In the official sony news JB update the xperia sola is not mentioned is that mean that the phone will not receive update? in the techclave it says that the update will be on this coming december but on the other sites they said that it maybe false.
There are rumors that it will have it, but lets hope and see.

Sony week ago confirmed that all xperia 2012 models will get 4. 1 in December. The update was ready in November but xperia sola floating touch needs more testing. That news you speak about was misinterpreted. It does not mean that xperia sold won't get jb. It meant that jb for sola was not ready yet. Sony published clarification, if you're eager, you will find it.

Hello everyone. We’d like to bring you up to speed with recent developments in our Android 4.0 software rollout.
First up, the rollout plans for the Xperia NXT series (Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U) are progressing as planned. The first smartphone to be upgraded will be Xperia S, starting from the end of June. Then Xperia P will follow, whilst Xperia U will receive it a little later in Q3. As always we will keep you in the loop with the latest info as soon as we can.
For our 2011 range, as you know, we began our Ice Cream Sandwich software upgrade with Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V last month.
Now, we are happy to confirm that the remaining 2011 smartphones; Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will start to receive their updates starting from next week.
This software upgrade will be Android version 4.0.4 and the good news is that this latest version will also be made available for Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V users, who received Android 4.0.3 the first time around.
In regards to Xperia PLAY, after extensive in house testing with our developer teams and working with our partners, we have concluded that a consistent and stable experience, particularly with gaming, cannot be guaranteed for this smartphone on Ice Cream Sandwich – therefore, we will not make the Android 4.0 upgrade available for Xperia PLAY.
This decision was also verified when we received similar feedback from the developer community; both experienced developers and advanced users, along with game content providers following our ICS beta ROM for unlocked Xperia PLAY smartphones.
Our priority has and always will be, to provide the best possible user experience on Xperia smartphones. In this instance the ICS upgrade would have compromised stability, where we look to ensure a quality gaming experience with games optimized and developed for Xperia PLAY.

yeah it's good i have also an wt19a telcel, i got excited when i read that but oops when i put my cel in pc companion or seus it says that there is no update available and more oops :S my wt19a frimware it's 4.0.1.A.0.283 :S so what can i do to recive the SE updates and don't have to wait to telcel to release it(it's what i have read that i have to wait them) because telcel may be neve release it they are so lazy :S

When would Official JellyBean be out for Xperia NXT 2012 series. I'm actually craving for the Official JellyBean on my Acro S and S.. Yet looking forward for it also for my future Xperia SL as well as my current Xperia Ion and P.
If you guys have any information on the Official Release of JellyBean 4.1 on any of the Xperia NXT 2012 series devices, PLEASE share..

google had recently came out with android 4.2, samsung is enjoying eating jelly bean, htc will receiving 4.2 in uk AND were still hoping for 4.1??? wow sony youre soooo lame.....
With luck, we will have it as a Christmas present, but I expect Sony will release it on Q1 2013, if not even later.

So Sony has decided not to give us Jelly Bean but they said they will continue to give us maintenance update for ICS. And it has been a while since the last .587, do you think they will release another update for our phone? For me even if they don't give us JB I will be happy if they continue to release bugfix and stability improvement update to perfect ICS. Let's hope our phone's life cycle won't end so soon.

How can you prefer something that you didn't even tried?! (Here i'm not talking about CM10,but about Sony customized JB). And no,ICS don't sucks,but you need to uninstall some crap apps which are eating ram and processor power,and then you'll get a very smooth ICS.

Man,Samsung,Sony,Motorola,Microsoft,Apple or any other company you want don't care about customer satisfaction...They care only about making money,and how can they make money,if they don't make you to buy their newest devices? This is not about customer satisfaction,it is about marketing strategy,where,unfortunately Sony has very weak employees.
Sony gives the jelly bean schedule !!
The first phones to get the Jelly Bean update are Xperia T, TX and V. The roll out will start in February and should be completed by the end of March.
The next trio to get the Jelly Bean treatment is the Xperia P, J and go. Sony will start seeding the updates for those at the end of March.
The last four phones to get Android Jelly Bean are Xperia S, SL, ion and acro S. The rollout for them will begin a few weeks after the second batch of phones get the Jelly Bean treatment, presumably sometime in late April.
This means Xperia arc S, U, sola, miro and tipo are out of the loop and will be stuck on ICS forever, at least as far as official updates are concerned.
We need to wait till the end of march !!!

Screaming "FÜCK SONY!!!!" They are all fücking liars. First they said, that the 2011 portfolio will get JB. Then they said only the 2012 device portfolio will get JB"(that's why I bought a Sola instead of fixing my beloved Xperia Ray) now they say we will not get JB... Man, this is pathetic. Gonna buy some nasty crappy iPhone clone Samsung sh*t next time.
So we'll really get 4.1 when the 4.2 will be out since nearly a half year by that time... Awesome... Anyone knows when the next android OS will come out? Maybe we'll get 4.1 when google comes out with 4.3 or 5.0 (I dont know what the next release is going to be)

Sony had promised earlier that they will be releasing the Jelly Bean update for all the Xperia devices that were released in 2012. Now, in a tweet from the official account, Sony has confirmed that the update is in very final stages and that more information will be provided next week.
Just a quick update to say we hear you re: JB 4.1 for Xperia P & Go, (S, SL, acro S and ion). Work's in v. final stage - more news next week
