roms have nothing to do with it in any case ????
Its very rare but a dirty flash could cause misalignment. Completely different symptoms however.

I don't know but when my touch was the same issue I restore sbf and some correction was done.

I'm having some issues with my DX2's screen, sometimes if I apply pressure around where the hardware buttons on the bottom are the screen will select something much further up on the screen. I assume it's something to do with my parts being to pushed together but I'm not sure. If anyone has any idea how I can fix this it would be super appreciated.
I've ran into a similar screen issues while on stock 418 OTA also had another issue. It was as if I already had a finger on the screen while using stock browser so when I go to touch it automatically zooms in and out. Even continues to do so even if I take my finger off the screen. Strangely I've enough never had these is on 2.34 tho.
DEVICES; MOTOROLA DX2, SAMSUNG GALAXY SIII (PRE-ORDER).

Are you on stock or a ROM?
I was on stock 2.3.5 and on CM9 the times it has happened.

Not that often but usually once a day. I believe it's a hardware problem with something to do with the piece right below my buttons and the rest of the phone if you know what I'm talking about.

If you're still under warranty from moto then probably. Otherwise, you would have to pay the replacement fee if you have insurance through version.

any chance your battery is just too low to power it on? Can you leave it plugged for a little and see if it boots later or try a different (charged) battery?
Did both, no luck
Also my computer will not pick it up

Try going through the whole process of installing it again. It sounds like something isn't connected. I mean if its dead and cant hurt it anymore.
Same thing happened to me. Had to get a new rez. I was overly cautious and took my time and I still can't figure out where I went wrong.

Hi all! Now I have this problem. I need to hardly press touchscreen in order to type here and anywhere else. I tried many keyboards and it didn't solve. I was using CM9 and after some days, tge problem started. I removed screen guard also but it didn't helped. I flash also GB and ICS firmware but the problem didn't solved. Why? Scrolling through touch was fine but start up pressing was hard to tiuch and that problem really kill me on using keyboard and playing games. Any idea?

It seems that many of us are having this issue. In my case I deducted it's digitizer problem

Hi,
My galaxy star's (s5282) touch screen becomes least responding when trying to unlock it after a few hours of putting it in sleep mode.
Is it just me?
I was thinking the minimum frequency must probably be too low, hence the delay. I will have to click the power button few times consecutively and then the screen starts detecting the touch.
Is there any kernel with option to change the clock frequencies?
Or is there any other solution for this?
Thanks in advance!

This must be due to lower power after deep sleep right?
Other wise the screen seems to be responding fine.. Or is there a need to take to service center? I doubt they are gonna do anything about it..

Yep it is active upto an hour i think. Then u have to wait for 2 seconds for touch response to work.
Its normal problem with sam lockscreen

Hmmm.. It actually isn't the case with other Samsung devices I have.. So was curious what's wrong.. Anyway.. Guess it's a compromise we gotta do for the cost of the phone..

Maybe it may really be a real problem in ur firmware
Try flashing stock before making conclusions
Make it an older one so tht rooting is easier

I'm using stock itself. I've just rooted phone and added some performance scripts and removed bloat.
It's been the same way even before i rooted. While it was pure stock..
Which scripts

Hi!
Sometimes vibrate in my Xperia Z2 doesn't work... :crying: What is going on?
Ive have the issue too and it seems to be a hardware issue
The issue persists across firmwares
Im replacing my device in hopes i dont face the same issue, i recomend you do the same if posible

I was having this issue as well but it seems to have stopped randomly after a little. What I did was touch a magnet to the bottom on back and hopefully set it back in place. Hasn't stopped in over 24 hours. Another thing I'd recommend is if you're bootloader unlocked and you're turning you're voltage down to stop cause that could be the cause of it since the motor isn't getting enough voltage
Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
Well I spoke too soon... Just stopped vibrating till I hit it. Sigh :/

So I'm bringing the phone into square trade... They're gonna look at it and see if they can fix it... I hope they notice it since it's not all the time... If they can't fix it they're gonna reimburse me for it.
