Verizon Shell Holster Case - HTC Droid DNA

Their case, at least on my phone, squeezes the screen and creates a small blueish blemish. This blemish is hard to see and it's best to look for it on a white background. Pressing on that spot makes the blob larger. This goes away when you remove the case.
Just wanted to let you guys know about that so you can try out the case before leaving the store. I'm currently sitting on it hoping to stretch it out a bit. Is anyone else having this same issue?

No issues for me. Where on the screen is it showing up on yours?

Think I have same problem
Mine is about 2 inches above the home key and is about the size of an eraser head.
Were you able to get rid of it?

No blemish on mine.

No. I went back to the store and tried a different case but it still did the same thing. Ended up just returning it. Perhaps it's phones rather than the case?

Might be something about the phone that the case affects. I was able to get the blemish to fade by carefully squeezing the opposite corners of the phone towards each other. Basically, I "massaged" blemish out. Haven't seen it since...

------ How it Should Look
------- Mine :/
I know, this doesn't affect the performance, but I'm sure you guys can understand how it would bug me. I've tried to use tape to pull it up, but nothing has worked. Any new suggestions, now that I've showed you?
Try some compressed air and spray it.
I guess you have the Canada version?
Mine doesn't have a ridge thing around it.
its the screen protector

I have a putty stuff called CyberClean which is designed for this kinda thing. Works a charm for the USB ports as well.
Dry paintbrush... or toothbrush
I've looked up that cyberclean stuff.. it seems nice. Ill probably be ordering the 20 dollar one. So how does it work? It seems just like silly putty. I'll do ANYTHING to get my atrix back to normal.

[Q] Adhesive along frame?

Hi there,
I got my Nook tablet today, and almost immediately noticed a fair amount of adhesive at the left bottom corner of the frame, and a bit further up the left side. I read that the inside of the device contains large amounts of adhesive, but is it normal for it to actually show outside the frame? I took a picture of it:

I'd try to clean it out of there, but it is rather rough stuff and I don't want to work it around too hard.
Thanks, Nir
Wow, that is completely unacceptable. You should exchange it immediately if it came that way.

Absolutely agree with Phonoob. Go get that thing exchanged asap!
Yea ide return it.

My thought too. Back it goes I guess, thanks for chiming in!
I'd say return it as well, but if you wanted to just clean it use Goo Gone or even lighter fluid.

And catch fire! Read the fine print. No harsh chemical should be used to clean product. Just return/exchange for new unit.
Dead Pixel
Take it back. Mine had a dead pixel or screen imperfection right in the middle and I took it back. Exchange was easy.

Keyboard Dock Protective Tape Coming Off

Has anyone else experienced this - the protective, soft tape that lines the inside of the piece where the tablet connects to the keyboard is coming off. My guess is that the minimal additional width added by my screen protector must be pushing it and making it come off. Has anyone else had this happen? I haven't had the keyboard dock for more than a couple of months, so I'm a little ticked off that this is happening. Any ideas how I might be able to replace this myself, or if something like this could be covered under warranty? (I'll try to get some pictures to better illustrate what's happening)
Thanks!

Edit: Photos - as you can see from the pics, it's only the front side that comes in contact with the bottom of the screen; the back is untouched.

mines was doing the same thing, i got pissed off and pulled it off, LMAO u dont need it if u already got a screen protector on ur device as the protector will help protect the screen from scratch damage, thats what they were made for, mines just leave little sticky resude like at the center cause there is some sticky stuff still left there, i just wipe it off and its good to go

Thanks - I was thinking that same thing. I still might try to get a replacement through Staples as a manufacturing defect (??). If they say no, I'll just pull it off.

Top and Bottom Bezel/Rails Replacement?

Okay as it turns out the top and bottom rails are actually coated plastic unlike the left and right side which is made of aluminum. I've got a few scratches and on the corner the coat is chipping. So I was wondering does anyone know if its easy to replace them without having to dismantle the phone? I found them selling cheap on http://www.etradesupply.com/sony-xperia-z-ultra-xl39h-side-rail.html and from the pictures I can see that it clips on the device but I need to be sure. So if anyone has done it or seen it done before please share it. Thank you.
I think they can come off without fully taking the phone apart
Zoom and look at these pictures http://stellatech.com/sony-c6806-xperia-z-ultra-front-cover-lcd-touchscreen-(black),a,en,816117.html

Has anyone found how to remove the top/bottom rails? Also, is it possible to just replace power button? I can't seem to find anything.

Didn't think so, but I found someone on eBay selling just the power button. Still can't find how to replace the top rail either.

Screen problem?

I have a little problem with my N9. I recently observered a little bit bright vertical line near the right side. I know this is and old tablet, I know it's limits, but this is bugging me out. I really thinking about getting a new tablet (preferably pixel c for the pure android).
Anyway... Is this a screen problem? Only way to fix this to replace the screen? Frankly, I do not want to spend any money on this tablet.

I think that might bei screen bleeding, which is quite common for the nexus 9.
i have the same screen problem.
Possibly a burned-in navbar?
So most probably the only solution to replace the screen?
