There are lots of option available. If you don't go for brands and your sister have a good electronics gadget 'luck' like me, go for micromax a90s.
Else htc explorer is a fine looking phone, desire c also nice(around 12k). On ebay.in you can get discounted phone with a little lesser price than market. Just make sure that it gives Manufacturer's India warranty..not seller/dealer's warranty.

Depends on the type of user.....a110 is good for gaming...but calling and other jobs is difficult on 5 inch screen.....my suggestion still is a110

It takes 5 hors to charge on usb,not on ac charge.
Lenovo will launch it's new phone p770 in this month. You can check it out. There are5new phones by lenovo

If I remember correctly the iPod Touch 4th Generation has an 800Mhz processor , but it's am ARMv7 conpatible processor .

I had a Samsung Wave II (S8530) with a 1GHz processor, can't remember what processor it had though, but that Phone has the best Video capabilities I have ever seen. Wife took a video from the back of assembly hall and you could hear the principle talking to someone without the microphone over the noise of the pupils while you can also see his untied shoe laces. To bad that phone has a crappy OS...
I might be mistaking, but I read somewhere that Gingerbread (2.3.4 I think) increased the resolution of movies in Ace. Is that true? Obviously not to HD quality but higher than the current value?

why buy high end mobile when we can buy motorola defy overclocked at 1.2ghz and 720p hd recording with cyanogenmod and miui ports and defy also is water resistant, dust proof, and resolution is 480x854. screen size is 3.7inch. and it has got ambient light sensor. flash in browser is also supported coz of ARMv8 processor.
price of defy is almost same as ace

You guys know that there are high-end phones for a low price?
eg. the Xiaomi phone that runs MIUI, quadrant as high as S2(unmodded). But we all know quadrant isnt something you should rely on.

Hey,
I would recommend you the Lg Optimus, since it has a big display, which means you can play better, Single-core processor(1ghz), pretty good battery (1700 mah) and a large internal storage, which means you can keep apps in internal store (4GB internal storage,which of them 2.4GB usable). Moreover it has a very good camera, if you care about that (5MP, 30 fps and 1080p recording). It comes with ICS, so probably developers will upgrade it to Jelly Bean.

I vote One V. Great build quality and a dual core Snapdragon S4 if I remember correctly. Only downside is the 4.3" screen size, which I reckon is manageable.

Yeah it's true MMX has 512mb ram but you don't need to worry about it as i am developing a rom for it:victory:,If camera matters then try some 3rd party camera app.....S duos is pricey for 17k.

I heard the following problem in MMX A110. Is it true?
1.Wifi is not good receiving signal is very weak
even standing before wifi router it still shows 1
point and disconnects and reconnects.
2.Call quality is also very poor facing lot of
disturbances while talking.
3.Copy paste option is very poor when
compaerd to other mobiles.
4.Getting some battery error saying charging
more please remove and insert battery
are all users facing these problems? Is it good
to buy this phone

Well tipo has Xloud tm experience which allows it to play music at very loud volumes and enhances the quality of the speakers. Tipo scored very high in Antutu so if your gf is in gaming then I'll recommend it. The bandwidth and upload speed is also quite good. Plus it is a budget phone. The build design of Tipo is beautiful and many reviews has given it full stars for it's build quality. Also it is very light and easy to hold. The only negative is its small screen size. But you can solve that by buying miro.

Yes it is good too . But the most reviews I have read , it is a fail mobile. Motorola fire xt is thicker than tipo considering the mobile is from Motorola which creates very thin mobiles. In a video review I saw that it takes very long time to boot load. Also there were many problems with the touch screen. The sound quality isnt that great either. The internet is same as tipo considering if you're using the same WiFi. But I think your gf wouldn't so much in hifi technology, so yeah you can buy her this phone taking into account that the screen is 3.5inches.

On technology basis htc explorer is outdated (running gingerbread2.3.5)
If ur range is under 200$ than absolutely go for tipo
No other can provide all these features
But if u afford more tell me I can suggest u good choices...:good:

Well if u can wait than wait for march
As in march xperia e will be released and it has great features
1ghz processor and will have 4.1.2 jellybean price around 11000 INR (220$)
Also if u afford go for xperia U, GO, sola (around 13000INR) 260$..:victory:
