Is anyone else having issues with getting notifications on Skype on their Lumia? 80% of the time I don't receive any notifications. I have validated that all notifications are turned on and that skype is enabled in background apps.
Ironically, skype doesn't work that great for me on Windows (desktop) 8 as well; I wonder if it's my account?

Hello everyone!
I'm running a GPRS connection with MSN messenger setted to play a certain sound when a message is received.
I leave the MSN and GPRS connection always on, except for the screen. When I receive a message and the screen
of the XDA is turned off, I receive a different brief sound (like a beep) instead of the sound i setted. How do I fix this?
Thank you,
Daniel
Maybe seem like a silly response, but have you tried changing the setting under notification sounds (Settings)? Have you got the latest update from Microsoft for Messenger?
Hi guys,
I am having issues with the notification LED.
1) Incoming msgs (mms, sms, Gmail) are being alerted, but emails gotten in the Email app, or Touchdown (I use Touchdown and not the Email app) are NOT.
2) Gmail alerts for incoming emails, up until I turn on the screen. Then, the LED stops flashing, mind you I didn't actually read the mail or cleared the notification.
I am very much use to LED notifications, and this is driving me mad
Tried Light Flow, but for some reason it does not work constantly well.
Anyone ??
Thanks.
Has anyone else had an issue with notifications, specifically voicemail and microsoft exchange emails not lighting up the LED? Phone calls and text messages appear to.

Hello !
Does anyone have problems with notifications? Example - not recieving any notification from messenger or whatsapp until I unlock screen, it is mostly happening while on mobile network, it looks like my service provider has some kind of issue with connection, something like there is no network when screen is off/locked. If I don't use phone for half hour, when I'm driving, sometimes I get all notifications at once, 10 messages on messenger, few on whatsapp and so on...
If this is only happening on my phone then it is probably related with my mobile network ( bonbon Croatia ). I don't know how to check where the problem is so I'm asking here to eliminate software problems.
One more question, messages from viber sometimes have notification sound and sometime don't, if phone is locked, screen does turn on but there is no sound, anyone having this issue ?
I don't know if it is just "circumstantial" in my case, but often when I unlock my phone, I will get a ton of notifications for emails all at once.
This does not (always) happen, but it is annoying when it occurs.
I think Oreo has come bugs in its creamy filling.
Dear all,
I'm currently running a stock S9+ on android pie, on the Virgin (VMNP using EE network) in the UK. I experience delays with WhatsApp and push gmail notifications very regularly.
From searching on the internet I have come across two common reasons. One of which suggests this is a Samsung One UI induced issue and a combination of Samsungs implementation of doze not working properly in the android Pie update.
The other reason suggests that Virgin is just a garbage network piggy backing on EE and they are throttling data based notifications for whatever reason?
Does anyone else have similar experiences to this and have you come across any possible solutions?
I have resorted to using Samsung email to solve the push notification problem, I just have it syncing every 15 mins which works perfectly fine and I actually prefer the app to Gmail. Battery impact is negledgable as well.
Any input here will be greatly received so thanks in advance!
