[Q] how to not need to re-install all user apps after flash a new ROM?

I do not use Google backup as I do not sync phone contacts with Google contact.
I do use Titanium Backup, but I do have some concerns about flashing different version of ROM likes 2.3.4 and 2.3.5. Can titanium backup and restore apps in different flavours (likes CM7, AOSP or etc.) / different version (2.3.5 or 2.3.4 or 2.3.3) ?
I also have moved all user apps to sd cards (sd-ext) using Link2SD.
Can I just flashed a new ROM, and use those apps directly?
Also, does boot manager compatible with our phone LG P500? (I know I could just install it and try, just asking if anyone has tried)
Thanks.
For titanium backup question, yes
There is a thread on boot manager in the themes and app section u may want to check it out
On ext stuff, I'm quite useless sorry.

[Q] Titanium Backup create backup of currently installed apps

I want to create a backup set of my currently installed apps for being able to restore those after a wipe and romantic newinstall.
The Titanium Backup help tells me I can filter for installed apps but I don't have/find this option?
Also may have to use labels but I don't know how/why?
Can anyone give me a short advise or fingerpoint on how to create a backup Snapshost of current installations and how to restore after clean romantic install?
Go into backup and restore and select apps to which you want to backup and press backup... Down..
But I want to batch backup all currently installed apps without selecting each and every single app separately?

Try with Titanium Backup....here:

PRESS TNX BUTTON IF I HELP YOU :good:
Yeah use Titanium Back Up as mentioned in the post above.
Once u open TB, on the top right of the screen u will see a tick within a box. Click on this. It will open Batch Backup/Restore options.
Click on Backup all user apps before flashing a new ROM.
once u have flashed a new rom, click on Restore missing apps with data.
Titanium backup
Ultimate Backup
App2Zip - You choose the apps you want and it puts them in a flashable zip on your SD card or internal storage. When you install your new ROM, just install the flashable zip and you have your apps back. Only thing is, it doesn't save the app data with it
AppExtractor - You can extract and install apps AND/OR app data from CWM recovery backups. You can also restore WiFi info, Bluetooth settings, contacts n I think a couple of other things.
All in the market.

Switching from one App backup to another! (and a good Application Manager)

I install a lot of apps (as most of the people here, do), and I don't keep a track record of them! Some times I dont have internet connection but I want to install a previously installed app (that I uninstalled).
I used AppMoster Pro for this earlier! I want to switch to App Backup & Restore.
The problem is that, I had over 220 apps backup with App Monster, now I want to move them to this new app. I need a simpler way to do this as I can not install and then uninstall these apps!
AppMoster backup up apps in form of Folders.
App Backup & Restore does it like saving .apk BUT adding some version code or something at the end of filename.
Also please suggest a good App Manager (Backup and Restore, app only - no data).

Application Monitor App on stock ICS 4.0.3

Hey Guys
The thing is i love the application monitor app on ICS 4.0.3.. Now since yesterday, i have been trying few aosp/aokp roms for the first time..and i dont find any application monitor/ task manager in those roms..i dont like the market apps for this purpose..
So is there anyway i could use this application monitor app (marked in red in Titanium Backup) in a aosp cm9/cm10 rom? That is i have taken the backup of application monitor and would like to restore it once i install cm9/cm10 rom? Will that be possible without causing unecessary problems/troubles?
thanks

there is a software named Link2SD which converts system app to user app... u can try converting application monitor app(marked in red) into user app, then backup with titanium backup n restoring it in custom ROM...
i haven't tried this method myself, but i guess it should work...
