[Q] facing some prob in pureness rom b14 sp1 neo v - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hi guys
I am posting first-time. I have neo v with locked
Bootloader ics. 587 with pureness rom b14, sp1
But I am facing some problems there
1. In Appdrawer all applications are not shown and
I have checked that in home setting that no app is being
hidden I have tried diff arrange setting like alphabetically or
most used etc. they are changing in numbers but never shown
all sometime shown other on another setting some else
2. My network strength with H (HSPD) signal not working but with
E (Edge's )
3. I have stocked kernel means originally comes in. 587
And I am just having 13-14 hour battery backup
4. Sometimes keyboard is not showing suggestions
and sometimes does for same application like on Google
Search
5 Can I get one more option in quick panel that is wifi portability
on off setting.
Else everything is a.beauty in this Rom I am loving it
Vicky

I'll ask a Mod to shift this to the Neo General section for you Vicky, I just saw you mentioned in the other thread

Moved to Xperia Neo General.

I'm having problems with the wifi, I can't enable it!
Running Pureness b14 SP1 on neo, and Nelf 1.5.
I can't post in the main pureness thread because I don't have over ten posts.

I tried doing that, but it still didn't work!
If I flash my kernel again, will it erase any settings/files on my phone?

Thanks buddy for help
But won't that void all my warranty
Or have I already void them by rooting
And flashing pureness
One More question
Can I make a ftf file with whatever I have
Installed in my neo v, pureness b14 sp1
So that I won't need to install. 587're
Then pureness zip, then patch for neo v
And after rebooting and wait of one hour
Sp1. I just wanna get it repaid
So I wanna know can I make an ftf file of complete
Rom u am having installed now in my mobile
Using flashtool

thank but some quarries still there

Thanks for ur help buddy
But still have some questions
Won't that void all my warranty
Or have I already void that by rooting and
Flashing pureness
And can I make a ftf kind of file with my current
Rom and applications so that next time I won't need to do
Such long process to flash pureness sp1
Like flash. 587 than flash.562 kernel to root
Than root and install cwm recovery
Then install.587 kernel than pureness zip
Than patch for neo v thanreboot and wait for
Atleast one our and than install sp1
So I think it will be easy to have a ftf.file and flash
It using flashtool or something like that
Is this possible

U have already void warranty, not sure about ftf file your talking about but I dont think so!
Press thanks if I helped

Modify stock ICS

Hi all,
I just installed stock ICS via ftf file.
I only want the following modifications;
1. Delete unwanted apps.
2. Status bar with toggles.
3. Performance wise smooth.
4. That's it.
I have watched the tutorial given in xda by nero to cook the ROM but I just need above modifications. Any help or ideas?

I dont understand why u would wanna stay on Stock modified when there are soo many stock based roms which have all that u've mentioned and more..
I know tht ur not new to custom roms cause i've seen you in various rom threads..im just curious as to why you would want a modified stock ics.. when custom roms are better..
I have root access and boot loader unlocked. I know there are a lot of cusyom ROMs available but I couldn't find any stable ROM on which I could stick for a long time. Every saturday night, I am whether updating the ROMs with fixes or totally new looks. However I appreciate and respect devs work and their efforts. If anyone could tell me any ROM which is already shrinked in size by deleting useless apps and performance wise smooth but not mosified so that I could install then install MODs for my choice? Any possibility?

Wow, I didn't expect such answer. Any way, I was only looking for the ROM which have NO BUGS at all (at-least for me) and Sony ICS stock ROM doesn't have bugs I guess (or may be I am wrong but I didn't face any in 3 weeks) but yea, performance is not good (lagging and all that i.e. NOT SMOOTH). So, I was only looking for this kind of ROM i.e. No Bugs, Smooth, and stable.
But any way, I have finally found the one with only 1 or max 2 bugs which would be fixed soon (I hope) and applied some MODs of my choice and I can use my Neo V without any -ve things!!!
Thanks to all!!!

Because the device goes into deep sleep. And you can overclock, if you want.
Btw, use Greenify... You can get it from the play store and kill unwanted apps to run in the background. Hope that works.

well i dont get that lag even without restarting device, whether im on ICS or GB,, (GB is surely faster on my mt25i) we both seem to have similar device, that link would help you, but be careful though
why not try clearing caches? have yout tried? or maybe you use too many applications that runs in background for example, a couple of messengers?

Btw which rom do you want gb/ics/jb. I am listing some of my personal favourites you will find them easily in the neo v development section. The steps to installation are also there in the respective roms, if you still have some problem you can first try to find the solution by reading the thread or else post your question on respective threads or pm me. Happy to help. The roms i like are
1. SJB 4.1.2
2. Mike's LegacyXperia rom CM10.1/10.2
3. DarkDefenders's rom based on LegacyXperia 4.2.2 ( Currently discontinued)
4. Ultimate HD rom (ICS)
5. Xperia Slim (GB)
These many would be enough to confuse you.

i unlocked my bootloader and rooted, now for flashing of kernels and roms the options look like this
1. copy super jelly bean and gapps to sd card
2. flash any jb kernel for neov via fastboot.. i recommend fusion kernel 5.4 (present inside the zip file )
3.[OPTIONAL] flash stock ics .587 ftf excluding kernel and simlock.ta files..
4. boot into recovery
5.full wipes
ie :
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvik cache
in mounts and storage , wipe system , data and cache
6. flash Super Jelly Bean
8. only for neo (mt15i) users flash patch
7.flash gapps : use this link : Gapps For SJB
8.reboot
9.enjoy
I CANT GET THE 3RD POINT!! where can i get ics.587 ftf file??
Skip that point. Won't cause any trouble. Even if you want to, search for it in the development section. There is a thread which has all the stock firmwares. Download it from there. Turn off your phone. Move the downloaded ftf file to firmware folder in flashtool folder on your pc. Open flashtool, click on the flash/bolt icon/button. You will get two options choose flash mode. Select the ftf file and follow on screen instructions. While flashing the stock ftf uncheck the kernel and simlock files. Once the progress bar reaches 100% go ahead with other steps.
This must be looking so confusing so u can skip this.

Xperia Z1 Honami ROM Question

Since I can't post yet to the developer's section, I decided to make a thread about this new ROM by saqib nazm. I'm a big fan of his custom ROMs. I just want to ask if this ROM can also be used with Xperia Neo L. It says on the OP of your thread that you need to be on stock ICS 4.1.B.0.587 or 4.1.B.1.13 Firmware and since Neo L has one of the official firmwares (which is .587), I was wondering if I can install this also on my device. I remember having problems when I tried to install one of your custom ROMs which is Revolution ICS HD even if Neo L is part of the aroma installer. If this can't be installed with Neo L, is it also possible if you can port this to Neo L or Xperia Play, since XPlay ROMs work on Neo L. Thanks
i have a question too.
How to display korean? it looks like doesn't support ...

Thanks

If you need a tester of this ROM for Neo L, i can do that since I still own and using this device. I don't mind if I need to reflash my current ROM over and over again..

Original Xperia Z1 Honami ROM
Hello guys,
I have a quesiton.
Do you know where to find, which version of this ROM I am using in my phone ? I mean if it is professional or exlusive or extreme. I have Xperia mini pro.
And I can give you the build number if it helps : 14.1.g.1.263
One more thing.
This ROM was working really well for me. But last trhee weeks it is starting to act weird. Mainly when I am trying to call someone or somebody is calling me. The phone will reset on its own. Well this is not happening on each call. But it is annoying.
Do you think is time to re-install the ROM ? As I am using this ROM for really a long time maybe from November or October 2013.
Thank you for your help.
Have a nice day
