boot to recovery, wipe cache and factory reset.
EDIT:Hold "home+volume up+power" all at the same time until recovery menu appears.
reflash with odin some stock firmware if you don't want to wipe, if there is no problem with wiping, just go to recovery and do a factory reset...this has a strong chance of success.

After I hard reset and wiped cache..its still reboots..
Someone help me!! :'(
now it looks that only solution is to reflash, go to
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=1&m=GT-I9100&r=7#regiona
or
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113928
find something u like and flash it with odin.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1110160&highlight=odin+how+to
dont bother wit finding of exact fw. for you, find something that is for your region....
Is it flash it by using odin?
apsolutley with odin, since I suppose that you don't have cwm packed rom on SD card, because in that case does not matter if you have cwm recovery or not..., dont know if you have done it before...bat after beginners fear, it is actually peace of cake...dont be afraid, just follow instructions to the letter...

After I flashed it, it turns to the CWM screen and install the Multi-csc..something like that..and it reboot..after it reboot..its still turns to CWM and install the multi-csc.
So what should I do now?
you have done something wrong, or taken wrong rom image, since after flashing with ODIN stock rom you WILL ENDUP with stock recovery! Dont know what you flashed, but it was not stock rom.
What rom you took exactly??
"GT-I9100_SIN_I9100DXKI2_I9100OLCKH1_I9100DXKI1"
I flash this..is this a boot loop or other problem?
Hey dude, thanks for helping me so much..
My phone is working now..but I have to download my things again..=(
Alright. Thanks!
no problem, been in that situation. check some custom roms when u have time....you'll be amazed what this device can do.
and in clockwork recovery you have backup and restore, setup phone just how you like it, make a CWM backup and you are always sure that rescue is there....don't need odin or PC for that.
Flash Supercore with odin as PDA or some other kernel that has CWM recovery
The problem occured again just now, its after i dpwnlpad some apps from market..and its still not completely remove the hanging problem..And my laptop died. LOL.
Anyone here?
May i sugest u reflash stock rom and return it to the store.
If u have random reboot after flashing stock rom there is obviouse something wrong with your device.
hi

hey guys please help.
i think i bricked my phone galaxy s2 i9100.
odin is working ,cwm mode is working and even downloading mode is working.
this problem happened after i flashed slim ics rom yesterday 29-4-2012 on my i9100. the main problem behind it is that i'm not able to factory reset the phone.
whenever i try to factory reset my phone in cwm mode or recovery mode,my phone hangs.
i can format my phone through system /format.
i can wipe cache ,dalvik cache and battery stats.
i flashed many roms and kernels but even after flashing any rom or any kernel in my phone ,it doesnt work.
i installed these firmware and tried so that my phone starts working -
with odin
cm9
stock ics
stock gingerbread
lightening rom
through cwm recovery mode
slim ics
thebyani
resurrection roms
dynamic rom
hydrogen rom
kernels -:
siyah 3.1rc4 ,rc6, 3.1.2
cm9 remix
cf
speedmod
phenominal extreme
but nothing is working..
after any thin i flash only see is the GALAXY S2 GT-I9100 logo on my screen.
please guys tell me a way out..
if i flash a rom on my phone then binary count is not increasing but when i install a kernel then it increases. why so?
i can format ,mount ,unmount anything on phone but i cant format the user data or do a factory reset while doing that my phone hangs.
i even tried .PIT file with repartition ticked in the odin.
please tell me as if there is any hardware problem or just a normal problem?
now,
my phone says
cant access to /system/csc/SEK/system/'. in recovery
WHAT DOES IT MEAN ???
can any 1 help me?

wel u have a soft brick ma8 dont panic just dwnl a odin flashable stock GB rom and install the same
after that search the forum under samsung gs2 how 2 root ur phone with stock gb fallow the instructions and root ur phone
then select the ics rom like lightening rom and flash thru odin
every thing will be fine
Reading the post, seems like OP did flash a stock file (although ICS, not GB).
2 dumb questions just to confirm. You have the i9100? not the i9100G? Also have you waited a certain amount of time after you flashed those roms? It can take up to a couple minutes for it to first boot.
If above are fine, (you have i9100, and you waited a long time and it was still stuck on i9100 screen)
Try the link below.

