[Q] superoneclick not able to sucessfully root Experia Mini

I recently rooted my Experia Mini 2.1 using SUPERONECLICK. It was able to install Superuser, i was under the impression that i got it rooted. When i installed Rootverifier it and allowed SU permission, it tells me that i do not have root permission. Busybox also prompts the same error. Can i reroot this phone? I need help! I am trying to accomplish this task as i want to maximize the use of my SDCARD which is 8 GB. The phone memory is juts to low. Thanks!
Just download adb mask controller. Go to your phone at settings->applications->development->check usb debugging.Connect it to pc and run adb mask controller.exe. Then "refresh connection" and then "check root and busybox".
Credits go to the dev of the program.

Ribben

Use the program I've attached. It's super important to reboot your device for the root to successfully work!
Root Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro U20a V2.1.1.A.0.6
Dude,
You rock! I'm been trying to root this **###** phone for over a week and between all the info here on XDA and this post string, I was finally able to do it!
Thanks to ribben - You were the final nail to unlock this rooted phone coffin. domi007 and CLShortFuse for all your great info. And finally rparafina for posting the exact same questions that I had.
You guys (maybe gals) saved me from having to spend ??$$?? just to get a phone with the ability to download and use more apps on my SD card.
Thanks again & peace from San Diego!!

[Q] Can't write files with DDMS File Manager

I'm testing ROM 2.3.3 from WolfBreak (V3.5) and I can't push files into /system with DDMS File Manager.
Error is : Permission denied
Also "adb push" don't want to write...
But with "adb shell", when I have requested rights with "su" command, I can make all I want.
Is there a special update to DDMS for this version ???
ADB seems to be a bit sketchy with the new 2.3.3 Roms, well, on Wolfs 2.3.3 at least. It works fine in recovery mode, but has Permission Denied errors as you have stated when using the phone as normal.
Short term solution: Get xRecovery, boot into it, ADB and DDMS should work,.
Long term solution: I'm not sure... I haven't searched yet but there might be a fix out there.

[Q] su permission denied for Android 2.2 SPICE Tablet

Hi,
I have SPICE Mi 720 Tablet which runs on Android 2.2 . I installed terminal emulator to have a command prompt access to Android. But for most of the unix commands, I am getting permission denied error. I want to use "su" for installing something but its not allowed. Looks like the tablet is not having rooted OS.
Can anybody please help me on this?
Many Thanks,

[Q] BusyBox, unable to confirm location

Hello all,
So I am trying to install Flashex script to run some flash through DolphinBrowser. In the Process of doing that I installed BusyBox, SManager and Terminal Emulator
The problem is that everytime I try to run the Flashex in either Terminal Emulator or SManager i get the error message " Unable to confirm location of Busybox, please make sure you have busybox installed"
I have, busy box installed, re-installed it, tried installing it in /system/bin but to no avail.
I tried to reconfigure Terminal preferences as per this thread but still get same error message
I would greatly appreciate some help here as I am no expert in the inner workings of Android
PS: Device is Galaxy S4 Rooted with CF Autoroot and still on Stock ROM.
