Logo.Jpg Draw Failed = YP-GS1 - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

Is there any Useful Information on here about this media player? I'm really stuck on here If someone can help me out. I flashed the pre-rooted rom and everything was fine, then since it's my buddies phone he wanted to see how the JB EU theme rom was like and so I flashed over with odin. Then he didn't like it because of the home button didn't work which i had warned before we even flashed. I flashed back to stock well i tried, Now I'm stuck on when I try to boot the device I get an error saying logo.jpg draw failed. Anyone Can please help me with this, I will gladly appreciate it. USA device by the way. I tried to use heimdall but it seems very complicated as I'm getting the liusb error and I tried everything from deleting - reinstalling drivers and using different usb ports. Nothing seems to work. Thanks.

[Q] SCH-I800 no video

I have tried so many guides and ROMs to no avail.
here is my issue.
I have a Galaxy SCH-I800 Verizon Tab
After unknowingly having a P1000 ROM downloaded i flashed My Tab, to no surprise it fails.
I have been trying to restore the factory Rom but everytime i boot depending on the rom selection i am using i either get,
Rom boots and i hear sound but no video is shown.
or
Rom boot loops and in the recover screen it show that it cannot mount /data or /sdcard (invalid argument)
How can i resolve this?
I was able to get video back by using a different zImage..
However i am still getting issues with it not being able to mount different areas of the system..
is this a PIT issue??
if so what one should i be using?
bump...
I still need help on this please.
I also have a VZW SCH-I800 and used CWM to "Flash a custom recovery image" with the intent on getting gingerbread on my tab. I followed the steps from the unlockr...which now my tab has CWM 3.0 and my camera doesn't work, my accelerometer doesn't respond when turning the device, my auto brightness doesn't work, and when i have new mail it doesn't show the number on the icon. (just what i have noticed so far.) Since I have CWM installed is it possible to flash a stock ROM, say from a ZIP file on the SD card? Or is it more complicated. As i said the ultimate goal was to get to Gingerbread, but I will now settle for a working stock ROM.
Help is much appreciated!
The same problem
I wante help.
I have the sch-i800 with this problem at boot, can be seen on youtube.
watch?v=SycgNS--By4 on youtube
Already tried the possible solutions presented. As well as all the ROMs I found for this product and nothing worked. someone help me?
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
Has this ever been answered anywhere or fixed? I did basically the exact opposite of this. I ended up following the instructions for a gsm tablet instead of the cdma tablet that I have:
Verizon Samsung 7 inch Tab
SCH-i800
SCHi800BKV
Not sure of the original firmware. When I registered though at Samsung, it said the manuafacturing date for this was in October of 2011
So I have tried using both heimdall and oden and I can't get anything to work. I can still get into download mode. Some of the flashes allow me to get into recovery mode. Sometimes, the Samsung comes up, gets blurry/scratchy and then the screen is blank. I am pretty sure I had the exact right stuff on the last one but it went to blurry mode.
I know that I ran a .pit file on this for a different tab (gt-p1000)... Could that be why none of my flashes are working?
Please any help would be grately appreciated.

[Q] Tried to flash firmware to debrand, phone won't boot. Advice?

Hi, I tried to use Odin3 to flash a generic EU firmware onto my S2 to remove the O2 branding following guides on this site (I didn't use a pit or try to re-partition or anything), and Odin freezes every time at cache.img. Despite leaving it on for some time, there is no progress, and when I try to boot the phone normally or in recovery mode, I get an image on a black screen with a yellow triangle between a phone and a computer. I can still access download mode, but can't seem to flash anything. Can anyone help? I basically just got this phone and I would like to be able to use it. Help would be extremely appreciated, thanks!
have you tried re downloading the firmware? Maybe it got corrupted?
I have yes, in fact I've tried a few variations including the one I originally wanted to flash and the firmware the phone came with. I've also ensured nothing Kies-related is running.
Have you tried restaring your pc? That happened to me when i tried flashing my i9003 way back.. Was stuck on cache and sometimes flashing only got to 10%.. I restarted my pc and flashing went well..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I tried that also actually, multiple times, but still no luck! I'm concerned it might be the USB ports, as I've heard people recommend trying different ones. I've tried all the ones on the laptop I'm using for this, but I'll be trying a full desktop PC later and hopefully that will produce results. Thanks!
I'm still going to try other things in the meantime though!

[Q] odin stuck at nand write start / setup connection soft bricked??

