOT
-FLASH Kernel Of Your Choice
-Wipe cache, dalvik cache CWM
-FIRST BOOT TAKES TIME DONT PANIC
-During setup it will ask to shutdown
-WHN IT ASKS TO SHUT DOWN DURING FIRST BOOT DO IT
-On restart finish the setup and keep the phone aside for 2 minutes so that all the modes and rom gets to settle and adjust itself
-IN SUPER USER apk is already present just keep the automatic reponse on prompt and then update binary
simple as that
-NOW FOLLOW INDIVIDUAL ADDONS INSTRUCTIONS AND FLASH THEM
DOWNLOAD ADDONS FROM POST 5
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS PROPERLY

FOR FASTEST ROM USE
Lagfree+SIO
AND KEEP STANDARD BACKGROUND LIMIT AND DONT TICK DONT KEEP ACTIVITIES
AND KEEP MAX PROCESS AT 2 or 3
For battery keep max clock at 800mhz and use minmax,conservative +Sio
By Testing I Found Out That switching off a core saves more battery than running at lower frequency with both the cores running
PHONE LOVING TIPS
1)Always restart phone once a day preferable while u take a shower so that u dont miss any action
2)Do not use ram tweakers or boosters as they eat more ram then they conserve
3)if you feel like battery drain is too much you can always use different frequencies and governors
4)then to if you are not satisfied use different kernel

1)when u want to shut down or reboot instead of using option
2)press and power button and vol up button till one vibration then it will reboot fast
3)if u want to shutdown press and hold the same buttons till u hear 3 vibrations

Go to /data/data and search for com.sonymobile.taskswitcher folder. Set permissions rwxrwxrwx (0777) do some changes in taskswitcher like add a small app and open it. Then reboot! It should work. Now you can change permissions back to rwxr-x--x (0751) and reboot

This ROM is much stable and smooth.It is very good for daily
use.No walkman fc,no keyboard fc.You cant expect more than this

Its the best combination of tweeks have seen so far.its super smooth. Walkman WORKS SUPER GOOD,but there is something weird with camera recording mode.now since,there are two camera( cybershot doesn't works ) and two gallery,could you just further suggest how can we remove either one of each.?
and your Cpu combination always amaze me,played most wanted by keeping max and min at 200 mgh.So please help asap,because rom is super good and would like to stick with it for a long time.
and those who have problem with the launcher,i think you should download some other launcher and i am preety damn sure you won't find a rom like with such tweeks.

What I can say... The rom and new kernel seems pretty good. Apps and games no longer closes unexpectedly, walkman doesn't stop playing(well, most of the time, far less then before) when I switch to other apps and setting saving is fixed(these two things is main bugs I wished to be fixed). I use lazy+sio as mentioned and battery draining isn't that high too. Will report again tommorow. If there is really problem with launcher, install some 3rd party launcher like Nova until this gets fixed.
this rom can be used as a daily rom as it is faster than ics and battery is also quite good
every jb lover will love this

Skernel JB 2.0 KERNEL IS USED
IT WORKS GREAT WITH THE ROM
BUILD PROP WILL TELL U ALL THATS PRESENT OR ABSENT
BUT I AM EXTREMELY SURE EVERYONE WILL LUV IT CAUSE ITS VRY SMOOTH AND EATS VERY LESS BATTERY THAN I EXPECTED

Well, munjeni his self said that the best governor for JB is interactive..
I'm using it and its way better than ondemand..
Also, ondemandex gives very good balance between performance and battery life..

I present to you my rom again, this time called "Blur CM11"
This name is launched when I was still Xperia X8. This ROM is something different than the others here.
Here I put mainly on the style, design and most of all performance.
Rom is devoid of unnecessary applications and are replaced by the so-called "must have" all this adds up to incredible stability.
A few weeks ago I started to slowly create just roms Series blur until today the completion of the project

Is the FXP and etc kernel is there are other options but the important thing is to do a full wipe
Factory Reset / Wipe date
Wipe cache
Advanced> wipe cache
Now Rom> instal zip from SD CARD
If you want ,you can instal GAPPS
Reboot and you're done

Turn off wifi,bluetooth and USE 2G instead of 3G !

[MAYBE HELP] 1. Charge phone up to 100%
Go to CWM and wipe battery stats
Reboot and charge up to 100% again because it will fall to 95% +/-

just freeze the musicfx using titanium backup
Fixed all later in next build hopefully.
NO ETA at all.

I used CM11 from FXP and it is bare minimum of apps
Second, what exactly are tweaks Crew blur and third, how do you optimized several system services and which one?

I refer to cmupdater.apk and related to such application.
As for the tweaks that we as a Crew blur use nly those selected, and use only what's in roms
Let's be honest I add only what you need and know what adds and what not no who add as much as possible and for this it is not.
What are the services that I also mean "services.jar" a few were excluded due to get a little more performance

You can add what you want just make sure that they are not "too old"
new and update GAPPS you can find it on CyanogenMod site
What about the issues from the CM11, the offline charge problem and no access to recovery from boot up (the only way is reboot to recovery from menu)?
Anyways it's always nice to see a new rom pop-up, especially from someone that is a known dev. Keep up the good work, cheers!
