Are there any fully functional Hybrid roms (ICS/JB) that have 3D working? I've searched all over and couldn't find any.
This should be in Q&A section

I just looked at your profile and I see that your viewing a thread called "how to delete a thread", I'm guessing that's because you just realized that you started a question thread in the development section, hehe. It's all good, it happens. Don't worry, you probably won't get flamed to badly.
To answer your question, I don't think any jb roms have fully functioning 3d. Not sure what you mean by hybrid but some ics roms have 3d.

Hi phly95, please remember to post any future questions in the Q&A section. This section is only for development.
Regarding your question, try this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1641115

Miui
Miui seems to really fit what I was looking for. It's almost flawless as a rom (more flawless than even stock!). If you are looking for something like Jellybean but you don't want all the bugs CDMA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1571021 GSM: http://www.miui.com/getrom.php?r=9 will fit all your needs. Sorry the GSM link is in Chineese but it's the only up-to-date version and the official website is Chinese.

is there any stable froyo and gingerbread for xperia x10?thx
Wrong section..either ask in Q&A or do some reading on your own
It depends on your definition of stable.
For Froyo, Zdzihu Beta 4 is very good.
For GB I have found TripNRavers MiUI 0.0.98+ to be very solid, great battery performance, but not feature complete yet (camera not working, work in progress)
Right now I use Jerpeleas CM7.0.2 GB, but I have had some restarts (WLOD). But I can live with them..
CM 6.1.3 wolfbreak

Yet you have greater than 10 posts, and are surely aware that posting in the Android development section is a no-no if you don't contribute anything to the development of specific software?
Thread closed. Please search.
I have been looking for MIUI rom without issues. (such as Wifi).
And I couldn't find. Could you suggest me a MIUI rom?

if you tell is if you have a neo or neo v we come further, and they are busy with it to most of here that makes miui, so be patient and take a look, and dont start a new thread please, just serach mate
You can find them in this section. The rom threads use to have chagelog - working - issue posts in the first pages. Please read the sticky threads and enjoy finding by yourself. Good search!
Hey everyone
I currently use CM9 and love the experience, however I want the stability and all the hardware to be working of stock.
My question is there a ROM out there which is built from stock, but has been converted to look exactly the same as AOSP /CM9?
Anything close?
Thanks !
I use WanamLite. Its based on Stock Samsung but pure ICS themed. I recomend it.

try foxhound. from reading that thread it is more or less has the AOSP feel. but next time ask in the right forum mate the Q&A section and also maybe it is best to search and find the one that you might think is appropriate cause there is no point having to wait for others to tell you

err...most of the roms in the android dev section are based on stock and are themed to look like aosp
Have you even bothered to look?
Read & search, this question is so trivial it's clear you've done neither

Folks, I am not a modder but I have been using MODs for quite sometime. This forum is intended for all newbies out there waiting for their questions to be answered from how-tos to why-nots. Please feel to raise your questions, I will try to answer all your questions.
Ok. First question.
Why do we need another thread for Q&A, when we already have STICKY thread in THIS section, with similar name, and even if we don't, this entire section is for Q&A's
Ok den i have a question can you suggest me best ics rom for neo v with locked bootloader & stock kernel.
But everything should be working there should be any bug.and that rom should be fast and tweaked.
Is ka21.1 ics a good rom?

Mayank,
Shardul Seth's ICS ROM is good to start with. I have tested all his previous versions and the current version too. The instructions are on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603919
He uses a slightly modded Stock Kernel which is smooth and has enough governors on it. If you are stuck in one of the insturctions, I can help you with that.

Reyearthlings,
It's a terrific ROM. It has it's own limits. krabappel2548 has added new Jellybeans addons in this MOD. If you have used ICS KA2x.x before, this would be a cake walk. I would suggest you to give it a try.

Madfysh,
I am no where near your experience at XDA. If you this is not worth it, I would delete the thread right away.
Thread closed, as it's A) A duplicate, and B) kind of redundant given we have a whole Q/A section.
MIUI4 ROM Support for LiveView
I loved the MIUIv4 rom !!!
Its damn Awesome !!!!!
But I couldn't get my LiveView to work in it(Not Completely).
I am able to pair with it but not able to get notifications (like an incoming call, missed call, or even read an SMS).
I used the one that comes with the AROMA installer.
Any ideas to get it to work ?
[Q&A]Thinking of putting [Q]/[q] in Your Title? Post All Questions/Problems Here!!
Welcome to the Q&A Thread for ALL Versions of the Samsung Galaxy Player!!
As some of you may know, there are many people who create new threads here and some of their issues can be resolved within two or three posts. The purpose of this thread is be able for people to post the problems that they are having with either installing a rom/kernel, or other GENERAL issues that people are experiencing with their devices.
NOTE: ALL ROM/KERNEL RELATED ISSUES ARE TO BE POSTED IN THE THREAD OF THE ROM/KERNEL. If you are NOT able to post in the dev section yet, please send me a PM. If you are NOT sure that your issue is ROM/KERNEL related, post here and we will tell you.
Requirements when posting here:
MOST IMPORTANT: Check this: Frequently Asked Questions - Samsung Galaxy Players to see if your question has already been answered.
What version of the Galaxy Player you have. (3.6, 4.0, 4.2, 5.0)
ROM name, and for ICS/JB, ROM versions/build date
Android Version
Kernel. If you have the standard kernel that the ROM installs, say "default"
Description of problem. What you did to arrive at problem
Any extra info that would be helpful
Thank you for posting here and not creating a new thread. Hoping to see a decrease in thread creations. This is also to consolidate all issues for ease of finding them.
Thanks to:
Zaclimon: for helping me come up with an idea as to reducing the number of threads being created.

OK people listen up, especially all of you that are new to this section of XDA.
This thread was made to prevent people from making so many threads and clogging up the general section. It was also made because we do not have a dedicated Q&A section.
So here is the story. after i created this thread, over the course of the next 2 days, at LEAST 4 threads were made with [Q] in the title. Then on top of it, most of them if not all, were solved within at page or 2. i have been telling people to post here, but apparently it is doing no good.
so here is the bottom line: If you are planning on posting a thread with a question and or plan on having "[Q]" in your title, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD, post HERE and do NOT create a new thread. thank you.
P.S. as a side note, i am trying to avoid having this stickied because for those of you that use the mobile XDA app, you cannot see stickied threads. if you use tapatalk you can though but XDA is free so i think more people use it. im giving it one more day before i request it to be stickied and thats it.

ya that is because when you mix all three roms together, they take up some decent ram because of all the different things that are available.
as for going back, download cm10.1 (if thats what you choose) flash rom and gapps --> wipe dalvik and cache --> reboot
better 10.1
turned to paranoidandroid and this much faster. when installing not probe. Now if you and this great. camera just does not work or something else?
Hi I have the player 4.2 US version running stock. I was just wondering... can you get the stock dialer on the device to make Google voice calls using sipdroid?

I don't know of a way to do so but I think sipdroid has its own dialer. Otherwise there are plenty of dialers in the google play store
