[Q] "Official" page Samsung Galaxy Note II Korean SHV-E250 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a xda-developers "Official" page Samsung Galaxy Note II for the Korean versions SHV-E250S\K\L?
It will be easy to exchange info\ideas\files if we do have one.

You'd go by model number, basically. Then maybe deal with radio issues if need be.
Example: my fiancee's Telus S2 is the same as the T-Mobile S2. But the S3's are a different story.

HDC Galaxy S3 Plus Support

Didn't see much support or talk of this Chinese Replica. Maybe a discussion can get start about the experiences with this device can be shared.

And s4 zoom c101??
good news. what about c101 ?
C101 or C1010 - no news about update, but maybe ? Who knows we have to wait
It'd be weird if we, who have C101, don't get the Kitkat update since it's the international version. If we do get Kitkat, hopefully it won't bring bugs to the phone lol.
anyone know when it will upgrade to kit kat?
I have the C105A on AT&T .. we haven't received or heard crap yet about Kit Kat on our devices !!

Me either. I check daily on my device, on Kies and Google. Nothing.
AT&T has never sent an OTA for the C105A. It's still on the original firmware from the factory. So I am not expecting any updates for the AT&T version, ever.
Still no word on when the S4 Zoom will get a 4.4 update. Haven't come across any leaks about this in the past month or 2.
I have the C101 and Im looking for the update 3 months ago with no luck.I gave up now.
I just received the kitkat update just now so it does exist
Sent from my SM-C105 using XDA Free mobile app
It exist but only for c105 model. no kitkat for c101
what succeeds if the ROM KitKat is installed on model 3G SM-C101?
There's nothing much different in the update. It's a little bit faster but other than that, it's the same

Are you on AT&T? Did you get this OTA or flash it?
I need at least 4.3 to make my future smartwatch work.

The screen shot says 105 so must be international or factory unlocked. The ATT version is the 105A so Im guessing it will still be a while before ATT get their hands on it and do what they want to before giving it to us. Im still waiting to update the wifes phone.
Have you rooted your KitKat Device?

Galaxy S3 – We have received this update from Samsung and after our rigorous testing, has been approved and passed to Samsung for release. We hope for this to begin pushing out to O2 handsets over the coming week or two (hopefully before the end of the month) so keep your eyes peeled on your update screen. We'll let you know if there are any unforeseeable issues or delays that crop up.

We already know that US S3 will get the new update

By what i have read.. Galaxy S3 (international variant) has been pulled out from kitkat update list

Honestly what interests me the most is the official kernel which should provide the official drivers so even if only the US variant gets the official update, shouldn't be that bad.

Not sure that would really help that much since the US variants use very different hardware (Qualcomm processor, Qualcomm Audio and Radio). It would only be useful if Samsung includes updated drivers for our international models.

Yeah.. I read the same somewhere else too...
Samsung says that it is because of the lack of RAM the international S3 has (only 1gb).
I don't know the real reason, though, as there have been many AOKP as well as AOSP for 4.4.2 and they are quite stable on S3.
Samsung Marketing reasons?
I guess... If at all the us variants gets the update.. With kernel source... developers can page it to the international varinats too

Yeah..lack of RAM because all **** preinstalated by samsung

Tmobile Galaxy s5 Roms vs General Galaxy 5 Roms

So Coming from the tmobile Galaxy 4 to the tmobile Galaxy 5 my question is will the s5 be the same as the 4 can we flash Roms from the General Galaxy 5 or only tmobile Roms are compatible ??? I know WIFI Calling won't work since their roms obiously don't have that built in ?? Voice over LTE ??? We will lose this also Correct ??? Will everything else work ? calls/messages/mms/etc etc I'm more than happy with my tmobile Rom at the moment works flawlessly just trying to have this as an information Thread ? for future reference and other people that may be wondering the same thing ????
The closest Galaxy S5 to the international one is the T-Mobile version G900T(basically the same device)
It's been said here that you can flash international on this device but you have to keep T-Mobile radio for LTE in the USA.
You'll loose Wi-Fi calling and HD voice for sure because those are not on the international roms.
I hope that helps.

Yup. Any TMO specific feature will be lost unless the dev has ported it over.
