I have noticed my phone has been sending a txt to +919560345888 which is in India. How do I block my phone from sending an unwanted txt, or how can I block this particular number.

Sounds a bit virus like, or to be more accurate, it may be that you have been conned into signing up for some expensive text service. You might want to check with your provider that you aren't being charged a fortune for the texts. If you take prompt action you should be able to get the provider to refund any charges.
I have found something similar - SMS to 00-919560345888
I was looking over my phone bill and I noticed a SMS sent to 00-919560345888 on the 9th of November - the number seems to be in India (provider probably Airtel, somewhere in the Delhi area).
Doing a quick search here was showing this thread most recently.
During that day the only software that I remember installing on that specific S3 was Criskelo v19 (and there is a post of mine from that day to confirm that) - did anybody else see something like this?
EDIT:
IMHO the original poster should change the title to include the words SMS and 00-919560345888 to make this thread more obvious for other people that have seen similar problems!
i think when you install the india rom it sends registration sms to samsung india or network provider..as here when we purchase samsung phone we get free data for first few months..so each time fresh installation of rom it sends sms..
I doubt that ...

I really doubt that - I consider this story a major problem and I think we should further investigate the owners of that number and how that stuff got injected into the ROM - it most certainly does not look like a company number but instead 100% like a number a hacker would use to signal back the existence of a backdoor - which most likely he could perfectly use at any time with a SMS back to your phone where he most likely has root access!
I'm sure if you ask politely someone will track the number down and nuke the bastterd
Edit: Turns out to be an Indian Samsung service centre.. Nuke it anyway.

Install LBE security master, free app in xda. It will not let any app send unauthorised texts/calls/location data. Hope it helps next time. Thanks.

While I appreciate your generic advice you are probably not understanding what was happening - the trojan is inside a custom (auto-root) ROM, and as such could in theory do anything while the ROM was first booted - the program could not only send SMS in an "invisible" way, it could also leave a pretty much invisible hook/backdoor, and if the program wanted it could also uninstall "LBE security master" or whatever other similar program - and for the record AVAST was already installed - but as expected the program could see nothing unusual since the problem was inside the root-mode ROM!
This was a problem with the earlier jelly bean rom for india LJ5. Due to technical issues this update was withdrawn by Samsung India and later LK1 was released.
Any ROMs based on LJ5 would have this issue.

When you say that you know nothing 'about that product', what are you referring to... the N7100, the stock ROM or the kernel... or possibly all three?
My Build number begins with JZO54K.

Hi,
I have a completely stock Galaxy s2 on O2-UK and it will not receive texts. I can send them but cannot receive! I do have a case but ive taken it off to see i thats the problem but it is not. Anyone know what the problem is?
Thanks in advance
I would contact o2
Check your Message Centre number under Messaging > Settings. Find out what it should be for your carrier. If it the number is blank in your phone, or doesn't match what it should be for your carrier, fix it.

Change your SMS centre settings.
+447802000332 for Pay Monthly, or
+447802092035 for Pay & Go
Remember to check that the message centre number starts with +44 and not 0044
International settings
Make sure that International barring has been removed from your phone, then just follow these steps:.
Check the message centre settings (making sure the number starts with +44 and not 0044)
+447802000332 for Pay Monthly or
+447802092035 for Pay & Go
The correct pay monthly O2 number was there, i got it to work by going into settings>Wireless and network>Mobile network settings and changing my network operator then putting it to O2 again and my messages came through. But it stopped working AGAIN! And i had to repeat that. Is this a hardware problem?

Hmm Im sure its not a hardware problem. Try going in to the settings & changing the network selection from automatic to manual, try logging on to another network which should say no access eg Orange then log back onto o2. Your texts should start coming soon

Am getting similar msgs about a running game whatever..... It must b some application i installed which pushes such ads or adware...... How can i know which app? Nd by the way dont know if it is wifi on off related but rather happens when internet source is toggled..... Wifi/3g etc.... Task manager shows no application running....
I asked my (Chinese) wife, it means "The Internet connection was changed".
I don't see any pics man
A quick look at logcat will probably tell you the offending app or process.
It means way of connection to the internet has changed in Chinese
I had a similar issue to this on a UK firmware with an SGS2 and when wifi was enabled it used to display a Korean message, I think there maybe some non-translated strings in this area.
Here is the text if you need it:-

Well, there is no "issue" except that they've forgotten to translate a string of text somewhere saying "your internet connection changed" as previously stated. This notification is correct.
If you don't want to root it or flash different firmware you'll have to live with it for now.

Hey folks,
yesterday I flashed the newest rom XXDLJ5 (India).
Everything went just fine.
Now i looked at the connections on my online bill.
I noticed that my phone has written (shortly after flashing the rom) secretly a sms to
this number: +91 9560345888.
Google could only tell me that it is an indian number.
There is no hint on my SGS3 why it has written this sms.
I set this number as spam in my sms app, so i hope this was the last time this happened.
That costs me 0.13€ everytime...
Does anyone have an idea why this happened???
Thanks in advance...

Every New Official ROM flashed , sends an SMS to a different number as noticed in all my devices after official update.
So thats for one time only where SAMSUNG registers this device of having flashed the official version on their handsets.
This is also introduced in the ICS builds for S2 and Notes too.

Not only the Galaxy SIII, but also the Galaxy Note N7000 Jelly Bean official Indian (South Asian) ROM sends SMS to the Indian number +919560345888 each time you flash the ROM or perform a factory reset. This has been a mystery! See my post here!

A lot of people do experience frequently freezing after the latest update from Samsung. A few send in to repair and some did do their own magic stuff. But so far there isn't any clear solution. I think we ow a explanation from Samsung. This is a well known problem and people all over the world have it. But how can we get Samsung to take care. We didn't pay 600 € for a phone that freezes all the time.

The last time it dropped was 6 months ago. So I don't think that's the cause. I also resetted my whole phone a few times so an APK can't be the problem either I think. Or the APK must have broken some hardware? Is that possible?
