i come from sgs2 , 2 days ago i bought evo3D, and i didnt root or change something from stock version , and now my phone keep restarting , i guess from what i know from my sgs2 framework doesnt work or its buggy ..
anyone have any explonation
(sorry about my english )
Make sure the matter is completely in place... On mine there was a small enough space between the pins and terminals to cause reboots so I shoved a card behind the battery and no more reboots
If you have not rooted anything if it's not a hardware issue like thatguy11285 suggests. I would try a factory reset and see if there was some type of software that was causing the issue. Maybe a specific app? Who knows. But that should cover hardware and software related issues.

Probably a defective device. I had a similar problem. I exchanged my original Evo 3D with a new one within 15 days of purchase. The new one works fine.
Try and boot into safe mode and see if it keeps rebooting if it does I'd guess a replacement is needed.

Had this same issue on stock firmware but my android.phone never crashed it could be that your phone had a bad flash or that your sim card is loose (like mine was) and you just need to reinsert the sim card
I have the same problem with the stock rom nothing seems to help

Does your phone looses signal than you hart to reboot to get it back or put it in airplane mode
Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk 2
thanks man
thank you for replying me
acutely i had made a back up from the original sens after rooting and thank god i did because it is the only system that works in the way i describe above and in this sens4 if i made a restart in the beginning it give me the error massage that i told u about and no signal until i press don,t send the report to htc several times thin the signal works if i press sent to htc , nothing happens until i go to airplane pressing it of and on the error massage appears again and for sure i press don,t sent the report the signal will back
now if i flash any rom sens or what ever cm10 through the recovery the rom begins with no massages but too slow for the one x plus and no signal at all
and some roms stuck with htc logo others i can go to airplane but the button is on off mod and i can,t change it
so i go back to my back up with no massages error

I have that problem. I get temporary signal loss and then I put it in ariplane mode to get the singnals back.
It's very frustrating as sometime I take the phone out of my pocket and realize there's no singal, it could have been without signal for a long time.
Do you know what is the fix for this?

This is what I think and also might just be your network in that area! My iPhone 4 also did this sometimes and had to hit airplane mode on then off to reconnect. More of a universal problem imo then a device related. Sometimes my iPhone would stay on Edge network on ATT when in fact I knew I was in a 3g area!. I would then have to do the airplane toggle and guess what, stupid phone connected to 3g. Believe this is network crap issues or in this phones particular case as it been reported by a few already, loose sin card in tray.
System Dump
if the problem as you said a problem of my coverage area so why when i flash any new rom it dose not have any signal at all??????
now i think that htc company had done something bad to my phone after rooting because why we have to give them the token number?
and why a lots of programs has gone after token number is giving to them??????????
how ever now i am convinced that i have base band problem(because htc had removed things we don,t recognized it until now from android phone system ) so can anybody give me the System Dump of one x plus
if any moderate read my problem please guide me ???????

I also have no Wifi or 3g?
In my case i think it has to do with what i did before this happens: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2048089
I am looking for help to fix this....
is there anybody here
I fixed it... By flashing a custom rom (InsertCoin) with the correct root.img file flashed before.

This happened to me before. Just download whatever custom rom you want, extract the Boot.img file and flash it via fastboot, then flash the custom rom. Your issues will dissappear.

Has anyone else been having the issue where your phone says that there is no simcard detected? I'm using the insert coin rom now, but it happened even before I rooted. it's been happening a lot more these past few days. I just want to know if anyone else has been having this issue? Is there an official HTC update to fix it?
A quick toggle of airplane mode fixes it but still...

It started happening about two weeks after I got the phone. After the 4th or 5th occurrence, I pulled the SIM and used a pencil eraser (lightly) over the contacts of the card and re-inserted. I haven't had an issue since (knocks on wood).

This has been answered several times please use the search function. Posts like this are cluttering up the boards. This seems to be a design issue. More specifically the card is loose on the tray. Pop it out and put it back in. It won't fix the issue but most users have found it stays working longer.

