I have a S3 that received OTA and I updated. I am talking about a stock S3, no root, no changes. The phone died and I could not enter recovery mode. I can only enter the Odin Mode. I tried first with Keis in some computer and cables but Keis cannot recognize the phone.
I then tried ODIN 3.07 with a stock image but that didnt work. (see below, it says there is no pit partition). I also tried to repartition but it fails.
I tried ODIN in several computer and several cables as well, including a Windows XP.
This appear on the phone:
Code:
"Odin Mode
Product name: GT-I9300
Custom binary Download: no
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom".
Code:

<ID:0/005> FAIL!

Any ideas on how to fix this?

My phone has been softbricked(stuck on samsung logo) and the recovery mode has been blocked by frp lock.

Have you tried just flashing the stock firmware with Odin?? That usually fixes that problem. If not try bypassing FRP.
Hey all,
Long story short is my VZW SM-N950U Note 8 is not working well on T-Mobile because it still has VZW firmware. I downloaded Odin 3.07 and 3.12 and used samfirm to get the TMO firmware. I've attempted to DL multiple times and it fails. Is there something else I have to do, or is it just not possible to do? Also it never gets a loading bar or anything, just fails or stick on setup connection.
Thanks in advance below is the cut n paste of the log from odin 3.12

I once tried to autoroot it but I factory reset it because the sim didn't work, and I went to developer options and had it OEM Locked, I don't know what was I thinking, seriously, and I tried to use Odin v3 to flash original firmware into it, It gives me this: <ID:0/005> Added!!