Hi guys
I think i bricked my galaxy s3 (i9300)
my S3 was on android 4.1.2 official, but since the upgrade i noticed the charging problems many people had, with up to 6-7 hours to charnge fully with the original charger or more (the solution many sad was either to buy a direct charger, non usb, as for the S2 or turn back to its ICS 4.0.4..well at that moment i opted for getting back to ICS
But it seems with the new boot loader that Sammy introduced in the new software something went wrong when flashing the ICS firmware with the 3 Files (pda,modem.csc)..
It FAILED, i retried, then i got several times stuck and Nand Write Start or Setup Connection
Then i tried maybe flashing the firmware with a PIT file to repartition..the result was the same..
So in conclusion i think i made up a big mess in there...
At this moment my phone can only get in Download Mode with the 3 buttons combo (it also shows the counter etc), nothing more, it doesn't work at all..I' can't flash on it anything (except for the single PIT file) it's the only file that gets Successful installation in Odin, everything else gets stuck
(recovery, firmware..)
EDIT: after flashing the mx PIT file i have again the initian boot logo..but still get FAILED in flashing firmware process
HELP is MUCH appreciated! Thank you in advance!
I also have this problem, but mine happened when upgrading my rom (Foxhound). Can't enter recovery, only download mode works. Flashing back to stock has failed, I now want to try flashing the pit files.

please help

Before anyone says anything, sorry for another s2 brick post but I've searched like mad! Downloaded like mad n stayed up till 2 hours before work to sort this n nothing so far.
I rooted my s2 successfully and installed a working kernel. For some reason any ROM o tried failed at flashing, so I went back intoodin n installed a new kernel but my laptop froze n now I'm bricked. I've tried reinstalling the kernel that worked n no hope and tried maybe 10 different kernels n nothing worked. I read on a post to try installing new firmware, some work n some fail, some just go into boot loop n some come up firmware problem use kies. I've tried combinations of kernels n firmware but its not worked, sometimes the phone loads up to boot logo then just goes off.
I'm trying to download some files now but my stock ROM download keeps stopping, I've got the bootloader n kernel just the ROM is playing up.
The one click unbrick doesn't see my phone as mass storage so won't work. Kies won't connect. I can get into recovery and download
Anyone have files that will definitely work or any advice.....phone is s2 i9100 on o2 uk
1) Download the stock rom using another internet connection (I.E an internet cafe. Because flashing one is the only way you're fixing this).
2) There has been dozens of 'Odin won't work/PC & phone won't recognise each other' threads on here over the past month. In many of them, someone here has listed the troubleshooting steps you go thru when this happens. Find them. And try those steps. All of them. With multiple PC's if you need to. And keep trying them until it works.
Edit - Use a more descriptive title than 'Please help'. Many people here will automatically not even bother to read your thread by default, which may deny you the chance to fix your phone.

galaxy S2 strange problem

It's my beloved I9100P. Last night it strangely failed. I realised in the morning when the alarm didn't go off. The phone was switched off.
When I tried to switch on, it got stuck in boot loop. The carrier animation and samsung logo will keep repeating. So I thought I will go into recover mode and do a factory reset. Phone went into factory mode the first time. I thought let me do a restart from there, just to see what happens. At this point, I noticed a lot of red errors on recovery mode screen, most of which saying something like "unable to mount /cache". I restarted it, but unfortunately the phone again went into boot loop.
Now when I tried, it refused to go even to recovery mode. I tried several times, but every time it got stuck on Samsung Galaxy logo.
It went into download mode fine, so I thought I will flash Orange UK carrier ROM. I downloaded the ROM and tried flashing with ODIN. ODIN recognised the device, but the flashing failed with error "Complete (Write) operation failed".
I don't know what to do now, have exhausted all option that I knew.
Any help in reviving my phone please?
@kaushal101 Keep yourphone phone connected to your pc and keep it in download mode. Dont disconnect it it could turn into a hardbrick which you can't fix without jtag repair service.
What you could do is see or you have installled all drivers, kies is disabled, right odin version. Google the problem and you would probably find an answer fast. I hope this message isnt too late..

Interesting. After trying several things, I did unplugged it from the machine. It shows the upgrade failed warning message whenever I try to switch it on now, which was expected.
I can still go to download mode and restart the ODIN flashing original Orange firmware process, but it fails with the same error. The only difference is, the first time it failed on CACHE step. Now it is failing one step earlier, at NAND writing stage.
Is there any hope? I had kies disabled etc., but will give it another shot. My phone was accessible with kies and I could also upload my development APKs from Android studio. So I think drivers shouldn't be a problem.
@kaushal101 I dont really have much knowledge about the s2 anymore, so the only good thing I can suggest is to google the problem and get more people to your thread here to help you and or find other threads about the same thing.
It is good that your phone can still go into downloadmode, I think there is still hope to fix your phone

Thanks for keeping the hope alive!
Have followed XDA's S2-ODIN troubleshoot guide, with no luck so far. Tried different versions of ODIN, reinstalled USB drivers, made sure KIES is removed from processes etc. None has helped so far. I'll keep looking!

Did you tryed another stock rom version?
Try other usb cable.
Sounds weird but try to leave the battery out of your phone for like a couple minutes
Try other usb port.
Try other computer:silly:
These are the things I can think of atm.
Have tried other USB port. Have tried a different firmware.
Am going to try a different PC today, will also give different cable a shot. But the cable I'm using is Samsung official one which came with the phone. And I've been uploading APKs using this cable fine, so am quite sure the cable is fine. But still, will give it a shot. Thanks for replying