I've had this phone for about 10 days. On Wednesday morning I awoke to the phone displaying a no SIM message at the top of the screen. I found this thread in the One X forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1581349
I'm guessing that since these phones are so similar construction wise the issue I'm having is probably the same. Here's what I know so far. The first instance happened after some heavy gaming. To remedy it I restarted the phone. The second instance randomly occured while the phone layed on its back. Once again I remedied it by restarting the phone. Third instance happened sometime overnight. This time the remedy was switching on/off airplane mode.
I'm rooted with bl unlocked running insertcoin 1.1.3. Anyone else having no SIM issues? If so do you feel it is software or hardware related?

it's simcard related, just pop it out and back in, also search the forum this has been brought up already

Umm I did search... Hence the link posted up above. Perhaps "one x+ no SIM" is not adequate. What are you searching on where you find the discussion that was brought up before?

As suggested in other threads, I cut out a piece of a post-it note, stuck it on the back of the sim and I haven't had the issue since.
I decided to call HTC. They are mailing a new SIM tray to try. They advised if it does not remedy the issues to contact att and have the phone replaced as it sounds like the SIM card reader itself is defective. As suggested by the rep the phone is designed to work without postit notes and something is defective which is causing the problem.

As Lloir Said this has been answered several times, including by myself. The problem is hardware related. The sim card sits in the tray loose and every so often manages to wiggle its way out. DO NOT try and fix this by restarting the phone. I am sure it will not break anything but this is not a fix in the least bit. Pop the card out re seat it and place it back in. I have not had an issue in weeks since doing this. Other recomend a postit or tape, do so at your own risk. You would feel pretty stupid if something got stuck in there.
I used a piece of a sticker and stuck the sim to the tray after getting the error for a week. This was about a month ago and I haven't received the error since.
People say to use a piece of paper or something of that nature, but I would feel pretty sketchy about removing the sim one day and the paper not coming out with it.
I was actually able to shake my phone lightly and hear the sim card rattle around. Even placing my phone flat on its back and playing music or sounds from the speaker would be enough to rattle the sim around. Definitely Hardware issue.

I've had this happen two times to me and just restarted the phone, both times happened with a couple days of each other but this was at least 2 weeks ago. Why do you not recommend restarting the phone? Is it just because its not a real fix or could it do some sort of damage to the phone?

I said right in the post it will not break it. restarting the phone does not fix the fact the card is loose hence why it happens more frequently when restarting versus popping the card out and re-seating it.
Well after hours of searching i cannot find the solution to my problem...any help would be appreciated. please read series of events below.
- Got my Note 2 on Verizon in Jan
- Following week dropped phone and cracked screen. replaced glass and digitizer with OEM part
- Loved my phone and then the 4.1.2 update released.. battery life went down the drain and WiFi is a mess
- Phone won't connect to Wifi but if i get close to my router at home it will connect but if i go in the other room it loses connection. Same thing happens in other Wifi locations. Sometimes it will recognize the network and then say "saved, secured", but still doesn't connect. or sometimes it will attempt to connect and then i will get authentication error occurred.
- Thought it was the update so unlocked/rooted my device...Started with Jelly Beans, problem still present. Tried Cm10, same issue.
I am currently rooted running CM10 4.2.2 baseband version I605VRAMC3
I can't seem to figure this out. Is it the radio? software? Thoughts?

Sounds like when you took your phone apart you did not either connect the cables for the antenna tightly, which you should see degraded call and 4g lte signal also. Or the antenna is damaged. On the other hand. I have heard of dirty or damaged sims causing this problem. Take a pencil eraser and clean off the gold by lightly wiping with the eraser in one direction. Or get a new sim. All this of course is dependent on you running a rom that does not have WiFi issues to start with.
Could it be the baseband? Is there a way to go back to the radio before the 4.1.2...this all started after the update.

If your unlocked you can easily get them from the thread Scott made in the Dev section. You flash them in recovery.

Can i get you to point me in the right direction? all i have found is how to unlock the device when you are on the older version.
Can i just flash the old radio and stay unlocked/rooted? does anyone have a direct download link to older radio VRALL4?
Sorry new to the site, have been searching but can't find what i am looking for.
shangrila500 already pointed out the radios are located in development section look for radiosmodemsbaseband thread (that section only has 4 pages its in there). You can flash the radios without affecting your root status. do a nandroid backup before just to be safe if you like. wipe 2x cache and flash. You can test all 3 one right after another. Do a lot of reading to get your weight up by looking for sticked how to's and the like-it will help. Also if you did take your phone apart consider dragonstalkers post. The only way to problem solve is come at it from all angles.
