Hopefully they can get google wallet working like they did on the S3. I've tried changing my build.prop and installing wallet from market and sideloading it but nothing worked. Just figured I'd check it out.

Yeah I tried all the previous methods I used on my s3 too.
They have enabled google wallet and other varients of the GN2 from the link below...... I think? Hopefully now that we are rooted there will be a way to do it on our devices soon.

It just requires a custom recovery. Once we get that we should be good to go.

Anyone working on getting Google wallet working on our phones? I installed Modacos, modded apk, plus changed the build.prop to a nexus 4 and galaxy nexus. no dice. wont passed searching for google account.
Has anyone managed to get google wallet working on the HTC One yet? I tried using the patched wallet from Oct 2012 and it installs but when it tries to link to my google account it just hangs.

I was wondering the same thing, I found one apk on the internet but it wont let me open it because "google wallet is not available for your device yet"
Can you share a copy of your apk to see if it works for me?

I followed the tutorial on the high on android website. Just google it I can't post links yet.
Was able to install google wallet from the play store, but the when I open the app it says setting up may take 5 mins and it never finishes. The app just eventually crashes.
He states in the video overlays like touchwiz may cause issues so I am going to wait for an htc rom without sense on it.
Let me know if you get it working.
I used modacos cracked apk for Google wallet and get to the same place before it errors out. I read somewhere in passing that it's because HTC is missing the libs for it. Apparently HTC one x was missing them too

https://www.paywithisis.com/...... But it contains some caveats- 1) you have to go into an AT&T store to get an ISIS compatible SIM, and 2) don't bother if you're rooted. Even with the 'Secure Element' located on the SIM, they're still blocking rooted users.
I've rooted and Google Edition'd mine, so I'll just wait for 4.4 and Wallet, should be a couple of weeks.

Interesting... Wonder if they finally got it out because of the wallet updating and 4.4. either way, i'm with you.. No root, then no Isis..
So I did a quick search and didn't see anything in the forums but I wanted to bring this to all AT&T users attention. You can now just install Google Wallet from the app store and the Tap and Pay will work. It actually asks you if you want to use Google Wallet instead of ISIS. Looks like Google Wallet may have won the battle of restricting it to certain phones. I have a rooted stock version of kitkat installed wallet direct from the store and no issues.

I have been playing around with my note in the past while, and I found a rom that I like and is fairly stable. Its daydream 4.4.4... I am wondering about installing samsungs apps store. Can I get it and where do I find it? I signed in with my Samsung account and I cannot seem to find the download to install it. I tried another route and the apps store just opens and gives me the build number and does nothing else.
Any help would be appreciated!

There is no stock ROM available for the note above Jellybean. Therefore no Samsung apps on KitKat. If it's just regular apps you need, use Google Play store included in any gapps package. If you really need Samsung apps use a stock based ROM. (Custom Canadian, Blackstar, Padawan, Only one, etc)
