[Q] Help for clockworkmod install needed - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hello,
I just got my new phone, and are desperately trying to install a MIUI ROM (which i've used for about a year on my old HD2).
I own a XT910 GSM (UMTS) version, loaded with SPDREM_U_01.6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.6_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRICSRTFR_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot firmware (french)
Now my problem is that i cannot get Bootstrap nor RazrTouchBlack CWM recovery to work.
I always end up with a black screen after the first boot logo.
After having tried mattlgroeff's Droid Utility 1.82 for rooting, i tried RazrTouchBlack 5.8.4.5. After initial boot logo, i endup with a black screen. I've tried getting into recovery a couple of times without success.
After a while, i decided to fully reinstalled my phone with RSDLite 6.1.4 (version stated above).
I then tried rooting my phone with EPRJ_EasyRootICS_MultiOS_v1.5, and installed RazrBootStrap.apk. After initial boot logo, i endup with a black screen. I've also tried RazrBootStrap a couple of times, and RazrTouchBlack... without succes.
I read about Boot Manager but it seems it's really buggy with MIUI as for know.
Well, i don't really know what i'm doing wrong, i'm used to flash HTC / samsung devices... This is my first MOTOROLA but i don't think get the error.
Can anyone bring light on my problem ?
Thanks
EDIT: I also tried RazrICSBootStrap.apk... Same results.

Well... found the problem:
I've also played with boot menu manager 0.27. Told me " you don't have enough free space on /preinstall "
So i looked into /preinstall with "super manager" file manager, with root access, and show hidden files option.
I've deleted everything in that folder and tried boot menu again. Works !
After this, i've fully reinstalled my phone with RDS lite, then emptied the /preinstall folder again, installed ClockWorkMod Recovery 5.8.4.5... With SUCCESS !
Yeah. /preinstall folder seemed to make trouble, and doesn't get emptied even after a full wipe and RDS lite stock firmware reinstall...
Hopefully this might help out people in the same case.

[Q] Safe boot doesn't work after rooting

Following the excellent guide in this forum, I managed to install a new 2.2 image on to the Hero and play around with it. I wasn't happy with it and restored the original system, which worked just fine.
I looked around and found another image to play with and loaded it on to the SD car and wanted to reboot it into safe mode. That, however, failed.
All I can see ist the Hero logo and after that it simply displays a red warning sign without any further description and no way to interact with the phone other than removing the battery and restarting the phone.
The original software boots fine, but I have no idea how to get back to the safe boot options and install another image.
Any ideas?
What version of android did you restore to?
You will need to re root your handset using the suitable method, and reinstall your patched recovery.

[Q] Atrix 4G Help- Stuck on the Goapk Logo while loading CUSTOM ROM

So, I managed to brick my Atrix 4G. It was originally running on Gingerbread 2.3.6, but I wanted the 4.0, so I set about rooting it and everything, which, as you can see, backfired.
What I did was:
1. Root it using the pre-install method (No "One-Click"- I actually tried that method, but it didn't work for me; thus, I had to go about doing it manually)
2. Unlocked the Bootloader.
3. Tried to install ClockWorkMod Recovery.
4. Tried installing the Custom Rom 4.0. WHICH FAILED BADLY. My phone wouldn't start at all. I mean it would switch on, and I could see the "Unlocked" on the top left, but it wouldn't go further than that.
Also, I was wondering if my phone's really rooted? because, after unlocking my Bootloader, my Superuser app's icon disappeared. The ROM manager wouldn't even work. I would get an error stating that "An error occurred while attempting to run privileged command," but I went ahead anyway, using the "Press vol. button while switching on..." method. I then cleared every single thing- i.e. factory reset, clear cached, etc. Then, I tried loading the zipped custom ROM file on my SD card; everything looked fine, as if the files were correctly uploading- at last, it even said the whole process was done. But, switching on, and waiting and waiting led me to nowhere.
Today, I re-installed the stock 2.3.4, but I wanted a 2.3.6, so I did a software update, but now my phone is stuck on the goapk logo screen. I read somewhere that this is because the Bootloader is unlocked.
HOW DO I GO BACK? D:

[Q] xt910 soft bricked. Can't find the solution.

