Since you have unlocked boatloader flash a custom kernel with fastboot... You will get access to recovery... Through that you can install roms... Or you can flash stock firmware through flashtool...

While connecting your phone to your pc keep the menu key on your device pressed. That will enable you to connect it in fastboot mode. After that you can flash a custom kernel with cwm through flashtool.

Hit thanks if i helped.
Btw which rom do you want gb/ics/jb. I am listing some of my personal favourites you will find them easily in the neo v development section. The steps to installation are also there in the respective roms, if you still have some problem you can first try to find the solution by reading the thread or else post your question on respective threads or pm me. Happy to help. The roms i like are
1. SJB 4.1.2
2. Mike's LegacyXperia rom CM10.1/10.2
3. DarkDefenders's rom based on LegacyXperia 4.2.2 ( Currently discontinued)
4. Ultimate HD rom (ICS)
5. Xperia Slim (GB)
These many would be enough to confuse you.

Yes install fusion 5.4 kernel it has cwm in it.
For cm10.1 use the kernel inside zip.
Look into the sticky threads you'll find how to unlock your bootloader. Do it via the official sony site. For more details on any of the roms visit respective threads.

i unlocked my bootloader and rooted, now for flashing of kernels and roms the options look like this
1. copy super jelly bean and gapps to sd card
2. flash any jb kernel for neov via fastboot.. i recommend fusion kernel 5.4 (present inside the zip file )
3.[OPTIONAL] flash stock ics .587 ftf excluding kernel and simlock.ta files..
4. boot into recovery
5.full wipes
ie :
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvik cache
in mounts and storage , wipe system , data and cache
6. flash Super Jelly Bean
8. only for neo (mt15i) users flash patch
7.flash gapps : use this link : Gapps For SJB
8.reboot
9.enjoy
I CANT GET THE 3RD POINT!! where can i get ics.587 ftf file??

Skip that point. Won't cause any trouble. Even if you want to, search for it in the development section. There is a thread which has all the stock firmwares. Download it from there. Turn off your phone. Move the downloaded ftf file to firmware folder in flashtool folder on your pc. Open flashtool, click on the flash/bolt icon/button. You will get two options choose flash mode. Select the ftf file and follow on screen instructions. While flashing the stock ftf uncheck the kernel and simlock files. Once the progress bar reaches 100% go ahead with other steps.
This must be looking so confusing so u can skip this.

Step 5: NANDROID BACKUP
once you've settled with cm9(restored your apps with titanium) and everything seems normal,
1)go to cwm
2)select backup and restore>backup
3)your phone will be backed up within 20 minutes or less
4)once finished, reboot phone
your backup will be stored in "SD card/clockworkmod/backup/<date_and_time_of backup>"
please rename it for convenience say "fxp 214 cm9 (new)"
HOW TO RESTORE?

to change kernels, you need to do it via flashtool or fastboot mode
fastboot mode?
while phone is in power off state, open USB cover , connect USB to pc but not to phone , press and hold menu button , connect USB to phone and the notification light should go blue , you can now leave the menu button you are now in fastboot mode.
to change kernel while in fastboot mode, open flashtool, click lightning icon>fastboot mode>ok>select kernel to flash>ok>bazinga!!!
UPGRADING?
Are you on a fxp ROM and wanna upgrade to a higher version?
no worries bro!
1)Download the ROM
2)Put it on your SD card
3)For safety just backup your current ROM if anything goes wrong !!

5)Enter recovery the way you normally do it(down button.)
6)Wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache ONLY!!
7)Install zip from SD card
8)Wait.......

To unisol107 and Aarush: Sorry to disagree with you, but this kind of tutorial is indeed necessary for noobs like me. It's hard to do all these procedures in the correct way and in the correct order by reading dozens of different threads and sites; it is hard to find out what kernel is compatible with this or that rom, what rom is bug-free, what kernel is bug-free, and many, many other important things like that. And many other tutorials are filled with a plethora of abbreviations that are way beyond my knowledge - only to list few obstacles!
The forum's moderators should, indeed, give congratulations to the_neo_v_guy for his effort, and even help him to improve some litle things to make this tutorial even better than it already is! (Some sort of a better text formating and layout fine-tunning would be nice, if possible).
Stick this toppic, by the way! And help the author to mantain it up to date!
(And sorry for my bad English)
(To the_neo_v_guy: Congratulations, man! Keep going on your good work of helping completely noob people like me!
nice job!!! very helpful for noobs!! keep it up!

- Stock ICS v 4.0.4 (version 4.1.B.0.431);
- Baseband with 72 in its last two digits;
- Kernel 2.6.32.9-perf [email protected]#9 (for 1.4 ghz overclock capabilities).
I am thinking about installing CianogenMod, but as I said before, I am a noob, and I don't have enough time (nor ninja discipline...) to read all 220 pages of this toppic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445844&page=220
So, I need help to find answers to these questions:
1 - Does FXP kernells allow overclock?
2 - Do I need to use only FXP kernells under CianogemMod roms, or can I use other Kernels?
3 - Are FXP132 versions of CM10 completely bug-free and fully operational in Xperia Neo V?
4 - If not, what is the newest version of Cianogen rom that is bug-free and fully operational for my Xperia Neo V, and what kernell can I use with it for best performance/overclock and/or battery-friendly use?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad English.

For now I suggest you to install cm9 because is almost full working. I don't personally recommend you cm10 as it's in a development phase and presents issues.
To install cm9, :
1)copy the latest fxp tom on your phone
2)extract from the fxp file you downloaded the boot.img and flash it via flashtool
3) enter recovery wipe cache, dalvik cache and do a factory reset.
4) install cm9 and after that install immediately gapps. Google for gapps and make sure that you install the one for ics.
5) reboot and enjoy!
If you want to install the cm10 just do the same procedure with cm10 fxp latest files and install gapps for jb.

Gapps are Google apps. Playstore, gmail etc.
Just follow the steps already mentioned before and you will be able to install cyanogenmod mate.

First of all remember that the codename for Sony Xperia Sola is Pepper. Don't install any other's devices firmware because you will have serious troubles.
So go here: http://dfiles.eu/folders/H4B5M4XR0
Download the file named FXP216-cm-9-20130419-UNOFFICIAL-pepper.zip
Transfer the file you downloaded on you phone.
From the file you downloaded extract the boot.img file and place it on your desktop.
Open flashtool. Click fastboot mode and flash the boot.img.
Once done flashing the file, turn on your device and press continuously volume down button. You will enter in cmw.
Wipe cache, do a factory reset and from advanced menu wipe dalvik cache.
After that, go to install zip from sdcard.
Find the file you previously transferred on you phone and install it.
Reboot and you are done.
For any issues let me know.

Thank you mate, I will try your suggestion because I'm new with CM custom rom.
Hello!
I've got Sola with Unofficial JB stock rom by @munjeni (his kernel too, ofcourse). And I've got couple of questions:
1. Does 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Cyanogenmod 10.1 for Xperia Sola MT27i works with Munjeni's kernel or should I flash the one inside CM build? Apparently there some bugs there , like wifi and bluetooth.
2. Can I install CM 9 on my current kernel?
3. What's the best option here , CM9 (stable) or CM10.1?
Thanks in advance for answers, I realize these are noob questions, but I'm just netering the world of flashing :/
