Lol, it is a relatively warmer place
It has not even snowed once in my city
night temperatures during winters are around 10 degree celcuis

I sleep at below 5 degrees celsius so this isn't normal

How to solve?
1st : Factory Reset?
2nd : Reflash?
Yeah! I got that once or twice
I think it's a mental thing... had the same ghost vibrate or ring a few times well...even with my old nokia 5800

Did it twice yesterday. Suppose it gives the phone individuality.

Mine just has seizures from time to time. Mostly when I am typing. I found that if I am typing too fast the screen locks up and it vibrates for a solid 5 seconds, then the screen un-freezes and all the letters I hit before it froze appear.
Seems like my X10 can't keep up with my lightning fast typing speed.
Same here lol

Don't you wake up after having a bad dream sometimes? ;-)

Perhaps you had your laptop on the sofa at the same time. That will vibrate it a bit......
Perhaps I didn't...

There is a separate Q&A thread and there are so many posts regarding battery issues and heating problems. I suggest you first search for what you're looking for and if you don't find what you're looking for, then you can start a new thread. This helps keeping the fourm clean with less spam/duplicate posts.
Anyway regarding your question, to what temperature does your phone get heated up to? I suggest you use a battery monitor widget like bad ass battery monitor to check your temperature. My SGS3 heats up to 50°c with just 1 hour of continuous gaming or web browsing.
Here is a thread regarding this. Hope this helps

There could be other problems, better go to a service center for assessment.

Max battery temperature?

Hello guys,
I have one Q.
What is yours battery max temperature ?
I have instaled battery info app which has temperature indicator.
Today was almost 42ºc.
Is this normal temperature?
I'm a little bit worried, because S3 has one major problem probably with mother board and it's over heating.
Thanks in advance for your ansvers.

Thanks man for your answer.
I m glad it's nothing to worry about.
What do you think is the max temperature that won't harm the phone?

Normally the temp will go till 60 c. If it go above 60c your battery might have problem. The battery will broke if it too hot or it will discharge fast.

Thanks man.
This is the info that I've been waitng for.

From experience
well i have a habit of overusing my phones capability.
the battery stop charging when it hits 60C.
i accidentally kept my phone under a pillow while downloading some stuff when i found my hand kind of burned and when i checked it the temperature was 70C
i still dont have any problem. i just removed the casing and held it to the AC for a few minutes and it was alryt.
my advice is never leave ur phone under a pillow ever again!!

[Q] DNA Overheating issues

Anyone else have issues with their phone getting super hot? Mines been up to 46°C, just from using it for about an hour. Its not rooted or anything. Completely stock.

My phone did this last week. Im rooted and running CM10 had been for like 2+ months. I made a call on the speakerphone and the phone got extremely hot then my speakerphone blew out! Ended up getting a replacement.

Is the phone not being used or are you doing anything when it gets hot. This phone for me anyway hasn't gotten nearly as warm as my nexus 4