Hello everyone,
(Sorry for the upcoming wall of text)
Today I started the process to get CM11 on my phone. I was following all the instructions and somwhere along the way, during the install phase, the phone got soft bricked. Later, watching a video tutorial I realized that I should've installed CM11 in ROM slot 1 for the Razr xt910.
So I've spent all day trying to get out of this state without success. I have tried using RSD Lite with a couple of stock roms, including the one that was previously installed when bought. But I get "Failed to flash" almost instantly. Only when I previously clear the cache and the data, from the stock recovery menu, it gets to "step" 3 before failing.
I have also tried making it fastboot a recovery.img of ClockworkMod but it fails instantly.
EDIT: Just tried with mfastboot and same result.
The last thing tried was a "Xt910 Unbrick Utility". It's a .bat file that tries to replace the boot or refresh, not quite sure. The instructions are to wait till the process is done and then enter the recovery menu to install "update from external source".
Also read that getting into "Bp tools" should change something, tried it and still the same.
I couldn't find any other method and I have followed tutorials for the last 4 hours at least.
So please, if anyone could lend me a hand I'll love you forever.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Alcatel OneTouch 908(or Cosmote Move) - Bricked after flashing custom ROM

Hi, everyone! I'm new to this forum(so sorry if I post this in the wrong place), and I recently received an Cosmote Move(Alcatel OT-908 rebranded) from one of my friends. He said it belonged to his wife(she is a bit experienced in IT) but she bought herself a new phone so he gave me to find it a good use.
I turned the phone on, booted Android(after 5 minutes of showing me a blue, distorted and unrecognizable logo). The phone was slow, cluttered with tons of apps and almost unusable. I barely reached the settings, looked at the settings, and it had Android 2.2.3(the kernel & baseband info were empty). It was rooted and had custom recovery installed on it.
I wanted to install a new custom ROM on it, and as I am an CyanogenMod fan, looked for an unofficial CyanogenMod 7 ROM. After minutes of searching, I downloaded one from 4shared( big mistake, I know ), moved it to the SD card, and booted the recovery(CWM 5.0.2.8 - petite edition or something like that). I chose "Apply update from SD card" and selected the zip. It took 10 minutes to install, then something like this appeared: "CyanogenMod 7 LEWA", or something among those lines. I thought that was alright and I chose "Reboot system now". Then the phone was stuck in a boot loop, showing the distorted logo and rebooting again and again. The custom recovery combination(Power + Volume UP) didn't work anymore, so I couldn't do anything. I looked for some zips/images for fastbooting, but they didn't work or showed this: "Error: package has no android-info.txt or android-product.txt" so I gave up and searched the web for some tips, but none worked.
Has anyone here been into a similar situation and solved it? If yes, how?
Also, no BBCode, HTML or Markdown here on XDA?
I also forgot to tell you that the phone originally ran the stock Android 2.2 Froyo ROM and I tried to install CyanogenMod 7 (2.3 Gingerbread) on it, without installing the stock 2.3 first. That may be one of the reasons I can't do anything. I mean, it still turns on, but recovery is inaccessible and the ROM isn't working(distorted logo, then bootloop). Someone on AndroidForums told me to erase the kernel/boot partition and the recovery one and reflash them back. For the kernel I chose ChocolateKernel by cheqolada(Linux 2.6.32.9-pref for 2.2) and for the recovery I used an .img file that I found here on XDA. Unfortunately, it didn't work at all. But at least, instead of that distortion, now I get a white screen
Scatter files!?
New Update: I found an article deep here on XDA about a tool named SP FLASHTOOL by MediaTek(ARM arhitecture creator?) that can reflash the Alcatel OT-908, but it needs a scatter file. No idea what that is, but I'll do some research. In the meanwhile, if somebody has that file, please PM me or post it here.
Edit: I just looked up the term, and scatter files only work for MTK SoC phones, while the OT-908 has a Qualcomm one. Bad luck... :crying:
I am an idiot. On this phone, the recovery combination is Power+Home+Volume up, not Power+Vol up. I managed to flash a ROM from here and now everything is okay. I might make a tutorial on unbricking, ROMs and recovery once I can post links and stuff.

Save Files in Soft Brick and make it Boot again

I wanted to sign in to Snapchat but apparently, that doesn't work if you have root.
I then uninstalled the Xposed Framework and ignored it saying I should wipe dalvik cache (I now know that's stupid but I don't have a recovery or some option to do that rn)
Next, I went to SuperSu and did the full unroot.
After that I was told to reboot and now I'm stuck at the picture you always see before the bootanimation starts.
I'm looking for something like Titanium Back to get really everything saved and from there on make my phone boot again, stock rom is good enough.
I have access to a Windows PC which doesn't recognize my phone via USB, a big enough SD Card.
However, I don't have a custom recovery installed and when I try going to the stock recovery, it just says "No Command".
If I boot into fastboot, the phone acts as if everything was the way it should be while my PC still doesn't recognize it
Also, I can't remove the battery on this phone but making it go empty doesn't help either.
We´re talkting about my Umidigi Crystal 2/16 Version <-- The 2/16 is a different version!!
And it was running stock rom which was Android Nougat.
I´m not that experienced whith these things, you might have guessed it.
Thank you for any help though.
