I'm facing a problem with my sola.. I havent found any related thread, so here i am..
I recently flashed a custom rom in my sola (via cwm).. My prob is that i dont have cwm anymore (or i cannot enter, whatever)
My bl is unlocked and im on stock kernel.. Is this normal? Any ideas about what to do?
Just try to re-flash the CWM mate, it should work.

i re-flashed it.. now im stuck on the sony boot logo..

Hello everyone , today i re rooted my sk17i , installed cwm recovery and everything was going fine.I downloaded this rom called hybrom v15, i wiped the phone ,and insalled the rom. When i turn on the phone , it just stays on the Sony Ericsson Logo D: , i need help please! this thing has been like this for hours! how can i fix it ? I hope for a reply soon!

Is your bootloader unlocked? Or you installed CWM using nAa's installer?

I was such in a hurry i didn't check , i assume this it wasn't , maybe thats the cause of the freeze , is there anyway to fix it :'(

Do not worry.
Check the Downgrade to GB section here:

Steps are easy to follow and hopefully will solve your issue. And for ftf files for firmwares other than those listed there, search here on XDA.
And for your information, never try to flash a ROM using CWM by nAa's method. That CWM recovery is at /system. And most Roms replace the/system, and thus messes with the CWM on way. So, if you want to flash custom Roms, unlock the bootloader.

Sorry friend you do not have the full backup of your original ROM. Had it was easy.
I'll try to help you with a hint can not say that it will work. For I have not tried this.
Go here to download the ZIP file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568792refente the ROM of your device. Then please make sure that you load on | You will need to charge your battery in another material. After that try to install the ROM ZIP with CWM. I believe this will work. : Cool:After I installed a wrong kernel LWW my phone stopped starting. I could not even outrar Kernel flasher so it was thanks to CWM that saved the life of my phone with Full Backup Original ROM that always has to be done before anything else.
I recently installed LWW rom on my mini by mistake, now its touchscreen is not responding. wat do?
How about flashing a custom kernel with cwm (flash again if you already have one) , remove memory card, don't try to boot into the Rom! Just boot into cwm wipe everything! (cache/dalvik/data/system/batterystats) literally wipe everything you could wipe . Then flash the generic firmware for your phone. I think that should do the trick.

as i told follow that tut...
the same problem happened to my friend 'shprakash' he followed every thing in that tut..but it didnt work..
finally ended up replacing the digitizer ...which is around 2000INR
my device-xperia neo v
i have unlocked bootloader and rooted it successfully.
then i installed cm9 from their official site. it worked fine.i had been using it for 4 months.
but when i try to install any other rom(i tried ice-cream pureness,cm10,etc) i always get a black screen after reboot(for cm10 it stuck at the logo which was flickering in a wierd way though ).
m really bored with cm9.hlp:laugh::laugh:.
Did you flash the right kernel for the ROMs you have installed?
Did you do a full wipe?

ya...i did a full wipe..but didnt check the kernel.
i read the instructions again and i missed a step.
now that i read it...i dont get it(m noob in this)
the step is-Flash 4.1.B.0.587 ftf using flashtool
i installed a flashtool-emma but it didnt support my cell.then i installed another flashtool named 'FLASHTOOL'...but i get this(see screenshot).

I properly flashed the FXP205CM9 kernel and rom, over a fresh 6.1.1.B.54 rom, booted, but touchscreen gone. I did the same procedure over 5 times now I'm confused.... Any help appreciated!
Flashed stock too, didn't help :'(

No. I reverted back to stock 6.1.1.B.1.54, but touchscreen didn't work eihter
U must have flashed a wrong version
Touchscreen usually fails when u FLASH A WRONG FTF
Try relocking ur bootloader and send it to service center

I flashed MT27i_6.1.1.B.1.54_Global.ftf
Recovery works, so I flashed my Paranoid Unicorn, MIUI, CM9, AOKP, Ultimate Sola, Pure blood, Paranoid Android v1.4, none of them worked.
It sounds like a hardware problem mate, relock bootloader and repair service.

I got in the same mess as you....but i found the solution for it:highfive:....just flash stock gingerbread and there you go....your touchscreen will restore full functionality.Gud luck...

hey. i have the same problem. it occurs when o flashed ics fw. the touch screen of the sola gets faulty. i flash it back again into gb fw but still problem occurs -_-. please help.

Try flashing Gb
Or try my method about how to get out of this problem

Please can anyone help me out?? im running out of ideas of what to do now?? it all starts when i try to install sperience rom... now my xmp wont detect any touch at all?? recovery is also somehow lost and i actually tried to reinstall the CWM recovery but i always get this instead:
flash a kernel including recovery from flashtool
You probably installed rom for other device, do as said above or reflash stock
Yaa flash any custom kernal and flash any rom...
Be carefull in selcting the rom ....
Select rom compatible to kernel and ur phone...
Like if u flash ics kernel then select ics rom only ...

Be specific when you ask any help it'll easy to understand other members of forum to help you asap..................
Now............. are you on unlocked bootloader or locked...... if you are on unlocked bootloader just flash any custom kernel and flash custom rom if you want and see it'll solve your problem or not..............................
