1)Calibrate your battery via CWM recovery (wipe battery stats option) or with an app from playstore.
2)Wipe cache/dalvik cache and reboot.
3)Reflash your ROM.
4)If the above do not solve the issue try to full wipe and flash again.
5)Do not forget to look at your ROM's OP(original post) in order to check if other users have/had the same issue.
Hope I helped

just change your usb ceble.then everything is ok.sotmax rom is so good
I was using the stock Samsung charger that came with my GT-I9300, but I added a male<->female USB extender between the Samsung USB cable and the Samsung wall charger. After about a week I realised it was taking ALL night to charge (and by all night I mean it was just finishing up when I woke up the next day).
Removing that extender and just using the phone-supplied components makes the phone charger MUCH faster now. Moral of the story, check your charging equipment and try out other cables/adapters/etc.
Thanks , I just change the usb cable and know its charging normally

Better battery stats for the wakelocks and cpu spy to see if your device is deep sleeping. And if you just flashed something give it a few battery cycles before you judge the battery

Check with other battery, it happen to me and is a hardware problem and not from the ROM or Kernel or calibration... if with another battery is the same, then try to bring it in technical support.
By the way, don't buy a new battery, use a battery from other friend... =)
I have a SD card

Hello all,
I have an Xperia U. And I flashed the Vengeance Kernel for Xperia U (v1.22). But the v1.22 release was bad so my phone wouldn't boot.
I tried putting in the USB with vol button up but now no blue LED lights up. Even Flashmode with Green LED isn't working. When I connect
the USB to phone only the charging LED comes on. The PC also doesn't detect any response. Help, please!
I've tried other threads too, but no solution
Try pull out the battery. Get into fastboot and flash other working kernel.
via Tapatalk.
Not working. When I connect PC to phone with volume buttons pressed, the Charging LED comes on but not the Blue or Green LED
I'm trying to charge the phone for 3-4 hours now, maybe the battery drained out.........

Take out battery for few hours then put it in,don't do anything just connect phone with computer in flash mode and flash stock kernel.
Isn't taking out battery for 20 seconds the same thing as removing battery for hours? I think the phone is failing to charge in the bricked state and thus not fastbooting. Do you recommend a factory charge cable?

Device is not bricked with earlier 1.22 release. It just doesn't boot. Other users who didn't get the device to boot reverted to stock kernel successfully. Where you went wrong?
Does this has something to do wid offline charging??

Hi ,yesterday I faced the same problem when i flashed a kernal for xperia sola ,
I tried this procedure( with full charge ) , & i got my mobile back to normal state
try to hold both power button & vol+ button for 5 sec (upto 3 to 5 vibrations) ,
and leave the button .After that ur mobile should start normally
FYI
After reboot, touchscreen willn't responds after 30 to 50sec bcz of corrupt kernel ,so i did FACTORY DATA RESET before it go to non-responeded state.
Now , my mobile is back to normal .
Hopefully this process may solve ur problem.

Which version you tried flashing and on which Rom you were when you flashed the kernel???????

My phone is back online. As doctor sanket said the kernel which wouldn't boot, didn't allow my already almost drained battery not to charge. After a day of thought, I powered up my Xperia through splicing a USB cable and gave it just enough charge for one fast boot. I flashed a working kernel and then offline charging worked.... Earlier the phone just didn't have any power to respond

Please try to find a way to remove your battery. Maybe your battery is dead and the spoilt kernel isn't allowing it to charge

Sir i have been using the kernel and the rom for the last 10 days or so, and this happened suddenly do you think that the problem is because of the kernel ?? i mean the kernel was in use for the past 10 days this could have happened before only if the kernel is spoiled, any suggestions ??

Hi all,
I seem to be having issues regarding charging with the Xperia U, I've installed a custom rom & kernel now i charged my phone throughout the night while there was no background applications running and its only made it to 52% charged on average it normally reaches no more then 72%. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
Thanks in Advance

I dnt think it's a faulty charger/cable coz if dat was faulty den ur phone wouldn't have charged at all try to re flash a stock ftf n see if d problem persists n if it does d somethings really wrong
Also try to compare battery time previously n now even dat can give u better overview of your problem

Before using a custom Rom I was using the stock Rom for a few days and the problem was still there so I flashed a new custom Rom (Experience 2.1) which works great but I'm still having the same battery issue where it doesn't seem to charge 100%, since having the phone which is about 1 week it's charged fully once to 100% and there on after averages about 72% after a full night's charge..

After doing abit more research into the issue i flashed a new kernel (Vengeance 1.25) and disabled usb-debugging and now the phone seems to be charging correctly for anyone thats curious on the solution to the issue.

Dont know if anyone faced this prob...but this evening suddenly the battery started draining quickly...it went from 19% to 2% in about 10mins without any running apps...put the phone on charge and restarted the phone...and after the usual restart process there was a msg 'No connection, cannot download attachment'...and the phone was hardly charging...switched off the phone, took the battery off and switched back on...the msg was shown again, but now its charging again properly...

And after performing this update, it eats battery so fast for the very first day. It is because of creating cache file may be as during update it auto wipe cache status and for this reason first five minutes phone also become a bit laggy but after that everything is going very smooth and fast and now battery issue also no more.

Always do a battery calibration whenever you do a update otherwise it will eat your battery performance.
