I just got my One X+ and wondering a few things about it.
First why is the option to have vibration feedback on button push unavailable?
Second is there no transfer wizard or way I can transfer everything from my vivid to this phone?
Any help is always appreciated.

On my AT&T One X+ there is a setting for the vibration on the buttons. It's the last option under the sounds menu

The answer to your 1st question: because the option of ''energy economizer'' was activated, so deactivate it and you will find the vibration feedback and many other options in setting are available.
The answer to 2nd question: yes there is app in the mobile called "transfer" which is trans-mobiles transfer wizard by bluetooth but it will only transfer the contacts, calendar points, Internet favorites and may be another things ( I don't know ?).

A quick thanks is always greatly appreciated!
The vibration thing worked. It was because of the power saver option
However I don't see any transfer wizard. Although I have it set up now the way I like it. It's all good. Reminded me of the Inspire day's after flashing a new Rom. Thanks guys.

Is it it's own app? I have the AT&T version. I wonder if that's why it's left out because I can't find it anywhere.

Yes it is unbranded international hox+ and it is the htc own app, may be this is the problem

Probably is. AT&T loves to take stuff off phones so they can load it down with crap nobody ever uses. I don't know one person who uses any of these useless apps. Even the icons are annoying. I would have loved to get an unbranded unlocked version but the upgrade saved me a few hundred dollars so I am grateful for that.

If you unlocked the bootloader, apps will disappear.
I havent unlocked boatloader or anything like that yet.

So I'm getting the HOX+ today, and I wanna know the easiest possible way to transfer all my apps and data. Can I just backup w/ titanium on my current phone, install titanium on the X+, and copy/paste all the files in the TitaniumBackup folder over to the One X+ and restore from there? This would only be user apps, not system data. Thanks

My phone just started installing all my apps when I logged in. I think it is a feature of jellybean. As far s's data from games I would say use titanium backup and try to restore app data on new phone

Yeah when you go through the initial Setup.app there's an option to restore the phone from your Google account (AKA your apps purchased on the account). I really want to keep data, so is titanium the easiest way to go?

I'm assuming the process is the same, since I can't find any tutorials besides the all in one toolkit for the X+ :/

You must first unlock the bootloader and then...
If you've got windows then you've got it easy.

Ok, I found a guide... maybe u can answer this quick; are the HTC drivers for windows universal? If I've Installed them for my One X, will the same ones be suffice for the One X+?

I suppose so. They only say HTC and don't seem device specific.

Hello everyone! Has anyone gotten the lock screen effect that makes the phone look like an old tube tv turning off? I've seen that effect on some Android phones but this phone doesn't have that effect?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had it on my X10 and I'd like to have it on my new HOX+.
Might try themes and apps section where they care about that effect.... Or just search the forums....

alot of devs with all devices have had issues getting the CRT screen off/on animation working since JB. I think some Nexus devs have it working though.

Actually at least with sense, they haven't been able to implement it since ICS. They did something to prevent us from using it.
With aosp it works, it worked with jellybean on my one xl
Slithered from my HTC One X+
Thanks for the replies everyone looks like I'm going have to wait till Jellybean is available for AT&T HOX+. I tried to mess around with the framework-res.apk but the phone did nothing. That's if I did it right.

We don't seem to have a flashlight app installed on this phone. Does it only come on the international version, or do they not have it either? Where can we find one? I have one from my rezound rom, but there must be a more updated one around somewhere.
Blame att
On arhd Rom I have it again.

I use HD Widgets and one of their switches on a power board. Works better for me than taking the time to open an app,

I do not wish to impose on the devs as they are doing some great work for the ones who are not that inclined , one of which is me, but I would like to make a request of one for a mod if its possible. I have a GS4 and the HTC One, the GS 4 has an internal app that both the yahoo mail and gmail can be read from the one app, it gives notifications of both , I was wondering if its possible to come up with a similar app for the HTC one?
Doesn't the HTC mail app do that

Ok, after playing with it for a few minutes I see that it does do the same thing, I never used it as such and wouldn't have known about the GS4 app if a Factory rep hadn't told me in a store one day on a display. Seems that it does basically the same thing , able to read and notify of multiple emails at the same time.
Thanks guys. Learn something everyday here.
Hello,
My hox+ died and I got upgraded to one. I like it but there is one thing I'm missing, the beep notification sound I was using. There's a new one but it's not the same.
I was on viper xl atnt but I can't find the sound from the rom.
Is there someone who have it?
Thanks

NFC??? I only have a HTC One right now, the sound is from the HOX+ as a notification sound, it's even there in stock. There's no mp3/wav on the rom with it so even if I had the other phone, I don't know how I'll extract it.
I found it on the web, thanks
