Using this reference, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27345435&postcount=19 you can set the debug level to DHGH via *#9900# System Dump Mode. When you press Power-High-Home the GS3 shows "Hardware Reset" and what looks to be some variable status. There is a send and receive USB endpoint, and using heimdall I can try to handshake but fails to receive a response.

My phones come back from Samsung after being sent off for repair in some sort of diagnostic mode. Does anyone have any idea how to sort it, so that I donj't have to send it away again? it shows up on the home screen, and displays 'on top' of the app menu etc - it's a right pain in the backside!

I've noticed, that you can't save changes on the proxy- or ip-settings for a wifi-network.
You need to remove the network and reenter it to change the settings.

Trying to install the XDA gesture for android on my LG G6 I had to connect the phone to the computer to authorize the app with android ADB through a string, but when I connect the phone with the USB debugging active, I get this message out, and if I click ok, this warning comes out, how can I solve it?

I already added my device and account in "Mi Unlock Status" from Developers Option.
Now I'm trying to apply for an unlock request so I can write my reason to why should I unlock but when I go to miui.com/unlock/apply.php it says "No Input file specified".

Short the test point with ground and then connect phone to your Windows computer and the phone will show up as COM PORT in
the device manager. Now you can use any tool to wipe data or factory reset the phone.
