can you go to download mode? at least this would allow you to reflash a rom (stock for instance).

That's what i did a minute ago.
Was stucked on Samsung logo, but could enter in download mode, just reflashed a new firmware (Officcial) with ODIN and things went back to normal again.
Alternatively, if u can enter in CWM try to wipe everything and reboot. May solve it too.
just sent back
my mom has just sent it back...

Hey guys. I made the mistake of flashing an ICS rom for the international galaxy s2 (my phone is the I777) specifically this one. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752034
After realizing my mistake, I decided to try to install CWM recovery over the E3 recovery. I did so then rebooted. Now the phone will display Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 (which again is the wrong phone model) and then just hang up on a black screen.I'm not sure what to do at this point. I can't get into recovery or download mode. Thanks!
Flash back to stock first....

Hello!
I want to revert back to stock from CM 10 , and I cant get it to work. I use odin, and I have tried many different stock firmwares but they all hang at the samsung s 2 logo. I tried the CM 9 odin firmware, and that worked. But i cannot get the stock firmwares to work, they always hang at the logo.
Can someone please help me?

After you flash the stock rom if it hangs on the logo boot into recovery and select wipe data factory reset from there. Now let it boot and wait. Btw samsung stock will take so.e time to boot.... i would give it 10 minutes for the first boot

Take/Send it back to seller.
Or flash custom kernel via download mode using ODIN and then boot into recovery and wipe data/factory reset. If that doesnt work flash complete Samsung stock rom from http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/.

But you can search for "I9100G rom" stock xda
Well not able to flash Stock ROM
finally given in Phone market to get ROM Updated for Rs 300 ($6)
If you cant even do a simple thing as flashing a stock rom, stay away from rooting and Cyanogenmod! Please take my advice.

1) Are you sure it is for GT-S5830i? But first, are you sure that your device is an Ace-i?
2) Which kernel is it? You need to know whether it is for stock-based ROMs or for CM7.2 ROMs.
3) Download mode is more important. Can you access it with volume down + home + power?

Since you can enter the Recovery Mode, just flash any custom rom. Make sure to do Wipe data/ factory reset, Wipe cache partitions, Mounts & Storage> Format /system and Advanced> Wipe dalvik cache from CWM before you flash a rom. That should solve it. If that doesn't work, then flash the stock rom back using odin from the Download Mode. Do post the result. Hope I Helped

Bootloop S5389i
Hi there, i recently tried to install a custom rom on my ace s5839i but got stuck on the 'Galaxy Ace GT-S5389i' splash screen. I then managed to get it into download mode and install the stock ROM using odin. the process completes on the computer but on the phone it says 'failed to mount /data' and gets stuck in a new bootloop now between the 'SAMSUNG' and Vodafone logo. is there anything i can do about this? thanks in advance
