Hi, this is just probably a stupid question, but is there anyway of unlocking bootloader when it says that it is not allowed after typing in *#*#7378423#*#* and going to Service Info, configuration? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
By the way, I did google it.

Hey friend,
You have to unlock bootloader by SE Unlock bootloader 1.6v. This thread is available in development section. Just follow step by step.

This will not work as it is the official way to unlock the bootloader.
Currently the only way seems only via paid method because fastboot is not enabled.

That is because you had Bootloader Unlock Allowed: Yes.
He has it No, which means his fastboot is not enabled.

You need to do it via specific paid method, because you also need to get fastboot enabled. Just getting unlock code from network operator will not help, as it doesn't enable the fastboot and Bootloader Unlock Allowed stays No.
So first I relock the boot loader then flash ph85img then I'm set

Either answer the question or ignore the thread. You didn't help anybody by posting that non sense. We all know the rules here. I did search forums but was unsure whether I'd have to unlock bootloader or not.

yeah.. just update your phone using PC Companion or SEUS or flash a firmware file using flashtool and it will be as good as a new phone out of the box
After i've flashed a stock rom for my S3, my phone keeps getting stuck in the bootloader. I've used this tutorial: http://gs3.wonderhowto.com/how-to/root-your-samsung-galaxy-s3-and-flash-stock-roms-using-odin-for-windows-0142713/
Any solutions?
Try reading in general forum, stickies.
You probably need to boot into recovery and factory reset, clear cache.

Hello,
Sorry to start this thread because I have read many but can't find the actual help to ROOT this device Verizon HTC6435LVW.
When I go into bootloader I see this (Image: Bootloader)
and when I try to install recovery got this;

Can someone tell me where to unlock my bootloader or how to root this device.
Thanks in advance.
Been so long I fooled with it. But try this?

Before you can send a recovery you need to unlock the bootloader and achieve soff. Like mentioned above the website linked is a one click program that will unlock and turn the device soff. From there you can flash a custom recovery and then flash the newest su zip found on the su website and you will achieve root.

Make sure to use the DNA specific one or it won't work. Let me know if you run into any issues and I can help you out. But it's pretty self explanatory. Follow the directions and profit. Good luck.
