wt19i touch screen not responding - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A
Hello everyone,
i have wt19i with JellySandwich 6.2.1 and rage kernel v3.2!i flashed earlier FOX XMP ICS rom and after that my touchscreen was not responding...in the screen where it says to write down the pin,i could only press the zero button and all the hardware keys work fine...!If anyone knows how to fix it please help.....

Did you unlock bootloader on official way or via testpoint?
Flash the stockrom and see what happens...
I think that was via testpoint..i dont know for sure because one of my friends did it...i searched all similar posts but i cant use flashtool!it stuck on screen that says to plug in my phone!

So you install the latest flashtool version. Afterwards you download the gingerbread (or ics) ftf for your device. You install all drivers from flashtool installation folder> drivers. Now you launch flashtool, click on the flash, select flashmode and choose the ftf. Now turn phone off, hold volume up and while holding plug in pc. Don't turn phone on, just connect while holding volume down. Flashtool will automaticly flash the ftf.
Just restart and see what happens

flashing another device rom to ur made this problem..bcz when u do it the the touch drivers are replaced screwing ur touch screen digitizer...
try flashing hybrom v16 GB of sk17i and flash to stock lww rom after that....
is it still dont work u have to replace ur touchscreen digitizer.

So you stuck there, on the latest flashtool build. Reinstall it and try again, it must work!

You mean to flash 2 times the same ftf?
Oh so you mean you have installed stock firmware and touch isn't working anyway? There are some threads about how to fix touchscreen with hybrom (like sandy7 said)

How about flashing a custom kernel with cwm (flash again if you already have one) , remove memory card, don't try to boot into the Rom! Just boot into cwm wipe everything! (cache/dalvik/data/system/batterystats) literally wipe everything you could wipe . Then flash the generic firmware for your phone. I think that should do the trick.

i have the same problem too :crying: last night i've flashed wrong cusrom (should have known it for mini pro) but mine is wt19i and the touchscreen was never responding ever since. I've tried so many ways in i.e :

none worked for me. Not even partially . Been tried using rage kernel 2.6, 2.7, X-kernel, KrSH kernel. Hybrom v10, v12 minipro, v12 lww. but it just can't boot seems like i'm desperate right now. Do i have to keep flashing again and again? bcause i see some comments about just tried to keep flashing to their devices and sometime it could magically turn the touchscreen to work

I searched for hybrom v12 mini pro for about half an hour, if you know the right method and link kindly reply me asap and with full instructions. I am also Lww user and facing same touch screen issue.

Then i noticed my screen dont work, so i decide to install a rom via cwm. I do that but the screen still no working, i only want to access to my build prop to change it again and make my phone works again Please help me i am a noob I access via pc to build prop file and it says "SK17" i think now it is hardware problem!! Click to collapse did you flash a kernel when you installed the rom? if yes then you must have flashed one for the wrong device, please chaeck otherwise flashing original firmware will make everything all right

Click to collapse installing a ftf is like reverting it to a stock stage, if your phone was working then, it should work now. are you sure you installed sk17 and not st17? i cannot think of any other reason for this..

I read somewhere that some times touch drivers are lost which can only be restored by flashing stock again and again You can also refer this thread
OMG!! i flashed it six times and the screen doesnt work )= Maybe if i install a rom from another model like mini or live with walkman I thought that because whent the problem starts i change my build prop to make run a wt19 rom! with the boot_official_port_mango kernel, maybe my phone thinks its another phone xD
Well, you can always restore your phone with the Sony app and start again. Anyway, I don't think its a good idea to try to use a ROM made for another device.

Click to collapse On PC Companion, start the "Support Zone" and you can restore from here. I think Sony dont support SEUS anymore, but you can find it in some forums or download sites.

Thanks Kobzar666 But its is a fix for st15 lunatic2nuts : -STEP 1: Install lastest firmware .62 for st15i. - use Flashtool -STEP 2: Then via CM from zip install hybrom_v10. for minipro (sk17i) -STEP 3: Then again flash lastest firmware .62 for st15i And in future be carefull, and stay away from minipro ROMs so i have to interchange i mean -STEP 1: Install lastest firmware .62 for sk17i. - use Flashtool -STEP 2: Then via CM from zip install hybrom_v10. for minipro (st15i) -STEP 3: Then again flash lastest firmware .62 for st17i someone can upload HYBROM v10 the files in the official post are private

Something like that happened to me with an X8 with unlocked bootloader and custom ROM. Everything was fine for a month and then literally out of nowhere the phone s speaker stopped working! Just like that! No alarms,no ringing...nothing! Before throwing away the phone,I gave it a shot and re flashed stock locked bootloader and ROM and everything started working again! I then sold it and got a mini! :-D N. Sent from one of my 4 iPads.

Hello everyone , today i re rooted my sk17i , installed cwm recovery and everything was going fine.I downloaded this rom called hybrom v15, i wiped the phone ,and insalled the rom. When i turn on the phone , it just stays on the Sony Ericsson Logo D: , i need help please! this thing has been like this for hours! how can i fix it ? I hope for a reply soon! Thank you

Check the Downgrade to GB section here: http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239?tstart=0 Steps are easy to follow and hopefully will solve your issue. And for ftf files for firmwares other than those listed there, search here on XDA. And for your information, never try to flash a ROM using CWM by nAa's method. That CWM recovery is at /system. And most Roms replace the/system, and thus messes with the CWM on way. So, if you want to flash custom Roms, unlock the bootloader. For I have not tried this. Go here to download the ZIP file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568792refente the ROM of your device. Then please make sure that you load on | You will need to charge your battery in another material. After that try to install the ROM ZIP with CWM. I believe this will work. : Cool:After I installed a wrong kernel LWW my phone stopped starting. I could not even outrar Kernel flasher so it was thanks to CWM that saved the life of my phone with Full Backup Original ROM that always has to be done before anything else.

you can do this to fix your touch.... flash an stock 2.3.4 firmware.. flash a "ported rom"on your device flash stock firmware again

XMP touch screen is not working
Hi everybody, I'm Luis and this is my first post I have a problem with my phone: few days ago I installed this rom on my Xperia Mini Pro: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002376 After install the rom, the touch screen is not working anymore :crying: I did some things to solve my problem but the touch screen doesn't work: factory reset restore with cwm flash my XMP with flashtool using GB and ICS roms reinstall the firmware with SEUS but the touch screen is dead, the home and power buttons are working, the back and menu buttons are dead too. my phone has a locked bootloader Can somebody help me please? PD: Sorry for my bad english :silly:

if u guys had made a backup in recovery before flashing u cud have restored it. i assume u havent done so . therefore use flashtool to flash new firmware or simply try installing a new ROM and see if TS is working !

[Q] i am getting a black screen after rebooting after i flash any custom rom
my device-xperia neo v i have unlocked bootloader and rooted it successfully. then i installed cm9 from their official site. it worked fine.i had been using it for 4 months. but when i try to install any other rom(i tried ice-cream pureness,cm10,etc) i always get a black screen after reboot(for cm10 it stuck at the logo which was flickering in a wierd way though ). m really bored with cm9.hlp:laugh::laugh:.
Did you flash the right kernel for the ROMs you have installed? Did you do a full wipe?

Click to collapse ya...i did a full wipe..but didnt check the kernel. i read the instructions again and i missed a step. now that i read it...i dont get it(m noob in this) the step is-Flash 4.1.B.0.587 ftf using flashtool i installed a flashtool-emma but it didnt support my cell.then i installed another flashtool named 'FLASHTOOL'...but i get this(see screenshot). THANX in advance :laugh::
