OK i KNOW
but it didn't help me
the files that are there are corrupt.
and the instructions they don't match, i don't know what to do there.
anyone knows how or where
anyone knows how or where can i download new recovery+kernel+pit file ?
or at least point me to the right files for me ?
coz in the mentioned thread the pit file is in the GB section and the recovery pack that i think i need'
are in the ics section and the kernel for the ICS is corrupt so i cant use it.
or is it ok to use syiah kernel instead ?
my problem is when i try to install new ROM it stops when trying to write the nand part.
Yiu going to have to download the whole rom and flash with odin

Put any firmware stock or custom to pda, dont touch anything else. Firmware must by .tar or .md5.
Here you can find roms http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529173 or stock on sammobile.com.

thank you for your help but.
i tried this, cant flash a rom trough odin dont know why -something about the nand
If you are stuck at nand write whatever you have tried, i think its corrupted and its time to change your motherboard... This happened to another guy earlier on...

If you get a nand flashing error, then just use correct pit plus repartition marked... in most cases it is enough to just flash pit area, plus of cause a stock rom

Hi guys.
Here's a little update what i've done with my phone.
Last night i have flashed ICS KP8 through ODIN.
I have reverted to GB this morning 2.3.5 and now i want to flash my stock firmware 2.3.4 I9100XWKI4 (TWO).
I have downloaded the desired ROM (I9100XWKI4_I9100XXKI1_I9100OXFKE1_HOME.tar.md5) from SAMMMOBILE but when i extracted it it only contains 1 file of size 539MB.
So...this is my question...where am i supposed to put that file in ODIN and do i need something else or just this file?
Tnx in advance
Follow instructions from the firmware provider makes sense .
No idea whats in the file from another forum .
Usual is to flash tar via PDA .

Maybe it's a one part .tar file? (Just to put in PDA)
Pls write the name of file here.
But to get sure, download the firmware, u want, from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
Flash like instruction says and all should be fine
PS: If u want to be sure what's on with downloaded file, pls complete name...
CHEERS
Tar.md5 "one big file" roms just go in the PDA slot and Odin will work it out.
The md5 bit just means that Odin will do a checksum to make sure the file isn't corrupt, so no need to extract it.
Also make sure you flash the GB bootloaders first, available in the thread linked above

Firstly Don't panic
Does the phone open in download mode ? if it does just flash only the firmware again place the firmware in the PDA section of the odin and that should do the trick ...... and btw wrong section.
If it does'nt just get a jig to boot up the phone in download mode ....

When flash stock firmware you must have 4 files PDA,CSC,MODEM,PIT. If firmware is one package then you can split it via splitfus. I recommend 4 files stock firmware. It is easy to flash.Search in Development and General Section, you will get your country's stock firmware.
Hit thanks if I help

After multiple flash i loose CWM and now i can,t reflash it !! WHY??
i think my problem's cames from a bad PIT file, this is the only file i can flash with odin and succès.(YP-G1Intl.pit) and i don't know if it is the good one for my player.
If someone have and idea for help me...... please.

You should boot back into download mode, flash the PIT file, then the CWM kernel and if you're unable to flash any ROM with CWM, you should flash the stock ROM with ODIN.

As drakonizer said, yes you should be able to get into download mode. The problem comes indeed from the fact that you're using a wrong pitfile (YP-G1 is SGP 4.0 whereas YP-GI1 is SGP 4.2) Maybe retrying with the good pit file should do the trick.

THANKS @zaclimon ! I am so sorry I misread YPG1 as YPGI1, please don't try to use that!
Here is a pit file you can use
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1324378&d=1347565906
...there is no PIT file that is uploaded for the INTL GP4.2, but I'm pretty sure that there is no difference between the US and INTL versions with respect to the PIT file...you can try anyway

You should flash your stock ROM with ODIN from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1884071
Since your device is not YP-GI1/XEF, you might break your wifi, but you can fix it with the files from the CWM kernel thread.
