Many devs are busy deving on ics & jb to our ace that too they are trying hard to have all the features working. The technology you are talking about is a hard seen dream...

True but with OMX working on ICS and close to be working in JB, we have almost fully working ICS and JB. We could try to do this for FUTURE ROMs

I haven't seen any videos of the technology you are talking about. Are there any hardware restrictions that our ace needs to overcome to have it working ?

If you refer to OMX, there are threads in xda for that.
If you refer to Qeexo, this is a very recent technology, I just saw in Engadget a few days ago.

No, I already know about OMX. I was asking about Qeexo. Anyways, by what it looks from the far, it still seems to impossible. Atleast for our ace. But let's hope the intelligent devs get this working some how !

I think it's quite fast to be honest. We had a ROM and root before the device was even released!
Saying that, I'm pleased with the speed and interface on the s3 as it is (for now), so finding little reason to install custom.
Once voodoo is enabled on a kernel I'll look at installing a custom one.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA
lols you call being rooted already even when the rooter didn't have the device slow?
you call having beta roms already floating around even when the device was just released slow?
the only time i'll say development is slow is if a certain gavin-phelan actually manages to develop something let's say the next decade for this sgs3.
come on you devs! where are your developments?!?!?! what's taking all of you so long?! it's so easy to develop something you know, even us random posters cand do it fast and easy!
you are all so ##$$&@*@ slow for gavin-phelan's sake!
very few devs would spend $700 for a device.

USA has different specs and this model is not going to get released here anyway. To the op, cm9 developers are working on this and aosp roms always take some time after release since they have to do some device specific tweaks. Right now most roms will be stock variants.

Sorry if someone else already asked for it but i read about an android version «Linaro» which doubles the performance of the phone. Here is a link http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/0...e-and-now-parts-of-it-are-being-added-to-cm9/

Fair enough
Btw still wondering why rom compiled with optimized toolchain can give massive perfomance boost while kernel in the other had doesnt make any much different no matter which toolchain, which optimize flag used. Theres even a thread by ezekeel complete with benchmark result and whatsnot, explaining that optimize toolchain for kernel is just a myth :/
