Do you have extweaks on your rom; If yes, click on the apps and reset fuel guage.
If not download it andfd then use it to reset the fuel guage.
I did that and it was a little prove .but i hard use steel close .

Better battery stats for the wakelocks and cpu spy to see if your device is deep sleeping. And if you just flashed something give it a few battery cycles before you judge the battery

Check with other battery, it happen to me and is a hardware problem and not from the ROM or Kernel or calibration... if with another battery is the same, then try to bring it in technical support.
By the way, don't buy a new battery, use a battery from other friend... =)
I have a SD card
hey guys,
I've moved some apps to the external sd card.
After resting my S 2 I've re install the SD but cant move the apps back...
how do I do it?
Tnx
If i make full format (factory rest) will fix it? I think is the drivers. Or not ?

Hi lads I'm on hydrogenics latest with fluxii RC4 I am having serious battery drain. Took phone off charge at 9 this morning and I am all ready at 89 in 30 mins.
It's not this rom either because I had same issue with cm9 and omega ics also.
Is their a way I can COMPLETELY wipe phone to out of the box factory setting? I feel like I'm running out of ideas here haha. I have used titanium to reinstall all apps should I perhaps try fresh install of apps with next rom wipe.?
Thanks

Enter CWR, factory reset. That should do the trick. Or install BetterBatteryStats en check what's draining your phone.

Thanks. Is the factory reset in Cwm the same as reset in recovery mode? Ie does it do the same thing?
I have better battery stats. Not very familiar with it to be honest.
Thanks

CWR=ClockWorkmodRecovery, so yeah it's the same, it wipes all your user data. Check kernel wakelocks in BBS and search for a fix.
I don't know what barto gets out of being a ****.
Anyway the best thing to do is to do a "dump to file" with the BBS app. Then show the file to the experts over at the BBS thread, they'll help you.

Hi All,
Coming from a iPhone4, I noticed that even overnight when the phone is in standby the % drop in the battery is greater on the SGS3.
I am currently running the Omega V25 ROM and the battery drain when in standby is about 10-13% over 7hrs in standby whilst I am sleeping. I read a few days back on the Omega forum (cannot find it again) one of the users saying how great the battery life was for them...something like 1% drop over a few hours in standby....do you know if there is some trick to get such good performance?
I have used good programs like Juice Defender which brings it back to on par with the iPhone4, but does get a bit annoying sometimes waiting for the network connections to restart. Sometimes it even refuses to restart the network which is VERY annoying. I was wondering if there was something I am missing that can get great battery life (IN STANDBY) without 3 party programs like Juice Defender etc....
Thanks,
Ray
Its really all about multiple things
Make sure you got a good kernel. ..I recommend siyah
Imo juice defender hurts more than helps
Check your background apps running and close often
If your going to sleep turn off Mobile data unless you got stuff going on ...dl's dropbox ext...

Go offline on Gtalk, Turn off Wifi/mobile data while not in use. Other thing I do is Download CPUspy on Google Play to verify the Cpu Usage.
With power saving mode enabled I loose only 1-2% of battery juice over night. (Mobile data disabled, gsm only mode).
i9.0.1.3k galaxy imperator
First thing you do is turn off the WIFI or 3G(Mobile data) if you are not using it.
Siyah Kernel

What siyah did you flash? You must flash the kernel for jb leak which is 1.6 and not 1.5.3 because it is for ICS rom. Did you perform wipe cache / wipe dalvik cache?

Hi!
I gotta advise you that juicedefender/other battery defending apps hurt more than it should actually help. Think of it this way, juicedefender is also an app. App=RAM consumption, High RAM consumption=High battery consumption.
Also, flashing a custom kernel can help out. There are tweaks which you can do with custom kernels.
E.G. *Undervolting [if you are a total noob on this, then you might read thoroughly how to do this]
You can have manual settings to low screen brightness, not go to vibrate mode, led notif off, etc. And more importantly, CLOSE APPS THAT RUN IN BACKGROUND Such as: Facebook
You can never really rely that let's say, Person1 is having awesome battery life with KernelX because it depends mainly on your SETTINGS and STANDARD USAGE
I hope this will help you out

Well, I think it happened cause I put 1.5.2 siyah which located at Omega Kitchen...So I need to find siyah 1.6? then go Recovery > wipe cache > wipe dalvik cache? Is that so??

That's the reason why. Yes you can try that. Try to wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing siyah 1.6. If it does not help then the only option you can make is to full wipe and flash again the rom

Here are some tips:
1. Put wi-fi policy to never. It's in wi-fi settings.
2. Disable unnecessary sync (FB, google, email etc)
3. Install custom kernel, like others said.
4. Install better battery stats and find what's causing your phone awake (wake locks)

Whether Juice defender helps or not depends on your usage scenario and the app configuration (it literally has tons of options)
High ram usage equalling high battery coumption is bollocks. Each and every single operating system out there will try to fill the whole ram because it actually SAVES power and makes the device FASTER.

^^Was gonna post this myself.
Ram uses the same amount of power whether it is full or empty.
Having it filled with apps saves CPU cycles and therefore battery.

1)Calibrate your battery via CWM recovery (wipe battery stats option) or with an app from playstore.
2)Wipe cache/dalvik cache and reboot.
3)Reflash your ROM.
4)If the above do not solve the issue try to full wipe and flash again.
5)Do not forget to look at your ROM's OP(original post) in order to check if other users have/had the same issue.
Hope I helped

just change your usb ceble.then everything is ok.sotmax rom is so good
I was using the stock Samsung charger that came with my GT-I9300, but I added a male<->female USB extender between the Samsung USB cable and the Samsung wall charger. After about a week I realised it was taking ALL night to charge (and by all night I mean it was just finishing up when I woke up the next day).
Removing that extender and just using the phone-supplied components makes the phone charger MUCH faster now. Moral of the story, check your charging equipment and try out other cables/adapters/etc.
Thanks , I just change the usb cable and know its charging normally

Hi all,
I seem to be having issues regarding charging with the Xperia U, I've installed a custom rom & kernel now i charged my phone throughout the night while there was no background applications running and its only made it to 52% charged on average it normally reaches no more then 72%. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
Thanks in Advance

I dnt think it's a faulty charger/cable coz if dat was faulty den ur phone wouldn't have charged at all try to re flash a stock ftf n see if d problem persists n if it does d somethings really wrong
Also try to compare battery time previously n now even dat can give u better overview of your problem

Before using a custom Rom I was using the stock Rom for a few days and the problem was still there so I flashed a new custom Rom (Experience 2.1) which works great but I'm still having the same battery issue where it doesn't seem to charge 100%, since having the phone which is about 1 week it's charged fully once to 100% and there on after averages about 72% after a full night's charge..

Dont know if anyone faced this prob...but this evening suddenly the battery started draining quickly...it went from 19% to 2% in about 10mins without any running apps...put the phone on charge and restarted the phone...and after the usual restart process there was a msg 'No connection, cannot download attachment'...and the phone was hardly charging...switched off the phone, took the battery off and switched back on...the msg was shown again, but now its charging again properly...

And after performing this update, it eats battery so fast for the very first day. It is because of creating cache file may be as during update it auto wipe cache status and for this reason first five minutes phone also become a bit laggy but after that everything is going very smooth and fast and now battery issue also no more.
