[Q] Please Help stuck on htc logo screen - HTC Amaze 4G

can any one help me please. I was trying to restore my phone from CM9 back to nightmare sense 1.6 and I accidently flashed faux sense 4 kernel that wasn't compatible with my rom instead of the boot.img and now I'm stuck on the htc screen. my phone keeps shutting down and turning back on. the furthest it goes is the htc logo... plus I cant boot into recovery nor bootloader and fastboot. is there anyway I can get my phone back up and running? plus I'm currently S-On and every time I try to run adb it says "error: device not found"

Did you take the battery out then restart the phone hoding the volume down button down? This will get you to the bootloader so u can access recovery.

[Q] Borked Rogers Evo 3D Rom Flash

So I rooted and did the S-off goodies today and went to flash Leedroid rom through Rom Manager. I noticed CWM flash while I was in Rom Manager but didnt know the consequences. So I flashed and got stuck on the white HTC screen and it eventually truned off. So now I have a battery close to dead and a phone that wont charge while its off. When I can turn it on, HBOOT says no image and I cant get into recovery, it just hangs on white HTC screen. Where do I go from here? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

[Q] Bricked? : (

Soooo before the flame begins, yes i was stupid to do this so that is covered. Was curious today and never played with the app in question (chainfire 3D) and installed in my LTE. Little did I know this app doesn't work with ICS (so i read?..). Well I installed the driver that came with it and since after initial shutdown from installation, I can only get to my splash screen. I've tried recovery and fastboot combos and neither pass the splash screen >.< Anyone?
U try running the RUU?

Was thinking about trying that. Worried this may brick my secure element : S
Edit: tried the RUU (RUU_JEWEL_CL_ICS_40_Sprint_WWE_1.12.651.2_Radio_1.02.11.0423_2_NV_SPCS_2.28_003_release_257970_signed), got an unknown error. Attempted the error recovery method from RUU but was unable to get to the bootloader screen...****.
Gotta do it...

where did you get the 1.12.651.2
all i can find is 1.12.651.1
shipped-roms.com. I guess i could try the .1 version
when i try to run the .1 ruu, it shows im on 1.12.651.1_R2
Just tried the .1 RUU, got error [155]: UKNOWN ERROR again... gonna try the Recover option thru that..
edit* error 155 again after Recovery option success and RUU reflash :'(
edit* I'm not too familiar with ADB, but do you think I could get to my hboot/bootloader screen through it or perhaps Recovery in general?

But you did get to the splash screen and that's a sign of hope..this phone won't even do that. nothing at all screen dead, everything is dead including bootloader. :\
Shutdown the phone and boot into bootloader.
Option 1) do a factory reset and if it doesn't work then,
Option 2) select fastboot then ran Ruu.

There is no way to boot into bootloader or fastboot, whether through adb or the key combos :S Adb states device not found and the key combos only give me splash then a lightly lit black screen..

Are you positive about not able to boot into bootloader with key combo? Your phone has to pass bootloader before going to the splash screen.

So you tried booting as instructed as the above link?

Ive never really pressed the power button a second time after the initial let-off. I'll give it a shot when I get home, but I'm expecting the same results. Just FYI, I DO see the two Orange bars move on the splash screen (upper right) before it goes blank..

Sounds like a case of the looped boot screen

UPDATE! Phone was completely drained when i got home...plugged into charger, orange light came on! Was able to enter the bootloader through the key combo and successfully entered my TWRP to do a nand restore. Restore went well and am now running again! Brick fixed by draining battery!
Good to hear:good:. brick was fixed by draining battery :what: then why did you need to do a nand restore? Whatever worked for you
why i said it was fixed via drain was that the charge light finally came on after it died and was plugged in, therefore it allowed me to access bootloader which let me into recovery to restore my backed up clean system files. When the nand restore was completed i was actually able to pass my splash screen! : )

Thunderbolt will not boot past HTC Splash Screen

I was restarting my phone because the internet would weave in and out.
When the phone attempts to start up the HTC Splash screen will run for a short time before the phone will buzzes and the phone goes dark. The process repeats its self numerous times and will not load the phone. When trying to run Recovery or Factory reset the phone does the same thing. I can not even load a new rom onto the device. (Currently MikRunny v1.0.2)
Any ideas as to what may be the problem or solution?
Sounds like you are stuck in "boot loop." You mentioned recovery, are you talking about the recovery thru the bootloader or a custom recovery like Clockworkmod? It sounds like you need to fastboot. I think there is a sticky in the development section.

I am talking about recovery via bootloader trying to change
The phone will not connect to the computer. I plug in the USB cable and the phone starts doing its boot loop again, so I can not run adb.

Stuck in boot loop!

My brother has an un-rooted device, and he is stuck in a boot loop. He was sending a text message to one of his friends, and right away his phone cut off, and it boots into the sprint boot screen and then cuts off and then keeps doing it. Any ideas what happened, and how I can fix this?

Turn it on and at the HTC screen or a little before it hold vol- to force safemode. It might get the phone going, otherwise you might need to boot to bootloader and factory reset
Are there any other options?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
If the phone is stock then your only options are safemode, factory reset, or ruu. Even of you don't want a custom Rom or superuser privileges on the phone, its always good to atleast have custom recovery and a backup for situations like these

[Q] HTC one bricked. Please help.

Hello I believe my HTC one is bricked. I was changing my ROM, I have done it before but its been awhile so I did it wrong and bricked it. This is what I know.
When putting in the new ROM it showed an error and I realized I forgot to clear the data and cache. So I went back into my recovery to clear the cache and I did a factory reset.
Then it started to boot loop. It would boot to my boot screen, turn off, then boot up to my recovery, show the recovery's logo screen for a very short period then turn off and go back to the HTC boot screen.
I held down the power button and volume down and managed to get to my boot loader from there I did another factory reset because I thought it would go back to stock.
I attempted an RUU to no avail.
All of that got me to where I am now. I can boot to to my boot loader and recovery. I have full access of my teamwin recovery and my boot loader. My recovery says I have no OS every time I reboot. I am not in USB debugging mode and only have access to fastboot from my computer.
I really think I just need a nuclear option to set it back to. %100 stock using only fastboot. My last resort is going into the att store and play dumb.

you can boot to recovery
choose advanced/sideload
then from your pc put the rom you want to push to the phone in the adb/fastboot folder
then
adb devices
(verify you phone are detect)
adb sideload name_of_the_rom_file.zip
(Wait the file is transfered to phone and recovery flash)

Fixed. I went into the att store and a nice gentleman told me what he did. He relocked the boatloader and ran the HTC ruu

Welcome to XDA
posting your problem with all the needed information in a new thread would help.
when making your post be sure and include
whats on the bootloader screen
and a copy/paste of the results from fastboot getvar all
most likely your not s-off or your not on the correct version of TWRP
also in your new post add @clsA so i get the notification that you posted
