Hi ram praveen , i will tell u something , i think they have messed up ur charging port , l have bought a xperia x10 with usb charging port totally not working. I have fixed it myself .now i am not telling u to fix it urself .
what i am advising u is u go to gsmhosting website and in their forum in sony ericsson hard repair area . There are number of solutions for this kind of problems u copy that pictures in a pen drive and take it to a good technician and its working . The solution is working for both charging and flashing . But u need a good technician to do that.
Good luck

Then it might be boot loader dead , i think so , have u tried connecting the phone in flash mode and whether u see the phone in device manager something else lke unknown device or something else
My x10 was completely working even though all the tracks of the usb port and usb removed by charging the battery from the external source . so i think something might have been wrong for your phone dead problem praveen . take a closer look

Are you using the Sony charger or some other charger?
I had a strange thing with two different phones from other people (Galaxy S and S2 respectively); when using a cheapo mini charger I bought from Amazon their touchscreen wouldn't react at all while charging, but immediately react again when unplugged.
My Xperia S didn't do that however.
Maybe it's something like that in your case...
Yeah you do but if it solves the issue its fine i think... Its definitely not hw related else the phone wouldnt slow down... I think il try a factory reset tomorrow

Hello Developers actually i'm in deep trouble in the past few day my mini usb port has been broken so i made it repaired by a local vendor now it doesn't recognise my phone it only charge and i'm stuck on 2.1 update 1 after the repair was done now it shows me no service and i didnt root my phone so kindly give me suggestion to fix plz..
No root, so just try to go to PC companion and press REPAIR and try this or just go to repair shop and let them deal with this.
Sounds like it hasn't been repaired correctly, seems like the only thing fixed on it is the power pins and not the data pins I would take it back and get them to double check their work more than likely they will not accept responsebility for it so might be worth to take it to another repairer and get a second opinion

it has been repaired twice so any suggestions
Looks like its a hardware fault could be the actual mini USB port or the motherboard contacts which is more than likely due to the resoldering in the previous repairs so I would say its fault is on the motherboard near the mini USB port not sure if that can be repaired a new phone maybe required

Well for signal go to settings-networks&wireless-mobile networks and network mode and change it and see if it helps. And for USB thing. Make sure your PC is connected to the internet, turn off you phone and press the power button, when the phone vibrates connect the phone to the PC using the USB and see if the drivers get installed.

Hi!
I have the samsung galaxy note i717, a few days ago the phone shutted down by itself while i wasn't ussing it, it read online that it was too much apps. i did the soft and hard reset and i had the same issue, so i read the next step was a factory reset. so i did it, and wipe the cache. after that, the phone started to reboot/restart by itself while i wasn't using it or wasn't charging... i did the factory reset, reboot it and even reinstalled it the firmware again on kias, but, the problem keep happening. today i left it charging for a long time and the phone won't turn on, it doesn't even show the battery logo, no download mode, no safe mode, no reset mode... and i think it is hard bricked. i read about jtag, changing the motherboard, or use a jig... i want to know what u guys think about this... i bought it on ebay and i would have to return the phone otherwise, so i'm trying to fix it by myself...
ty :fingers-crossed:

I've kinda seen comments that jtaggn is like pretty efficient but you would have to do alot and jign plug tht thing and c if it will wake it up. Sometimes works and sometimes doesn't depends.how bricked the note is i guess a more direct app is jtaggn

JTAG is for a phone with the rom from another phone flashed to it. You can't enter recovery and Odin doesn't recognize it. It is the only way to bypass the boot and flash the correct rom.
Jig is for phones that won't go into recovery by software or buttons.
I think you have a battery issue. Trade with someone, then you will probably need the jig ($3.00 from ebay) to get into recovery.
well guys thanks a lot! but, i took it somewhere and the dude changed the battery nothing hapened and he told me i should just return it and i did. i loved that cellphone!
I have been having this problem since few days.
IT takes 3-5 tries to unlock my phone.
I tried everything -reverting to stock firmware, removing battery, removing memory card, etc.
I charged it once with a cheap charger and my problems started.
I've unlocked my bootloader so my warranty is now void.
Please help
I've read of problems caused by cheap battery chargers but I've always been casual about that
Seems it's time for me to be cautious while using a charger...

You are lucky man...your display is still surviving.
I once charged my phone via Samsung charger and my lcd was done away with...but don't worry about your bootloader...india hai...bootloader kya hota hai ye tak nahi pata hota yaha ke service centre walo ko...simple root tak to pata nahi hota...ha ha ha...just relock it by flashing the relock ftf and flash stock GB ftf and take it to them...and then show like you are a complete dumb who can't even install apps...and pretend like you know nothing how it happened.
I did the same thing and got my lcd replaced under warranty...but beware...if you don't mind your device lying there for a couple of months...go with it.
I got mine after 4mths.

Yeaah...just tell them u were updating firmware or repairing via pc comp and all off a sudden something(obviously u should not be knowing...bcoz u are a complete dumb) happened and the phone went dead...give it a soft brick...or just remove some system app so it goes into bootloop...but DON'T speak the word Bootloop...you know why...Ha Ha Ha.
If your device is bricked they simply repair it via pc companion...and since you already have relocked it...it will straight away start repairing it...hence they dont even think if it is locked or unlocked.

There is nothing to be done with the battery...relock the bootloader and try to repair via pc companion...and don't charge via non-sony charger. Also this may be kernel related. Playing with the voltages may be a cause..not to mention OC.

Just to clarify, so the device shutdown in the middle of flashing an update? Unfortunately if your device shutdown in the middle of a partially flashed update your likely hard bricked as some system files will have been modified while others will have not have been modified likely corrupting critical system files. Are you able to access recovery mode at all?

That's what I suspected, if the display doesn't turn on at all, no notification or power LED lights when turning on the tablet, or you don't feel a vibration when powering on the device, recovery mode or fastboot/similar flash mode can't be accessed then unfortunately the device is likely hard bricked. Warranty or JTAG would be your best option at this point.
I tried to JTAG it.
But i couldn't.. Can u explain me how to JTAG????
