I properly flashed the FXP205CM9 kernel and rom, over a fresh 6.1.1.B.54 rom, booted, but touchscreen gone. I did the same procedure over 5 times now I'm confused.... Any help appreciated!

No. I reverted back to stock 6.1.1.B.1.54, but touchscreen didn't work eihter
U must have flashed a wrong version
Touchscreen usually fails when u FLASH A WRONG FTF
Try relocking ur bootloader and send it to service center

I flashed MT27i_6.1.1.B.1.54_Global.ftf
Recovery works, so I flashed my Paranoid Unicorn, MIUI, CM9, AOKP, Ultimate Sola, Pure blood, Paranoid Android v1.4, none of them worked.
It sounds like a hardware problem mate, relock bootloader and repair service.

I got in the same mess as you....but i found the solution for it:highfive:....just flash stock gingerbread and there you go....your touchscreen will restore full functionality.Gud luck...

if you were stucked in SE bootanimation on first boot, try to restart the phone ..
if it didn't solve the problem, it might be the kernel and firmware is your problem that doesn't support hybrom v11
i recommended you to flash .62 firmware using flashtool, then flash KRsH kernel v3.0 from here. After that install hybrom v11 via CWM
I've been try on my sk17i and it is 100% works

once u unlock bootloader your warranty will be avoided because it wipe all drm data even though u relock it back.

I once flashed wrong ROM, my phone is SK17i, and i accidentaly flashed ROM for XperiaActive because i just swapped its sdcard..the touchscreen didnt work,even after i flashed another ROM.. so i tried to flashed GB stock ROMS with flashtool, test the touchscreen, make sure all works, and flashed it again to ICS with (again) flashtool..

try to re-calibrate your phone's touchscreen to the nearest Sony Service Centre..coz my brother's LwW was having problems with his touchscreen,and after his phone's touchscreen re-calibrated now it's working fine...

1: flash stock Rom
2:Flash Rom that Bricked your touch
3:flash stock rom again
If reinstalling stock rom doesn't work then it's hardware related issue. You have to change the touchscreen

in step 2 first you should flash a custom kernel then flash that Wrong custom rom

yes i think, LWW rom, in the last version ithink work on Xmini, and then touch problem,,
try to flash kernel but same again. i think my hardware problem now
i had same problem.... i flashed a Minipro Rom on my device and my XM touch disabled...
what i did to fix...
1: flash stock firmware via Flashtools
2:flash a custom kernel to get CmW and than i flashed that mini pro Rom again
3:i flashed stock firmware again and my problem Solved!!

i have wt19i with JellySandwich 6.2.1 and rage kernel v3.2!i flashed earlier FOX XMP ICS rom and after that my touchscreen was not responding...in the screen where it says to write down the pin,i could only press the zero button and all the hardware keys work fine...!If anyone knows how to fix it please help.....

Did you unlock bootloader on official way or via testpoint?
Flash the stockrom and see what happens...
I think that was via testpoint..i dont know for sure because one of my friends did it...i searched all similar posts but i cant use flashtool!it stuck on screen that says to plug in my phone!

So you install the latest flashtool version. Afterwards you download the gingerbread (or ics) ftf for your device. You install all drivers from flashtool installation folder> drivers. Now you launch flashtool, click on the flash, select flashmode and choose the ftf. Now turn phone off, hold volume up and while holding plug in pc. Don't turn phone on, just connect while holding volume down. Flashtool will automaticly flash the ftf.
Just restart and see what happens

flashing another device rom to ur made this problem..bcz when u do it the the touch drivers are replaced screwing ur touch screen digitizer...
try flashing hybrom v16 GB of sk17i and flash to stock lww rom after that....
is it still dont work u have to replace ur touchscreen digitizer.

Oh so you mean you have installed stock firmware and touch isn't working anyway? There are some threads about how to fix touchscreen with hybrom (like sandy7 said)

How about flashing a custom kernel with cwm (flash again if you already have one) , remove memory card, don't try to boot into the Rom! Just boot into cwm wipe everything! (cache/dalvik/data/system/batterystats) literally wipe everything you could wipe . Then flash the generic firmware for your phone. I think that should do the trick.

I searched for hybrom v12 mini pro for about half an hour, if you know the right method and link kindly reply me asap and with full instructions. I am also Lww user and facing same touch screen issue.

It happened to me today, I flashed SlimCM to see if it works with Sola(after some modifications)...it booted but no touch! Flashed CM9 - no touch. Flashed stock ICS- no touch. Fortunatelly, Gingerbread saved me once again
