Liquid ICS is great and I love it, but any clock widget I install from Play store doesnt show up on the device. I scroll over from the app drawer to widgets and its not there. Can I not install widgets this way? Post a link to install widgets with this rom? Thanks.

Depends on your launcher. I use Apex. With Apex launcher Just long press and widget options will appear. Stock launcher you have to open apps and scroll to the right side of the screen to see widgets and then long press them.

Can this replacement launcher hide apps from app drawer like others ?
Is it pretty much like ics launcher ?

Check the thread for it.
NO it doesn't. at least not yet.
i put a request for adding this option hope they do it soon
Nova Launcher Hiding apps from the drawer
In my current HTC Sense version I can switch the app drawer to a scrollable, vertical list view.
I've been looking to move on to a newer ROM.
Sense 4.0a doesn't seem to have this option, and neither do Trebuchet, Apex Launcher, GO Launcher, or any other that I have tried.
I absolutely hate viewing my apps in a grid. It's much harder to look through, and it looks iphone-like.
Is there any current launcher out there that supports this? Or any hack or tweak?
You can try Launcher7?
Ok, thanks. Seems a bit drastic though.
Any other suggestions?
Am I alone in wanting this? Surely some other people prefer a list to a grid?
Don't know of any launcher that has a list view app drawer but a work around is to use a third party app like AltDrawer. You can use it instead of the launcher's inbuilt app drawer.

try ss launcher, very smooth and fast...

i am using ics in my x8,ss launcher and launcher pro is working fine.In these launcher you can use drawer as list view.
On Go Launcher, you can go under prefrences, then app drawer settings and then choose app drawer scrolling orientation. There you can choose vertical continuous. If I have to be with pages, this won't help you

that's not really what he was asking for. he wants the apps to be in a list as in windows phone 7 launchers. to answer you OP question, I'm quite sure that ss launcher does have the feature you're talking about. the other option has been isted before, that alt launcher app is quite smooth
LG Launcher... ADW + Sense MOD, Samsing TouchWiz Launcher...
There seems to be enough screen space to fit 5x5 icons on the homescreens instead of 4x4.
What's the easiest way to do this on a stock SGS3?
I don't think there are any mods yet to change the stock TW launcher. You might want to check out Apex Launcher or Nova Launcher if you haven't already.

In fact, TW is already modded...

Or just install another launcher such as Go Launcher.

I tried out Nova (free) for a few days, have uninstalled due to:
- icons sometimes take a while to reappear.
- Calendar / S Planner widget sometimes takes a long time to populate.
The TW mods appear to need root... so I'm back to stock TW, and realizing that I don't need more than 4x4 that badly.

open your app drawer, select the widgets tab, drag and drop any widget of your choice to the homescreen.
If you don't like the behaviour of the default launcher, then install apex or Nova.

Figured out a way to use blink feed with 3rd party launchers (at least ADW, I assume others can as well)
Using ADW, i created a custom shortcut to an activity. That activity was the Sense 5 launcher. When I click the shortcut it takes me to blink feed.
I deleted all the sense 5 launcher pages except blink feed.
When I hit home it goes back to my ADW home.
Will post screen shots tonight.
Maybe this is common knowledge.....if so sorry.

Actually to clarify, it looks like the activity shortcut I was using is from the Apex launcher i also have on the phone.. It just shows as a choice in the ADW custom shortcut menu. I also notice an activity shortcut form Nova launcher in there too.

Sort of. It is really just an icon to switch between sense 5 and the 3rd party launcher. You will remain in the sense 5 launcher until you hit the home button. However, I see no reason to stay in sense 5 except for blinkfeed, so yes, I am using it like an app and deleted all the non blinkfeed homescreens and dock icons. Of course sense 5 doesn't let you delete the app drawer icon so that is still there.
You retain full functionality of the blinkfeed page (clock/weather/and blinkfeed options). You can still tap the weather and get details, tap the clock to get world times, etc.
Along those lines, anyone know how to get the original HTC 4x2 weather flip clock into a launcher OTHER than Sense, such as nova launcher? Not as a downloaded widget from the play store, but the one I could add to the Sense additional home screens.

I've been able to get access to most all of the Sense widgets when using Lightning Launcher...
I set my activity to a gesture. So I pinch to zoom and it jumps into blink feed
