By mistake I have flashed the Cameleon custom rom for S2 on my S3 and now the phone is stuck on the boot screen.
I have tried to reinstall the Omega Rom but nothing happens, it is still stuck on the boot screen.
Any ideas will be more than appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

ur S3 is softbricked buddy, only thing to do is tht u buy a USB JIG to restore download mode and flash official Samsung rom and then flash back ur regular rom.
NUFF SAID
if a bootloader is not included in the rom, you should be fine.
can you boot into download mode?

Thanks a lot to all of you for your replies.
Apparently after you install the official samsung stock rom using the download mode, you have to go into recovery mode and do a data factory reset and the then the device boots up ok.
Thank God and all of yous the phone is up and running again

Hey guys. I made the mistake of flashing an ICS rom for the international galaxy s2 (my phone is the I777) specifically this one. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752034
After realizing my mistake, I decided to try to install CWM recovery over the E3 recovery. I did so then rebooted. Now the phone will display Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 (which again is the wrong phone model) and then just hang up on a black screen.I'm not sure what to do at this point. I can't get into recovery or download mode. Thanks!
Flash back to stock first....

Take/Send it back to seller.
Or flash custom kernel via download mode using ODIN and then boot into recovery and wipe data/factory reset. If that doesnt work flash complete Samsung stock rom from http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/.

Don't press the 3 button combo for long. Press it till you see the Samsung Galaxy SIII screen and let go of the power button. It'll take you to the recovery.
Also, factory reset from the recovery and restart the phone. You'll boot into stock ROM. It is known issue after flashing stock ROM.

Everything is just as it should be. The phone will not boot if you switch ROMs and don't wipe data.

Hey guys, i was running the latest version of Slim Kat rom for my i9100 when it turned off and then was stuck on samsumg boot logo. When i try to access twrp it just says teamwin and wont go any further. It happened once before and so i just flashed a stock rom and then went back to rooting it. However, now when i try to flash any rom (stock/custom), or another recovery with odin it freezes at "nand write start". I have access to download mode which is really the only thing i have working atm
Ive read around and done everything (eg try other usb ports/cables/odin version) but no luck. Is there anything else i could do? I dont wanna do a pit flash cause im scared ill completely screw it up.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

1) Are you sure it is for GT-S5830i? But first, are you sure that your device is an Ace-i?
2) Which kernel is it? You need to know whether it is for stock-based ROMs or for CM7.2 ROMs.
3) Download mode is more important. Can you access it with volume down + home + power?

Since you can enter the Recovery Mode, just flash any custom rom. Make sure to do Wipe data/ factory reset, Wipe cache partitions, Mounts & Storage> Format /system and Advanced> Wipe dalvik cache from CWM before you flash a rom. That should solve it. If that doesn't work, then flash the stock rom back using odin from the Download Mode. Do post the result. Hope I Helped

Bootloop S5389i
Hi there, i recently tried to install a custom rom on my ace s5839i but got stuck on the 'Galaxy Ace GT-S5389i' splash screen. I then managed to get it into download mode and install the stock ROM using odin. the process completes on the computer but on the phone it says 'failed to mount /data' and gets stuck in a new bootloop now between the 'SAMSUNG' and Vodafone logo. is there anything i can do about this? thanks in advance
