I tried all of them last night, got boot loops on all 3. I have a personal custom version of 2.2.1 stock ROM. The only thing I have done on my ROM is delete some .apk's, deodex'd and zip-aligned the .apk's. There are no themes or other mods besides Gr8gorilla's OC kernel.
Might it have something to do with the native ability to theme? Is the framework modified by applying a theme in the customization settings? If so, the state of everyone's framework could be different. Could also try a cache flush.
Both flying and fold gave me a boot loop too... I have 2.2.1 and also deleted some bloat on my phone... Also running launcherpro plus if that helps! Really want to try this out

[APP]MMS.apk from International Note N7000

I tried out the MMS.apk from the International Note N7000 and it's working fine on our phones.
The conversation thread has less of an iPhone feel to it.
To install:
1. In system/app, rename the stock mms.apk and mms.odex to mms.apk.bak and mms.odex.bak
2. Copy this mms.apk into system/app and change the permissions to match the rest of the apks in the directory.
3. You might have to restart the phone for the app to show up in your drawer. (I did not have to do this.)
Any difference with our ATT Note? Background? Font?... Thanks

Yes. You need root for playing with anything at system level.
Worked great for me, did not need a reboot!
Works great, thanks. I didnt like the yellow message bubbles, so I replaced them with the stock at&t blue and gray, and it looks awesome!

I'm on the stock AT&T rom and it's working fine. Did you delete or backup the mms.odex file in system/app?
I'm a total dumbass I guess I should learn to read before trying to apply any mods huh!! I didn't rename the odex file. Lemme try this again.

Sorry i want to apply this mod, but i am running stock rom. What the best way to root it so i can apply this mod. On my previous android phones, i was just download an app and root it. In my international note i used DooMLoRD_v1_ROOT and it work fine. I am reading that on ATT note you have to used Odin and flash the phone. Please advice. I don't want to install new roms, all i want to do is mods like this one.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1518962
Thanks, for warranty purpose. can i go to setting, privacy and factory data reset. Will that undo the root and take me back to unroot stock att or do i have to flash to go back to factory default.
Sorry so many questions.
Thanks

You should ask questions like this in that thread since it is specifically for that and this thread is for the MMS.apk from the International Note forum.
But - no, factory reset does not undo root.
Yay no more white background. Thanks alot!!!!!

Black Stock keyboard

I got tired of seeing the white and grey keyboard and didnt wanna use the Gingerbread keyboard cause of the small buttons. So I themed the stock one a little bit. Thought I would share it with the community.
Using root explorer, copy to /system/app. Change permissions to rw-r-r, reboot to xrecovery, clear cache and dalvik cache, Reboot, Enjoy
[EDIT]
added odexed version - not a flashable zip. Use same method from above
oh nice! saves me doing it i was just about to start doing my own one lol!
Something i didn't know how much i need it! thank you man
I followed your instructions but it keeps force-closing every second.
I'm on MiniCM, anyone experiencing this?
Change the name of it to the name of your keyboard before you move it and it will over write.
(NOTE)
Not all roms have the same name for the keyboard

Oh he is using an odexed rom. I dont why I didnt think of that. Ok I will odex this apk and post it as well for anyone using odexed ROMs.
Dude
To work perfectly this keyboard, need some lib and usr files

Well most phones already have the stock Eclair keyboard or GIngerbread keyboard. My rom is Gingerbread 2.3.7. So I know this will work if anyone already has either keyboard in their ROM. Ive swapped around to all three keyboards. All worked. and I know the icons are hdpi. They look a lot better on my phone then mdpi. And they get resized by android anyways. I left the characters bigger so they can be seen better. Only notice two characters that hang over a litte bit. Neither causes any issues though. BUT, I guess I could change the icons to mdpi and resize the characters if anyone wants it done.
Thanks for the feedback

I will definitely try. I been thinking about a transparent one for a few days now. Cant find icons for it. So I will have to make or convert some. Might take me a day or so but I will get it done

Thanks guys...
1. flashing again won't solve it, I have to update all my apps again...and reorganize stuffs.
2. yes my phone is rooted, but resetting won't help as I deleted the clock apps from titanium already.
3. the last apps above did not install.....
If nothing else, I'll just wait for ICS to come out and update. I appreciate your replies guys

System app won't let you install. You have to copy to your system\app folder by using Root Explorer/other file manager app and set rw r r permission then reboot the phone. It now should be there

[US VARIANT][No Flash] Hybrid Theme (PORT)

With root finally here I figured I would go ahead and port some themes for the US model.
DISCLAIMER: THIS CAN BREAK YOUR DEVICE, IF IT DOES THEN I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. IF YOU COME TO ME CRYING BECAUSE YOUR PHONE IS BROKEN I WILL POINT AND LAUGH AT YOU. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Now then, on to the good stuff.
ARE THERE ANY PREREQUISITES?
YEP. Root and an unlocked bootloader. Lol, jk. You just need root, but I got ya, huh?
WHAT IS THIS?
This is the first true theme for the G4 Variants with locked bootloaders.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
It replaces stock icons in your statusbar/quicksettings with more google(ish?) ones.
WHAT DO I DO TO GET THIS?
I thought you'd never ask:
1. Backup using Titanium Backup.
2. Download the file below somewhere you can remember.
3. BACK UP YOUR CURRENT LGSystemUI.apk (system\priv-app\LGSystemUI\) BEFORE YOU REPLACE IT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
4. Using any root explorer place the apk in system\priv-app\LGSystemUI\.
5. Replace the old one (THAT YOU BETTER HAVE BACKED UP) by renaming the downloaded LGSystemUI[insertcarrierhere].apk to just LGSystemUI.apk.
6. Change permissions to rw-r-r.
7. Reboot.
That's it. Enjoy your new theme. If you want to revert back just take the old backup that you made (you did make it, right?) and repeat steps 4-7.
WHERE DA LINK AT?!
Right here:
7/27/2015 (AT&T) (810)
7/27/2015 (T-Mobile) (811)
7/28/2015 (Verizon) (vs986)
7/27/2015 (Euro) (815)
If your variant is not listed above it is because I have not yet made it yet. Upload your *CLEAN* LGSystemUI.apk and I will have it back to you ASAP (if I'm not AFK then it will take five minutes.)
CREDITS:
-Me for porting this and making the thread.
-kickoff for doing most of the work in the first place. Be sure and go thank him!
THIS IS A PORT, SO BEFORE YOU COME WHINING TO ME ABOUT HOW KICKOFF'S THEME HAS THIS AND THAT AND THIS PORT DOES NOT:
1. SUCK MY A**.
2. BE PATIENT, THIS IS A WIP AND YOU GUYS DON'T PAY ME ENOUGH TO GRIPE.
