Notification Volume - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

So I have tried to turn down the volume of the notification sound and it seems like it does not get very quiet at all. I have it at the lowest setting before it actually goes to silent. Is anyone else having this problem or is there a way that I can make these notification sounds quieter so they do not wake the dead?

You could find the tones online or ones you prefer more, then lower the volume of them with audacity or some other free software.

In facebook hit menu button then Settings>Notification Ringtone to change it. It's possible it got pointed toward a tone that doesn't exist anymore somehow.

Was there any solution to this? I have the same problem where the notification volume is way too high, and moving the slider in the settings does practically nothing. The volume sliders work fine for the media, system, and phone ringtones. However, the one for notification seems broken. I tried searching, but found nothing similar. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I use SuperBox Pro for my volume settings.

Bug With incoming caller with hidden caller id

Hi Zettlers,
I just had an incoming caller with hidden id and noticed a Bug after hanging up the Phone.
The call was still in the notification bar and was undeletable. Also the time was still counting. I even switched to plane Mode to make sure the call is really hang up but it was still counting.
After a reboot the notification was gone.
Anionen noticed this too?

Just hung up from an unknown dialer call; didn't notice anything like that. Probably (hopefully) some one-off derp.
Thanks for trying.
I just came up with the idea, if it might is connected to the feature "Intelligent call handling" that can be activated under "Settings/Personlization/Motion". Do you have this activated?

Nope. Innovation in all glory but some things need to stay old school..
Now I even had the bug, when I called someone.
That's really weird.

What causes missed alarms on Android/CyanogenMod?

Anybody know what causes the alarm to fail to go off?
I didn't ignore it, it simply did not sound. Nothing on the screen, no alarm noise. Several hours later, I get this popup:

I have searched the thread for the ROM (Sultan's Marshmallow) and forum for the phone (OnePlus One) and it just doesn't seem to be happening to anyone else.
I guess it is doze related but I have the clock set already to 'not optimised' and it has made no difference.
Any ideas? Thanks :good:

Try installing another alarm app. It might be related to deep sleep or doze as well.
If another alarm app does the same then it definately is something else.

lock screen flashlight shortcut toggled by tap

This is too specific for googling,

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If you go into settings > lock screen > shortcuts
and then place flashlight as one of the shortcuts (which I recommend by the way), and lets say, place camera on the other side..
For some reason, the flashlight is (also) toggled by tap rather then swipe like the other widgets.
(same thing for the Do Not Distrub mode)
This causing a lot of accident toggles from edge palm holding and I find my flashlight on by accident multiple times..
I couldn't find any way to change the way the flashlight is toggled, swipe is perfectly fast enough for me and secure enough to avoid accidental toggles.
Any idea how to solve this?
Thanks!
I had the same issue and after the last update, it went back to swipe.

Seems like you have hotspot on, or something like it. If you do, just go to settings ,and then the connection/internet tab. Should be somewhere in there.
I do indeed I have it set up on macrodroid as a tasker to automatically turn on when I am in my car.
Problem is that this notification stalls the change from wifi to hotspot.

I don't know much about macros since I don't use that sort of stuff. I tried searching around on the internet, but I can't really seem to find anything. You might be a unique case, it seems. That aside, maybe something from below will help you arrive at a solution?

I've had the same bug and don't get why it's notifying me out of context. To solve it, I disabled the feature altogether. Long click the at a glance widget > Customize > click the gear icon beside "at a glance" > Turn off flashlight.

Thanks. Adding the "at a glance" widget to my home screen and following your instructions produced no flashlight option. I was at my wits end and then I disabled Nova launcher. That produced the "flashlight off" notification on my home screen also. Long pressing that took me to a different at a glance page where the flashlight option showed up.