Factory reset is not required after flashing a rom .
You load rom via Odin it finishes install and then reboots itself .
You load rom via CWM and it goes to reboot screen yes and phone reboots .
As said a stock gb rom flashed via Odin preferably after a format of system data and cache should be your first step .
jje
i did that.

Nooooooooooooo wait wait wait, don't ever touch pit files and repatition
i would try it but i hope it won't make your problems worse ...
[edit]
ok then not ...
Looks like you have siyah rc6. Make sure it's not from the 21st, iirc.
Don't factory reset just to be safe.. Restore your nandroid if possible and change to a later version.
Hope all goes well

yup i had siyah 3.1rc6 on my phone.
i tried to restore my nandroid backup but there is no effect on my problem.
how to know weather emmc is fine or currupted?
Try to mount it in CWM and connect it in linux computer and run fsck to check the eMMC. Windows chkdsk is no good.
And please try to remember, did you do this step: flash bad siyah rc6 then wipe/factory reset and get stuck?
if not, then the problem is different from those who flash bad rc6 (which is removed now and siyah is safe)
any thing is not working.
in every thread its written that if my phone goes in download mode and recovery mode then its soft bricked but then how can i unbrick my phone?
or is there any hardware problem?
i can mount and unmount every thing in recovery mode
i can format every thing but only user data cannot be formated, when ever i format/data or factory reset the phone hangs.
is there any other way of hard resetting i9100.?other than cwm recovery?
Have you tried flashing with the .PIT? I doubt it'll work, since other people also tried it, but it's worth a shot.

First I flashed Vanilla RootBOX and everything worked fine.
Then I used the OTA feature in Vanilla RootBOX, and now my phone wont boot.
I just displays the galaxy s2 screen for a few seconds then the screen goes black.
Any way I can fix this on my own?

Phone version is GT-I9100, not sure what else you mean by phone version.
I followed this tutorial:

Now it boots just fine, but i think I have used the wrong files.
Will try to flash a different rom again to se if it works.

i mean with phone version if it i9100g or normal one ...
well then if u can go to download mode then try to flash a stock rom if u can't ...
then u should flash a kernel first if ok u will be able to go to recovery mode.. .
Generally speaking, if you can get some response out of your phone (s2 logo, download mode, etc) then your phone is not bricked. You're only completely out of luck when your phone is completely unresponsive, as if the battery was removed.
By mistake I have flashed the Cameleon custom rom for S2 on my S3 and now the phone is stuck on the boot screen.
I have tried to reinstall the Omega Rom but nothing happens, it is still stuck on the boot screen.
Any ideas will be more than appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

ur S3 is softbricked buddy, only thing to do is tht u buy a USB JIG to restore download mode and flash official Samsung rom and then flash back ur regular rom.
NUFF SAID
if a bootloader is not included in the rom, you should be fine.
can you boot into download mode?
Solution found
Thanks a lot to all of you for your replies.
Apparently after you install the official samsung stock rom using the download mode, you have to go into recovery mode and do a data factory reset and the then the device boots up ok.
Thank God and all of yous the phone is up and running again

try booting in recovery and factory reset. then flash your official rom.
i am not an expert but that's what i will do.
do that..plus wipe your cache/dalvik...later, flash again the original rom

Don't press the 3 button combo for long. Press it till you see the Samsung Galaxy SIII screen and let go of the power button. It'll take you to the recovery.
Also, factory reset from the recovery and restart the phone. You'll boot into stock ROM. It is known issue after flashing stock ROM.

Everything is just as it should be. The phone will not boot if you switch ROMs and don't wipe data.
