First I must say, I'm noob who are curious and want to try to solve problems on their own.
I could not fix a problem now I need help.
The touchscreen on my HTC Wildfire S was broken and I replace a new touch screen, shown on the tutorial from youtube:

The phone seems to work but the touch screen does not respond.
I bought the same touchscreen model on ebay as you can see on the link:

All I did was right, but the tohttp://forum.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon1.gifuch screen does not work.
How can I make the touch screen work?

I have a Sprint Touch Pro(flashed to Verizon) with a broken touch screen. I believe I shattered the touch plate in the screen while wrestling a friend on the trampoline. The screen still displays perfect and of course the keyboard and d-pad work. I want to make use of it somehow but for that I will need a rom that doesn't need you to tap the screen to set-up, call, text, etc.
Most roms can function without using the touchscreen fine. You can navigate everything fairly freely without ever touching the screen.

I have HTC touch Pro 2/Tilt 2 and I am looking for a screen digitizer to be supplied to me in INDIA. Can somebody help me find a supplier and/or tell me ow much would it cost.
In the mean time, any help on how to use phone without using screen as input.

No help on finding a digitizer in india, but its strange that my phone's digitizer went out just a week ago, perhaps HTC is purposely forcing us all to upgrade by breaking our phones
just got an aria to replace it, android is nice but i miss that physical keyboard
the phone is very hard to use without touch screen input, i got it to work for most things, but things such as sending a text message didnt work, just learn to use those arrow keys on the physical keyboard and you should be able to do most things
Well, Thanks mate, It is quite difficult to use TP2 Pro without interacting with screen at all. as the keyboard does not have any keys or settings to define softkeys. All I am trying to do is find a way to use this phone, as I my opinion the only better than TP2 is DOPOD 838 PRO. you can use this phone to its full potential with or with touching screen and/or without hard keys. It had infrared, bluetooth, wlan, gprs, 3g and what not. the only thing it lacked in was processor and memory. Only if I can upgrade it. I would never give up my DOPOD 838 PRO.

Chances are that your hardware has a defect...
Have you installed any apps like CHT? ...with activated unlock code?
i already done hard and soft reset.. i cant even tap the skip button.
... than it really sounds like a hardware defect.
what part of hardware?
Who knows.
Maybe the touch sensor itself, maybe the connection wire, maybe the connector, maybe ...
Unfortunately 80% of the HD2's have this problem.

Hello everybody!
I recently got my Pipo M9 3G tablet, really nice tablet actually.
As I always do, I flashed my tablet with a custom rom, but accidently flashed it with a Pipo M9 PRO rom.
The difference between M9 and M9 PRO is that PRO has a 1920x1080 screen, while the M9 have 1280x720.
The tablet didnt start, ofc, and I realised I flashed the wrong firmware. So I downloaded the right one, flashed it, and got the tablet to boot.
But now, my touchscreen is inverted, and also only responsive on about 1/3 of the left part of the screen.

I contacted Pipo about it, and they sent me some new firmwares to try, but I never got it to work correctly.
They then gave me the option to pay 70$ to send it to them for them to fix it, but as the touchscreen itself isnt really broken I thought I'd turn to you guys first to see if anyone may have the answer to my problems.
I'd like to believe it has something to do with the drivers for the touchscreen, but as my knowledge about android isnt THAT good, I may be completely wrong.

I have a pocket neo (s5301 I) whose touch screen broke. I tried to find a replacement for it but only found a panel for pocket duos (not neo) don know the exact touch screen model. Got it changed but the phone became kinda useless as the touch is almost non-responsive. It does work but is very messy. Sometimes I have to press it hard and sometimes very light. Is there a software workaround for this problem?
What I'm trying to ask is that what if I flash a duos rom on this device? Will it contribute anything to improve the touch experience?
Since the phone came from another country, it's not possible to find its exact parts here so have to rely on what I could find in the market.
Is there anything that can help?
